Had a great experience here for various issues with my car. I had my check engine light turn on so I brought it here as it was close to my home and convenient. They did a great job thoroughly checking everything over and provided pictures as well. My car is quite old, so I didn't want to sink too much into repairs. Was very happy to find that Carmen and Brandon worked with me to figure out what needed to be done to buy me a bit more time. Thank you for answering all my various questions and working with me. I took my car to get a new set of tires. Carmen recommended me some good quality tires for my price range. She was very kind and ordered the tires for me in a short amount of time. When the tires arrived I took my car in and Brandon was working. He was also very nice and explained the importance of getting an alignment and also recommended getting a tire warranty. The four tires were changed quickly and they called me as soon as they were done. Picking up my car was really quick and easy. Gigi helped me as I checked out. She gave me the best options regarding the alignment and warranty. All of these employees were really helpful and made my experience a good one. Because of them, I will keep bringing my cars for future things.

Abby was a delight to deal with. She was very professional and upbeat before 7 am. She was able to assist me in helping remove the screw in my tire and get me back on the road. Great customer services still exist, even before 7 am!

Gigi at the Wheel Works El Camino location was amazing. She had such a positive attitude and you can tell she truly loves where she works and cares about her customers. She made everything easy, explained things clearly, and made me feel confident I was in good hands. Her professionalism and energy really stood out. Carmen at the front desk was wonderful. I had my battery inspected right away and got a very honest feedback that I don’t need to fix anything immediately. I feel like I can trust them and will be back should I need service!

Brandon was very helpful. He matched the price of another tire shop and transferred the tires from another shop to the San Mateo location so I could have my car turned around the same day. I was impressed by the customer service and the shop's speed. Thank you!

Guiselle was fantastic! She helped me get four new tires and was extremely thorough in explaining everything. It’s rare to find someone who pays such close attention to detail. Highly recommend seeing her if you need tires!

Wheel Works is a great local San Mateo business! They provide great customer service and have very competitive prices. They've helped me get flat tires fixed promptly and went above and beyond when installing new tires. Definitely recommend them if you need new tires or other automotive work done.

Gigi and Carmen were so pleasant and knowledgeable when I came in to get new tires. Gigi was incredibly patient with my questions and helped to price match me. No pressure to do any additional services but were helpful in sharing recommendations for what to do to keep still a good level of maintenance on my car. Highly recommend!

If you need a tire replacement or patch, this is the place to go!! Brandon and his team were so kind, helpful, and honest. I drove over a giant screw on my way to work and they were able to patch it up in no time. Highly recommend them as a reputable shop!

Saul saved my day. I got a puncture late in the day and Saul helped me figure things out. He listens to my situation and offer useful solutions. He really takes good care of his customer.

Excellent customer service. Saul is knowledgeable, and he is clear about what to expect based on the condition of the vehicle. He doesn’t complicate things for you, and it is easy to tell he is trying to help you as a customer and not just trying to make money out of nowhere with the car, which is something very difficult to find nowadays. About the service performed: excellent. We gave them a very difficult car to align that was involved in a collision and they did a marvelous job. Saul made some mechanical decisions that made this difficult task actually easier than what it was. Very fair price too compared to all the scammers out there. Very happy customer here. Kudos!

I came in for two new tires and, as always, Sal took amazing care of me. His customer service is consistently excellent: clear communication, honest recommendations, and a level of kindness that really stands out in the auto world. Every employee I’ve interacted with here has been knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely helpful. They don’t talk down to you, they explain what’s going on with your car, and they treat you with respect every single time. That alone keeps me coming back. Sal and the whole team deserve a raise for how they run this shop. If you want fair prices, real professionalism, and people who actually care, Wheel Works San Mateo is it. Highly recommend!

Had a puncture on my right rear tyre and came into Wheelworks on a Tuesday afternoon. They took me in straight away and had me back on the road within an hour. Excellent service and great communication throughout the whole process. Really impressed with the efficiency and professionalism. I’ll definitely be returning here for any future services. One of my best experience working to get my vehicle serviced. Staffs were very nice and very knowledgeable about what needs to be or couldn't be fixed. The car was also fixed at a reasonable and fast time. Highly recommended place for services.

I went to Wheel Works on El Camino with a screw in my tire. After a brief wait as they helped folks in front of me, we went out to check the tire. All the employees were super friendly and helpful. I had to leave the car for a bit, but when I went to pick it up, they said it was no charge!!! Wow!! Thanks WW. I also really like that they have a system there that folks can opt to donate to the Boys and Girls Club. Support companies that support our communities.

At this Wheel Works location, exceptional customer service is evident, in contrast to the experience at the Belmont location. I would like to express my gratitude to Toni for assisting me in acquiring a new set of tires within a single afternoon, without the need for an appointment. Toni informed me that she had only two tires available at this location and proceeded to locate two from another store. Consequently, I was able to return my vehicle with the new set of tires within less than three hours. I commend Toni and the outstanding crews at South San Mateo Wheel Works for their exceptional service.

We had a great experience here. We usually get our tires replaced at Costco, but decided to shop around since it's a bit of a hassle getting tires replaced or rotated at Costco. We found on wheel works' website they carried the same tires we were looking to get from Costco but with essentially the same price and next day availability (vs Costco's two week wait). They also advertise free future rotations and inspections which is a plus. Booking an appointment was super easy on the website. We showed up the next day and were helped at the counter by Abby who was super friendly and helpful. She talked us through their options, we picked the same tires we originally wanted and left the car with them. The car was ready in about two hours. Picking up and patient was super fast as well. Overall, I'd for sure use this place as our tires shop from now on.
