Hello, I am writing to you today on behalf of my mother and my underaged sister.
Today October 17, 2025 at approximately 3-4pm my mother and sister went to the San Carlos Office Depot address “1101 Industrial Rd, San Carlos, CA 94070”
The reason behind the visit was to pick up a graphic calculator that appeared to be on clearance at the time of ordering. They received the confirmation email that their item was ready for pickup and once at the location the front clerk Alejandra proceeded to call for a manager regarding a problem with the order. At this time a manager by the name of “BRANDON” had informed them that the price on the order pick up could not be honored and proceeded to mark the order as picked up without handing them anything. When my sister proceeded to show the proof of purchase BRANDON proceeded to laugh at her and call her a liar. At this point my mother and sister were feeling threatened and intimidated due to how BRANDON kept yelling at them. My mother would then tell him that she would contact the authorities due to how he was treating them he would proceed to say “CALL THEM! As a matter of fact call 911.” At this time my mother and sister had to leave the store due to the humiliation that BRANDON had made them feel.
I truly hope that there is a change in management and that Brandon no longer disrespects anyone else the same way he did to my mother and sister.

I recently visited The Office Depot for a large order of office supplies, including printer paper, pens, and some ergonomic chairs. The staff was incredibly helpful, quickly finding the items I needed. The quality of the products is excellent, and I’ve found that their prices are very competitive. The ergonomic chairs were sturdy and comfortable, which made my employees extremely happy. The overall shopping experience was seamless, and I appreciated the value of purchasing in bulk without breaking the budget. Definitely a great place for any office needs!

recently came to this location with my partner to find chairs for our home office desk. Christian, the general manager, was extremely helpful in making sure we left with what we needed! We found a chair we liked, and had some trouble finding the boxes in stock for them, Christian helped us find it as well as ordered an additional one, as they could not find 2 units in store. He was very nice, thorough, and efficient. He also got us checked out at the service desk so that we didn't have to wait in the long checkout line. We are very satisfied with our service and products here!
The best place to print. And that’s largely due to Brandon, from the printing dept. Super helpful, 10/10 service, and you can see how much he values putting customers first. Thanks again Brandon for all your help!
Every fall teachers realize there a few things they need that will make students' transition smoother.... Office depot always has the good from calendars, to rolling carts!
I consistently get good advice and excellent service at a fair price. Office Depot is my go to place for anything related to business as well as a lot of personal projects as well.
Brandon, the store manager, was awesome. He helped me navigate a complicated print job and was there every step of the way. Minelle was very helpful as well. She fixed the printer right away when it needed attention and helped me check out with ease. I will go back for sure!
Only I wanted to say is the department of printing assistant sucks because there’s only one employee that’s help’s in the department which then they take their lunch break and wait for hours to come back but when you tell cashiers to help you in printing something for you but there respond is just wait until employee comes back also this printers suck to be honest including images don’t come out perfect so everyone coming to this Office Depot I wouldn’t recommend coming to this store but for buying products it’s ok and to top off the communication is just unprofessional
Cause of going thru alot in personal with paper work Brandon the Sales Manager helped out in the up most way I only have cash not my credit card no worries I can help you out with that Fax for some reason no working after several attempts next best thing brandons scans and emails best upmost customer service ever needs a bonus or something 100 stars not 5
The staff are extremely nice, patient, knowledgeable and provide a positive experience.
I have been going to Office Depot for years, EVERY TIME I GO, ALL the customer service representatives provided me with excellent service.
It's not often that you go into a store and the customer service reps are knoweleagble about the products they sell and able to answer questions to assist a customer. The workers there go above and beyond.
Carlos their Tech guy in the San Carlos store was amazing!! Great customer service here at this location, especially Carlos, ask for him! The other larger stores like Best Buy and Target would not give me the time of day. For stars for my experience there!!
I came in looking for supplies for a project I’m working on. A young man named Brandon asked if he could help. I told him what I needed and he did techy sweep of the inventory and ended up ordering exactly what I needed. I was extremely impressed with his demeanor and helpfulness. Next time I need office supplies I’m going to save myself some time and trouble and start with Home Depot/Office MAX!
I had to print out tickets for tomorrow’s early morning trip to the Oakland zoo, and as a procrastinator I always leave everything for the last minute, my printer was out of ink. Imagine that. Luckily Minelle was able to help me out and assist me with said task. There was some issues but was able to navigate and work our way around them. Thanks Minelle….
We really enjoy shopping in a brick and mortar store especially for major purchases like printers/scanners. The interactions with real people, being able to compare products and get recommendations is very valuable!!
The staff at the San Carlos location are very friendly and helpful. My online orders are ready quickly, and the curbside service is appreciated. As for Office Depot itself, sometimes they have really good deals on select product, but overall their prices could come down a bit.
I got great customer service at the San Carlos store. Christian answered all my questions (I needed to buy a printer) and helped me with my purchase. What a breath of fresh air my shopping experience was.
I left a personal item in the store and the cashier made sure that when I returned, the item was easy for anyone to retrieve. This item could have easily been thrown away, but they valued me and it really made my day. Thank you! Keep doing more than expected, its how the world gets kinder each moment.
We had to get a new laptop and Carlos the sales associate helped us find the perfect one. He showed us all the models we were looking at and the comparisons between each. This made it very simple for us to decide on the right unit.
The associates have good knowledge on the products they sell. Carlos is very knowledgeable especially on anything to do with computers and Apple products. He was able to give me good advice on why my MacBook was not functioning correctly. I like that the store is always well stocked and can always get help quickly. 11 am seems to be a great time to go.
What an awful customer service by that Chinese, or whatever Asian national ethnicity is, sounds like he is the manager or whatever, but very bad experience. He literally pushed us out of the store. We were looking for a new laptop and a printer, back to school, we touch the computer to feel the weight and OMG he was about to punch us in the face. What a traumatic experience, never going back to this place. Went to Best Buy and we spend the money there. Awful person.
I went to Office Depot to get some small spiral bound notebooks and an uncommon computer cable. Office Depot had good sales prices on other notebooks, but not on the sizes I needed. They didn't have the computer cable I needed but I noticed the prices on their other cables and their notebooks were very high. It's a good place to shop if your item is on sale otherwise the price is sky high.
horrible customer service, and extremely slow (a line of 5 people takes 30 minutes). I asked for a specific ink cartridge for my printer, and even handed they cashier the tag that is specific to what I need. she grabbed the wrong one which was double the price of the one I need, if I hadn't been paying attention, I would have paid double for the wrong product, and then she had the audacity to act like it was my fault.
Service was Okay. I went during black Friday for their all in one printer that was $10 With the rewards, but the rewards never registered. We ended up paying $60 instead of $10, Then I went to customer service and asked about my rewards, they said they had made a mistake and fixed it.
