This place is a ripoff, they quoted me one price and when my driver was there getting the van towed they told him it’s a 3 hour minimum. This is outrageous for a 5 mile tow. Please save yourself the headache and call someone else. The owner Lee is one rude person. I will continue to past my results to keep others having issues. The 5 mike yow went from $295 to $962. Crazy. Even at $295 it was to much.
Guy Thx towed my car, he was nice, responsive and sent me pictures after parking the car. I was not there to see and check it at the time but I think he did a good job.
My shift cable in my Denali broke as I parked in the tiny Bel Mateo Bowling parking lot. I called 10-4 Towing and they said a flatbed could be there in about an hour or so. They updated me via text. The driver, Miguel, was very nice and professional. I was worried because my truck was stuck in Reverse so I was concerned about my transmission. Everything seemed ok and Miguel was able to get my truck out of that little parking lot no problem. One of the workers from the bowling alley came out to help because they’ve had issues with tow trucks not being able to get cars out. He offered to help us push it out but Miguel didn’t need the help. This guy is an expert.
I got a ride with him to my shop in SSF and he dropped off my Denali. For a little bit of a stressful situation, the experience with 10-4Tow was great.
Service by Ben was very good today towing my 2022 Honda accord to the dealership after small front end damage to my vehicle he gave me good advice and his truck was clean and pleasant to be in, highly recommended and I will use them again if needed
This company is a fraud. Needed a simple jumpstart on a brand new car after the interior lights were left on. Waited 1 hour. The gentleman who showed up couldn’t get it started and fumbled around for a bit. I called another AAA tow service and the guy jumped it in 2 seconds on his first try. I then called and told the supervisor I wouldn’t be paying them anything and he was like “you can dispute the charge with your credit card company”. I obviously disputed the charge and had it removed. I’d highly encourage you to go anywhere else.
This company is the worst. Ask them for a simple jump start, and they said they’d arrive in 45 mins. 2 hours later they arrived
But it gets worse. They told me it would cost between 95-135 dollars but then the tow truck guy demanded 235 and parked behind my car until I paid. When I called back to 10-4, they said it’s not their problem as they not known to me called a random 3rd party which decided to demand what they wanted. When I talked to 10-4 again, they shrugged their shoulders and said work it out with them. Unprofessional, untrustworthy, stay away!
I tried to use this service to get a jump start. They asked for my credit card and said they would charge it if I wasn't around when they showed up. They said they would arrive in an hour.15 minutes after the hour I called back. They put me on hold for 5 minutes. Repeat call, hold for 10 minutes. Repeat again and again, on hold and on hold. After 30 minutes more they get back to me. I couldn't understand them because of all the static. They say they are at my location and tried to call me. They weren't at my location and
didn't call me. 15 minutes later a driver called and said it would take another hour and a half. Just say NO to 10-4 towing! They have no clue what they are doing.
Rush hour Bay Area traffic, and driver still arrived on time! Rescued me and my car from a hazardous offramp, had my car all hooked up before I was even able to climb in the passenger seat! Litterally seconds! Driver was very helpful even offered a few suggestions as for what to do next and where to tow it to! Awesome , efficient and very professional! Thank you !!
They told me one price when I called them, but the driver took twice of that price! I specifically asked a couple times if the price will change, they told me it will not. I am trying to get the refund, but everytime they just leave me hanging by telling that they are reviewing it. For 4 weeks!
They told me 1 hour and it took 2.5 hours for the truck to arrive. Kinda frustrating when they don't just tell you the truth. Also they didn't mention that you are not allowed to ride with the truck. This is kinda important to tell the customer when you know the car is a break down off the freeway at 11pm. This left me scrambling to get a ride at the last second. I had to set up an uber account to get it done. Anyhow the car got back to my house so that's good. The next day I received a call from 10/4 Tow asking how my experience was so I mentioned them not telling me about getting my own ride and the lady didn't care. Why even call and ask then???

Driver called me after 20 mins and said he would be there in another 25 mins 50 min wait dispatcher said 25..Ask why so long and the driver said if you order a pizza you have to wait.I hope i never need 10 -4 tow ever again.
We’ve been waiting 2 hours and 15 minutes and we’ve been told 10 different times that the tow truck will be here in about 15 minutes, 10 minutes, 4 minutes, and right around the corner. But it’s all a lie. They also took our credit card number, so it’s hard for us to cancel at this point. Basically we have been waiting for no reason, calling, and wasting our time entirely for a tow that has still not yet showed up. It’s also a workday, so this is a bit more stressful than normal. Every time I call too, I’m on hold for 10+ minutes...Avoid this place.
I like that they had a tow truck available when I called but would have appreciated more about the cancellation fee of $49 . That was not explained well to me. If I had known that, I would not have cancelled.
Had an exploded tire beside the freeway yesterday and since this was a 5⭐ Company I trusted they will keep up with their words. Operator(with attitude) asked for my card info, not mentioning the total cost but gave me an estimate of around 100-120. I asked her how long it would take for the driver to get to me, she said 45-60mins. So I waited and after 65mins, I called her again, then she said I have to wait for another 20mins. I couldn’t wait any longer, not only that I am pregnant, it was very hot! And the thought of waiting another unsure 20mins wasn’t going to happen. So I told the operator, just to cancel it and I’ll be calling another tow. I called another towing Company and he showed up after 10-15mins. Next minute I got an alert that my card was charged $49. So I called the 10-4 again. Operator says I hanged up the phone on her face and she went ahead and charged me the $49 cancellation fees which I didn’t authorized nor was aware of in the first place.
The best experience ever. Jimmy and Juan came promptly when multiple other companies were unable to help. They had my car out of the garage on the bed of the truck within 15 minutes. Can't be that! If you need towing services they are the ones to call!
I was stuck on I-80 and nick came and towed me out to the dealership. Nick was nice and very professional. I also acknowledge that the truck was very clean and well mentained meaning that they do a very good job of taking care of you. Not also that he arrived very fast and worked with safety. I recommend using them.
