Terrible customer service for Pokemon Day- event wasn’t advertised properly as only for kids. Staff were rude to adults that weren’t aware of the limitation and took satisfaction in treating adult fans as if they were scalpers. EDIT: It looks like they replied with a passive aggressive response to my review- implying reading is difficult for me when the event description can be open for interpretation and not consistent across different channels. After discussing with corporate customer support they CONFIRMED that Pokemon Day at Best Buy is intended to be for all ages. I’d understand the desire to leave cards for kids to avoid scalpers, but what is the rationale to telling actual older fans to leave without being able to participate in other means? Leaving the review up for posterity. They better not delete their response.

I purchased a Lenovo Yoga 7i 2-in-1 16” touch screen laptop for my wife. Ruben was super helpful, and he helped us find a very nice deal for the Yoga laptop (Intel Ultra 7 256V) with a $250 discount. Very happy about the purchase, as we thought about buying it online, but the in store deal is even better! Ruben was very knowledgeable and patient. He answered like 20 questions from my wife, and we were impressed by his professionalism. He also gave us a free BestBuy membership so that we have a 60-day window to return the laptop if we are not happy with it (we love the Yoga laptop so far and I think we will keep it). Wonderful product and people. Highly recommended!

I bought a printer online and I couldn't connect it to my laptop. I returned it Best Buy and they took it back even thought it was one day past the return period. Tila helped me and it was a smooth fast no hassle return. Will buy at best buy again,.

I bought a new phone at Best buy. There were significant differences in the interface between the old phone and the new one. Seilals took a great deal of time with me explaining the differences and transferring the data from my old phone to the new one. She was exceptionally knowledgeable patient and helpful.

The Best Buy in San Carlos is a fantastic place to shop. The customer service has consistently been great, and I’ve purchased several items here, including laptops, phones, and other electronics. I would like to especially recognize Michelle Langford, Customer Service at the San Carlos location. Michelle is outstanding, friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. She has assisted us several times with purchases, always helping to find the best options while also saving money through promotions and the member plan. Her ability to handle everything efficiently with such professionalism is truly commendable. Michelle’s expertise and genuine willingness to help have made every visit a great experience. I truly appreciate her support and highly recommend that she be recognized for her excellent service. I would also like to acknowledge the Geek Squad team for their helpful services. Overall, I highly recommend the Best Buy in San Carlos. The staff, service, and overall experience are consistently excellent.

Store staff was not very helpful, they were however more interested in chatting with each other by the entrance while we waited patiently for one of them to assist us at the Geek counter. Severely under trained staff !

Longstanding electronics store located off of highway 101 in San Carlos. Wide selection of TVs, gaming consoles, AV equipment, movies, appliances, and much more. The store has evolved with the times and managed to co-exist with the internet economy. Friendly and helpful staff. Large free parking lot, but beware of the many clueless pedestrians crossing the parking lot while staring at their phones…

Blast music, display printers that aren't even available at that location, and the cheapest printer they had was twice the price of what I could find online. To Best Buy, who responded to my review: go away. This is not for you. This is a place where customers can post their honest opinions about your company.

Orders always arrive late. Customer service is impossible to reach. I recently bought a computer in-store. It wasn’t available in the store so they shipped it and promised I’d get it on Saturday. They didn’t deliver on Saturday. On Sunday I got a a text saying Fedex couldn’t deliver my order, even though I was at home and the apartment complex door was open. They didn’t leave a door tag either. Called Beatbuy’s customer service just got a bot. Impossible to speak to a human. Neither Fedex nor Bestbuy knows where is my computer and when will I receive it. I won’t shop there again

This review is specifically for GEEK SQUAD who is always super duper extra wonderfully helpful to me. My latest interaction was with RICHARD. My experience with the staff at the REGULAR BEST BUY STORE has always been a bit of a crap-shoot. Some have been helpful & some have been dismissive to me and my needs.

I was picking up an online order. The store is nice and tidy. However, the lady at the register desperately needs a training in customer service. Bored, unprofessional, lethargic.

The store is nice and large, but a mistake made by the staff cost me about $5. I asked for a specific ring size, but they accidentally charged and gave me one that was twice as big. I realized it only after I had already left the store. I had to drive back, and unfortunately, my size was no longer available, so I had to return the item (thankfully, I hadn’t opened it). Because my card is in a different currency, the refund ended up costing me extra. I lost both time and money due to the staff’s lack of attention.

I have been coming to Best Buy, and this particular time to buy a new phone and i came across India in the mobile department . She was so sweet and greeted me, i had no idea what to buy and India gave me the the best recommendation. I will be back because of the great customer service i recieved!

We ordered a microwave via Best buy com to ship to San Carlos store. Order says pick up Sunday 10/19. Ordered it and on Sunday 10/19 at 15:14 the order still shows in transit. Store manager help us and says the item is in transit and he has no idea when it will be delivered also calling the Best buy online has error. Don't ever order from Best buy again just get to Best buy play with the item then order from Amazon.

Great experience at this best buy for a preorder pickup. It was for a popular game so there was quite the line for preorders when we entered, but there were about 8 employees dedicated to the preorder pickup line, so we were in and out in 5 minutes.

Really poor service. The staff here were really dismissive. The first person I spoke with at the counter was rude and dismissive, gave me the wrong information, and didn’t bother to follow up. Then another told me to wait for the manager, then disappeared. I stood there for 10 minutes before tracking the staff down myself, only to get a half-hearted response. Terrible customer service

A huge thank you to JUNIOR for his incredible assistance last week. I came in for a price match on a recent Apple Watch purchase, which seemed impossible due to a complex technical hurdles. Despite the significant obstacles, Junior didn't give up. His persistence and problem-solving skills were truly impressive. He found a way to make it happen, turning what felt like a dead end into a successful resolution. He is a prime example of outstanding customer service.

I actually went to Best Buy to recycle an old vacuum cleaner that was no longer working. The staff was very courteous, helpful and friendly. I previously bought my Android phone there and received similar excellent customer service.

Lots of changes going on at Best Buy. Several stores are upgrading the look. I was in Best Buy recently and I have never seen one so busy in the least 10 yrs. It’s nice to be able to go and test product and see it and feel it.

I was looking for a gaming headset and a guy named Ben (at the San Carlos location) came up to me asking if I needed help and helped me immediately. He was super friendly and knowledgeable. Also gave me a few laughs. I was able to find something suitable for me and he gave his honest opinions on things which I absolutely loved. I’d rather talk to someone who tells me what they’ve tried and what they like rather than someone who is just doing it to get a sale. I just wanted people to know that Ben is the GOAT! Thank you!!

They’ve truly mastered curbside pickup. I pull in, and within a minute, someone’s already bringing out my order. I can barely get through half a cigarette before they arrive—which leads me to this life hack: park, light up, enjoy a few drags, then check in. You’ll hit the timing just right. Shopping inside the store, though, can feel a bit hit-or-miss. Staff are friendly, but finding the right person for your question isn’t always easy. I once came in for a projector, but the projector guy wasn’t in that day. That said, for curbside pickup? These folks run it like clockwork.

This store needs professional carpet cleaning. Almost step on dog feces. Multiple employees just walk past it. No signs, at least to warn people to be careful. I can't imagine how staff is able to work in a place that smells like a dog shelter. It just smells bad inside compared to other bestbuys.

I have been working with Rosendo at the Magnolia department for the last two years as we have been remodeling our home. Buy online and pick up within an hour. It worked quite well. Out front there's a sign which redirects to the pick up area, which is right next to the Freeway (North). All you need is the pick up email and your DL. A quick scan, and they're back in 60 seconds with your product (for me, it was a microwave). Five stars of quick service. NOTE: They should put in a ramp at the curb for larger products that need a cart.

Best Buy has a great selection of Dyson products. I purchased a Animal V8 for $349 and this was one the best choices I made in a long time. I chose the 6 month payment option. I also walked around the store and I give thumbs up to the Best Buy drone selection.

Did you know these guys are Sodastream retailers? Neither did I. Popped in here to exchange some canisters and ended up picking up a few things for my kids. Small selection of toys/Legos. Electronic retail isn't what it used to be but you can get quality stuff here. LG OLEDs and soundbars with the latest Dolby features. Samsung soundbars with Dolby Atmos. Junk food at the impulse buy locations. Staff very helpful when approached.
