I chose this place based on other reviews and it was everything and more as they said. These guys are professionals, friendly, and efficient. I had a few questions regarding mandatory maintenance on an older 335i with 100K miles and did not want to go to the dealer. Apart from an oil and filter change, It was a relief to have my car inspected for an overall health status and informed on future possible repairs. Thank you Bimmers!!!!

I was referred to Chris (and the guys) about 8 years ago, first with a 2012 550i, and last 6 years with a 2013 M5. I've owned cars for 35+ years and Chris is the best shop manager I have ever worked with! Scheduling, estimates, and the actual work done are ALWAYS top notch! In addition, the few times I've stopped by unscheduled with a question or issue --- Chris and the guys always help me out. I look forward to taking my wife's 2022 X5-M here once it's out of warranty.

Don’t take your car here. I just purchased a used 2011 bmw x5 and the previous owner recently had a valve cover gasket replaced by this shop prior to me taking ownership.. They charged him $2000 and did a really bad job. They reused a cracked valve cover, bolts were missing and they caked rtv between the gasket and the head and bits of rtv found its way inside of the vanos solenoids and plugged them up and who knows where else.. Never use a gasket and rtv just a clean surface and fresh gasket does the job. It’s the equivalent of double gasketing an oil filter. As an avid and experienced diy car/bmw enthusiast I would rate this place a 1 star and would not recommend taking anything here. Complete rip off and very hack work. Do good work if you are going to charge outrageously high prices for a 2 hour job. I posted a photo of the valve cover I replaced myself. It took me an extra hour just to scrape all the old rtv off the mating surface. And these guys want to call themselves “bmw specialists” what a joke.
I got a pre-purchase inspection done here on a 2012 128i I was buying from out of state. They were very thorough, knowledgable, and transparent throughout the process and made me feel extremely confident buying this car without having seen it in person. Thank you so much!
I got new air strut for my 2016 BMW 7series in different car shop, and after some time I started to feel noise out of it. I called to Bimmers Service, they asked me to come for inspection. Chris was very polite, we took a car for a short test drive, after that he got me for inspection. He inspected suspension quickly and made a professional description of the problem. He charged me almost 50% less then inspection costs since he found problem quickly. Company which sold me a strut shipped the new one according to warranty.
I was very surprised by this professional and human-focused attitude to clients. Definitely recommend and would definitely come again for other works.

I once had a very tricky, intermittent problem with my convertible top. The BMW dealership could get it to work for a bit, and then it would fail. Bimmers worked on my car for several days until they got it completely fixed. Years later, it hasn't failed since.
Chris is the best! I had ordered a factory upgrade kit for my MINI and after the dealership failed to program it correctly, he was able to figure it out and get everything working. These guys also are always super helpful w scheduling, and were able to accommodate me so well. They do exceptional work and are super reasonable on pricing. I can’t recommend them highly enough and wish more shops were as friendly and helpful as they are!
Not good service but GREAT service! Always helpful so knowledgeable. I have been coming here since 2017. I went to BMW Mountain View (where I got the car from) and their quotes were insane, came here, never went back to the dealership. Chris is amazing and so are the other people. I drive from Milpitas to get my car serviced here. I trust them with everything. Never have they charged for anything unreasonable.
Things I have gotten gone here: regular maintenance, Spark Plug Change, headlamp replacement, fuse replacements, all at a fraction of dealership cost.

I've had my BMW repaired at several shops over the last 15 yrs. Bimmers is the sweet spot between quality repairs and fair pricing. The guys there have a high level of integrity and are good at what they do. I highly recommend them.

First of all, I'm a huge car guy and normally do all my own maintenance / repair work and generally feel like any shop I've ever visited was out to overcharge you and try to sell you things your car just didn't need. As someone who actively avoids dealerships and mechanics I can honestly say this shop changed my mind.
Unfortunately, my serpentine belt broke on my way to work a few weeks back and BImmers Independent was the only shop in the area open before 8am. Typically, this isn't a big deal but with my particular engine these belts can cause catastrophic engine failure by getting sucked behind the crank pulley and into the block. I didn't know how bad it was but was prepared for the worst.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by Milenko who almost immediately knew what the issue was and provided an honest and up front overview of what happened and what the potential damage could be. He assured me that they would keep me updated (they did, frequently) on the progress and he provided best and worst case scenario estimates so I wasn't caught off guard if things were really bad. He even had me talk to the mechanic (Chris) who recently repaired a similar car with the same issue they just had in a few weeks prior which ended up needing much more repair work than mine did.
They needed to replace some other parts and I asked them to take care of a few other items while they were in there and the final total was less than the original quote because they were able to finish things up a bit quicker than expected. I've never seen a shop do that before - Milenko and Chris kept their word and in doing so has made a customer for life. If I ever need any other work on my car I won't hesitate to bring it here, and you shouldn't either.
If you value high quality reasonably priced work, and honesty I don’t think you can do better than this. I have been maintaining and repairing my own BMWs for 15 years, so it’s hard for me to pay for repairs. I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty and have extremely high expectations. This shop is clean, puntual, and communicative. No pressure to repair things that don’t need to be repaired. Incredible BMW shop. I don’t think you’ll find better.

They go extra mile and not trying to sell services you do not need as dealers do. They know what they are doing and always use BMW authentic parts. Yes, it is expensive to own BMW these days but at least their prices are transparent and honest and you know your car in the hands of professionals. Highly recommend.

I used to go to Silicon Valley Bimmer in the south bay for services that are performance-related. They are good but it's a bit too far away from where I live, also the customer service was just ok. I tried several indie shops here in Peninsula and Bimmers is by far the best one. Chris and Milenko are friendly, patient, and helpful. They know what they are doing and they just make sure that your problems get solved. Chris also gave me maintenance tips on my tuned car. Highly recommended.
Bimmers just saved me over $2500! I took the car to Peter Pan BMW for some warranty work on fuel injection and had an issue with my daytime running lights. They called to tell me the fix for the light would be $2500. Brought the car back to Bimmers, my usual mechanic, to confirm that the identified issue was really justified, and they fixed the light in 5 minutes for $33! I highly recommend Bimmers, they have serviced my car for several years and i wouldn't go anywhere else.
We can't say thanks enough to Bimmers for such great service! They were able to diagnose and fix our problem in just a few hours. Their service and expertise was excellent and their caring was beyond compare. Last month we were traveling long days from southern California to Washington and had car trouble with our Mini Cooper. We were so fortunate that Bimmers was just blocks from our hotel. We took our car to Bimmers first thing in the morning and told them we really needed to leave for Washington that afternoon. Even though they were already busy, they were able to squeeze us in and get us on our way. We highly recommend Bimmers Independent Service in the San Carlos, CA area.

I’ve been working on my BMWs myself for more than 20 years. I don’t trust anyone (especially any BMW dealership) to work on my cars with the same care & attention to detail that I do.
A friend asked me to help him with his BMW, and I knew it was a can of worms so I told him to find a good independent shop that specializes in BMWs.
Milenko and the rest of the staff did such a good job resurrecting my friends 330ci, I took note.
When Peter Pan BMW did the Tataka airbag recall on my 530i, immediately thereafter the air bag light started coming on intermittently. They wanted $2100 to fix it
The repair involved recoding of some of the modules and I didn’t have the tools to do it.
I decided to give Milenko a shot at fixing this and he did it for $700.
I’m definitely coming back and I think my BMW ownership may change as now I may not have to get my hands dirty!
Milenko and the rest of the staff there are as meticulous as I am (maybe more!) and they definitely have much more expertise than I do.

Really good shop. I needed my catalytic converter replaced and wanted to use an OEM part I had sourced myself. Other shops didn't want to do it but it was no problem here. They did it quickly and it's working great.
I called Milenko on a Monday that my rear window was not working. I explained that my window rolled down but could not roll back up. He already knew what the issue was over the phone and he had the parts the next day. This tells me he's seen these issues before and knows his stuff! He repaired the window in no time. Excellent service!! I have not seen service like this in I can't remember how long. I was in and out within an hour. I HIGHLY recommend Bimmers and will definitely be back!!! Thanks Milenko!
