All i wanted to do was find an honest Mechanic , this print out says 2010 , it’s the end of 2024 , and it says i have a 2012 Hyundai Azera and i don’t ! I don’t know what to believe ! I know i won’t be taking car back there .
Please do NOT go to E&J. I love that I can drop by and Joe will take my car in immediately, diagnose the problem in minutes, and fix it for a very reasonable price. If you and everyone else goes to E&J, then I will have to wait for my car to be fixed. All kidding aside, I trust Joe completely. He is a man of high integrity. I highly recommend E&J.

Called shop to get a estimate on completing a engine swap I started and said they don't work on cars someone else has touched wow lmao so don't all cars get serviced by more than 1 mechanic in this life omg tells me they cant problem solve or put cars back together
Due to a faulty brake pad sensor, I was led to believe that I needed to replace my rear brakes. I was looking around for a new mechanic. The manager, Joe Yoo, provided me with a very reasonable quote for the repair. After I dropped off my car, I received a callback from him. He stated that I still had 50% left on my brakes and that the replacement was unnecessary. He stated that the dealer needed to reset and diagnose the faulty sensor. Like so many other mechanics out there, he could’ve taken my money and replaced my brakes even though I did not need it. I would’ve been none the wiser. I was so impressed with his honesty and integrity. When a mechanic tells a BMW owner that they do NOT need work on the car, this mechanic is a keeper! I told him he has a customer for life! If you have car problems, give them a chance and I think you will find that their reputation speaks for itself.
We've been taking our cars to E&J for several years now and have always been delighted with the results. They are very upfront with any work that they believe is required and pragmatic in their approach.
This place has been taken over by Joe and Pete of AutoTech Center in Burlingame, whose building is being demolished. These guys are top notch ethically, affordable, and have a broad base of experience. They will even tell you if there's some special function (Porche owners) that they'd recommend you have done elsewhere. Don't tell anyone - these guys are a valued secret.
Brought in a car that had some undetermined problems just to see if we could get some advice on what to do. He took the time to look and listen to it, helped us understand what the issue was, and whether or not it needed immediate service. (It did not.) His recommendation was to wait and take it back to the body shop that had done some prior work, as it is likely related.
In short, instead of trying to scam us or recommend unnecessary work, he gave a professional opinion that could save us money and make him nothing.
PS - A week or so later, we're going to take it in to him to fix anyway. Will update if experience is anything less than 5 stars.
