  SMC HHW is a very accessible service as you drive up, with your waste in your trunk, bagged and boxed (or a larger non-leaking tub) and the team members remove the waste from your trunk for you. You never have to even get out of your car. Just pull up, shut off your engine, and pop the truck! They'll do all the hard work for you. It's super efficient and the team members are really nice/polite.

  It was our first time using this free service (dropping off 10 gallons of paint), and we had such a fantastic experience that I'm already looking for more stuff to drop off (probably fire extinguishers and florescent bulbs). Just book an appointment online, drive into the unloading zone, and let them take it away. The guys were so cheerful, professional and efficient. Great service, the highlight of my day! :D

  This is a fantastic place to drop off hazardous waste like paint, batteries, fluorescent lamps, pool and lawn chemicals, oil and gas, and more! Make sure to go online and double check hours. You also need to make an appointment. Package the waste in plastic bins or tubs and be sure to load it carefully into your car so nothing spills. Don’t touch anything toxic or corrosive without gloves, and wash your hands! Once you pull up to the unloading area, the waste technicians will safely unload all the household hazardous waste from your car. This service is free for ordinary residents of the county. Small businesses can participate for a small fee.

  I came by to drop off aerosols, pesticides, engine oils, gasoline, and a car battery. Lex and his crew were professional, helpful, and efficient. I didn't think that dropping off household waste would be so pleasant; the guys were fantastic. Highly recommended for this *free* service and don't forget to make an appointment before showing up!
