Bad experience with this company. Patrick Connor was the agent who set up my transaction and Monica Reyes the agent handling my vehicle transport.
I paid extra money to have my car picked up on a specific date as I was moving the very next day. The day of pickup, I received a call from Monica to tell me the transporter was delayed and to give me options of moving forward, which was to have a local transporter pick up the car on a flatbed to take to a holding location to be released the next day.
A few hours later I received a call from a transporter who was going to pick up my car at a specific location and time, which was confusing as I was under the impression the plan had changed but I assumed they worked that out to continue with the original schedule. An hour or so later I receive a call from the driver stating they will be at a different location in 20 minutes from the previously discussed time and location, which again confused me as this wasn't what we discussed but this was a closer location so I figured they just found a better spot to meet and was fine with it. Immediately after hanging up I received another call from the first person that contacted me saying their driver will be there an hour and a half from now at the first discussed meeting point. Now as you can imagine I am now extremely confused and begin questioning what is going on as I now have two different companies claiming to be under contract for my car.
The dispatcher says he will contact moveauto to figure out what is going on and suggests I do the same. I was unable to reach Monica and left a message. Meanwhile I have the driver of the other company contacting me that he is at the location waiting for me. I proceed to attempt explaining the situation to him but due to a language barrier there was some misunderstandings. I then had to speak to his dispatcher to explain the situation. So now I'm having to speak to 3 different people about my car transport that I'm paying a large sum of money to moveauto to handle.
Eventually Monica contacts me to inform me she is investigating the situation and not to release my car yet while she looks into it. Meanwhile I have these two transport companies calling me back to back relaying their frustrations to me, the customer, about how this is going down and their rightful dissatisfaction with situation. After some time Monica contacts me to explain that there was a miscommunication with moveauto and the original transport company that resulted in them opening a new contract with the second company without cancelling the previous. She then tells me to go with the original transporter, not the one who has been waiting at a location for my car. The next hour or so of my time is a back and forth between moveauto and the two transport companies with Monica then changing her mind to go with the company who has been waiting.
This entire process of back and forth calls took over 5 hours of my day while I'm preparing a massive crosscountry move the next morning. I talked to Patrick Connor again who apologized and said they would evaluate the situation once completed and assured me that the car would still arrive in time for me to start my new job, barring unforseen issues of course, and that Monica would contact me every other day to inform me of the status of my car. That did not happen. I had to reach out to Monica myself on two different occasions to find out about the status of my car, which was delayed, causing me to miss starting my new job. Monica again reiterated that they would reevaluate this transaction to "make it right."
Thankfully my car finally arrived a day after I had requested it to be delivered by. There were no issues with the condition of my car so I'm giving 3 out of 5 starts simply for my car arriving only slightly past my requested time and the car being fine. But the only extent of moveauto "making it right" was Monica confirming that I received my car with no further issues. However, I don't think I would recommend this company as their communication past Patrick was horrendous.Dec 25, 2025 -
My brokers name was Ally. Iam a transporter. She was all over the load from pickup to drop off. She was so appreciative of the job I had done for her customer. I had a little trouble understanding the pay system, and she helped me so much with the process. She is a true asset to your company. Give that girl a raise!

Was referred here by the U.S. Consumer Auto Transport Authority. Great communication, car was picked up the next business day and was delivered to me (1200 miles away) two days later. So glad I got my car fast with no damage and could return to work :)

Horrible tranport job and employees. I leave many reviews for businesses, but this is the worst experience with any business, in the past 20 years or more that I’ve had. Pick up and drop off had multiple reschedules, locations and delays. Driver kept lying to us and his dispatcher. Almost missed our plane flight because the driver came a full 24 hours LATE to pick up the vehicle. They were recommended to us by North American movers and they are not happy with theses fellas at all! It wasn’t just one or two issues that can happen with transportation, I get it, problems happen BUT…this driver screw up over and and over and over again…and then lies to us and his dispatcher about it! BOTH picking up and dropping off! It’s wasn’t just bad scheduling on the pick up OR the drop off…it was on both ends! Then he says he can’t drop off the car to our home and had to meet him at a Target parking lot in the dark, the next morning the North American moving truck larger than his transport rig, rolled up to our house on time and no issues getting down our street. Moveauto driver LIED about that too!! Never ever work with this company again. I suggest you look elsewhere for a reliable company if you need a vehicle moved. Have nothing at all good to say about them, which is sad. Very surprised they have over 4 star reviews.

This almost ended up being a nightmare for me. I signed a contract with this company to move my car from Ohio to Texas. This contract was signed nearly 6 weeks before my move and I assumed that would give them plenty of time to find a driver and coordinate pick up…however, a week out, 4 days out, down to 2 days before I was scheduled to fly to Texas, no driver had been assigned. How does that even happen? Be very careful if you choose them.

Shipped two cars with relatively low ground clearance (just over 5") with them from coast to coast on open transport. A bit more expensive than the competition, but the extra money was absolutely worth it to me for several reasons - no annoying marketing tactics, peace of mind (good reputation & insurance policies), good customer service, tighter pickup/delivery windows (saved money on rentals), *the ability to drop my car off after hours at their office* AND *have my rideshare to the airport reimbursed (something I didn't even expect)*. They even let me change a pickup location to a different location 30 mins away at no extra cost (it was on the driver's way, but still). The driver/company that they had fulfill each delivery was fantastic too. From what I've seen and heard, these guys are head and shoulders above the competition.

had a disastrous exp. w/ this co. They were sub-contracted by a reputable moving co and then they sub- contract w/ a nameless co based in OH. I have a very valuable car and trusted them. The people who moved the car barely speak English. They arr. for pick up after hrs. trying to explain where to meet. I shipped a car from the East Coast to the West Coast. Their communication was poor. There were multiple delays. They did not honor their agreement and hid behind a complicated contract. I’ve shipped cars cross country on other occaisions and never had a glitch of any sort. I fon’t know how move auto gets positive reviews but my sudpicion based on their attitude and subsequent behavior is that the reviews are fake. It’s become a very common practice. My advice would be to google best auto movers snd do your homework. There’s more than cost to consider. Do not let a moving co. sub-contract an auto shipper for you out of convenience. Find your own. There are some very reliable co’s out there. move auto is a terrible business; over priced. under qualified.
The cost of sueing them is the amt. I had to spend to have my car restored to the condition they originally received it in. Seriously- avoid this co.Sep 15, 2025 -
Had a great experience moving my car from SF Bay Area to Texas using moveauto. I dropped off the vehicle and keys on Monday morning in Burlingame, and it was delivered to my door in TX on Thursday, one day ahead of schedule. The driver was courteous and communicative on delivery, and worked out an alternative delivery plan over the phone in case the gigantic transport truck could not get into the neighborhood.
It would have taken me just about as long to drive the distance myself, with far less hassle and exhaustion, especially including hotel + gas + wear and tear. Definitely recommend!Aug 29, 2025 -
I’ve been working with Moveauto for about 6 months, and they’ve been outstanding. I send all my customers’ vehicles to them and have had nothing but positive experiences. Ashton, Alexandra, and Nathalie are always helpful, communicative, and friendly. Their pricing and timelines are always upfront and honest, which I really appreciate. 10/10 service—highly recommend!

We dropped off our car on Thursday evening in Burlingame, CA and received it in Austin, TX on Sunday morning. The whole process was smooth and fast!

My car was picked up in Monterey, California on a Monday and arrived in Jacksonville, Florida that Friday. It was an incredibly speedy experience and the cost was reasonable. This company — unlike other companies — could actually guarantee me a pickup and delivery date rather than providing a range of days. Stephanie and Jamie at Move Auto are true professionals — they were refreshingly responsive and reassuring throughout the whole process. Naturally, I had a lot of anxiety going into this so I appreciated their communication.
The guy who drove my car across the country, Richard, gave me a heads up the day of pickup and delivery re the time to expect him. He was kind enough to walk over to my car at my apartment complex and pick it up. Upon delivery, he drove my car over right to my new apartment. He didn’t have me meet him in some random parking lot that could fit a truck in the midst of my busy cross-country move which I super appreciated.
Tip: I suggest placing an AirTag in your car. It is fun to track where your car is located on the map and helps with planning purposes.Aug 07, 2025 -
Had a very positive experience with this team. They were very informative and transparent from the get-go which unfortunately was not the case with some other transport companies we looked up prior to contacting MoveAuto. The team was regularly in contact with us as we approached the transport date and we dropped off our vehicles with a sense of ease that they were in good hands.
In full disclosure, the price is a bit higher than some other transport companies we looked up but we felt what we were getting was worth the cost.Aug 02, 2025 -
There’s a lot of options to have your car shipped — don’t choose this one. They delivered what was a working automobile upon pickup with a dead battery. Even after I jumped it the car was not street worthy. It’s been at the shop for two days now as the mechanic is still trying to figure out the issue is.
To add insult to injury, they were hours slow to respond when I had to get my car towed. Then came up with this or that policy that absolves them from responsibility (as if they would agree to ship your car if one didn’t agree to each term and confition). Then they add that they’re simply a vendor who contracts with 3d parties etc etc etc.
On top of that it took a long time to deliver a now defective car. My movers picked up my stuff in VA and got it CA four full days before MoveAuto delivered a car they broke.
They don’t try and address issues that happened on their watch just evade responsibility.. Short of their driver wrecking the transport truck on the highway — and they probably would disclaim liability even then — you will on the hook if *anyjthing* is wrong with the car upon delivery.
Go with someone else.Aug 01, 2025 -
I had a great experience working with them. We moved cross-country with two cars. We had to drop off after-hours for as much as I wanted to come on time, there's always something on the last day of the move! It was a holiday weekend but the cars were delivered on time and in great condition. Very happy with their work.

Great communication and service. They say door to door but practicalities of getting a giant car carrier to most doors is tough, so most likely they’ll pick up nearby that’s semi accessible. This was no problem for me. For a friend who also shipped a car, they paid for his Uber ride. Very satisfied.

I needed a car transported from California to Washington state and this company was recommended to me by my moving company. I made contact with them. They gave me an extremely reasonable quote, and they were able to get things done very quickly. I received good communication from the driver coming to pick up my car and the driver that delivered the car. My first contact was with Brandon, and then he set me up with Monica. They both communicated with me extremely well, kept me informed and got the job done exactly as I wanted. I would never hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone who needed to have a vehicle transported.

Don’t trust them they will lie. Very unprofessional!! My driver drove from Michigan to San Diego Awana told me that the customer wanted the drivers license a copy so he could add him to his insurance. The driver delivered the truck I called her she asked for a pod I said you never mentioned us needing one she said no problem I’ll take care of it with accounting. So the customer was giving the driver a ride to the hotel but he asked him would he help him park it in a hanger. Now after I sent here confirmation and she also confirmed it with the customer the driver was on-site and delivered the vehicle my company is not liable for any thing else the customer and driver do after the broker got confirmation that the vehicle was delivered. So the customer is spotting the driver parking it in the hanger and had him turn the wrong way and trailer got scrapped and damaged but once again what’s done when the driver is off work doesn’t have anything to do with my company. 1 it’s private property 2 that’s between the individuals involved. That haven’t paid the driver spent 1500 getting there.

I recently got two cars transferred from CA to PA, one was picked up from home, one was dropped off at this office in weekend night. Both were delivered within 4 days (yes, so fast) smoothly. I am extremely satisfied about the communication, setup, delivery with support from Monica. You can definitely find better price elsewhere, but this will let you be peace of mind for sure! Highly recommended!

I was so happy with my experience from start to finish. Thorough discussion about the company, great pickup and drop off and outstanding regular communication throughout the process to keep me updated. My car went in a closed van and arrived in exactly the same condition as it left. Arrived on time. Can’t ask for more

I had an excellent experience with Move Auto Transport when moving my car to San Antonio, TX. From the start, Patrick Connor was professional and helpful during our initial contact, providing clear details and ensuring everything was set up smoothly. Throughout the process, I had multiple interactions with Monica in the office, who was always responsive and kept me informed every step of the way. She coordinated the drop-off and delivery seamlessly, making sure the timing worked out perfectly. The car arrived in great condition, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. Highly recommend their team for anyone needing reliable and efficient car transport!

I had a big move from San Diego to Norfolk. Selling my home was challenging, and I had to cancel on this company twice. Frankie was wonderful! He was patient and understanding of my situation. I finally used them a little over a week ago, and all the staff exceeded my expectations. From getting text messages from Kayla updating me on dates and wanting to know how i am doing, to pick up with Jun in San Diego, to the drop off by Scott in Norfolk. Everything was smooth, and what you expect from a class act auto moving company. I appreciate all the help and professionalism from this company and will continue to recommend them to anyone moving instate or out of state.

I am in the military and needed a vehicle transported to my new home. The driver arrived the earliest day they projected, he called a day before hand, called before showing up. I couldn't ask for anything better. Not only that, I ended up falling behind in my travels and the vehicle was going to arrive a day before I got there. I painlessly talked with the Transport Coordinator and what I thought was going to be a huge headache ended up being painless. The Transport Coordinator got in contact with the driver, changed the plan for him to drop off the vehicle at a local Walmart (my decision) and I was lucky enough to have had my sponsor their to pick up the keys. Which I think he could have also dropped it off without anyone being there as long as I gave consent, which I didn't know they could do but in the end, know that made life so much easier. All of that was planned out the night before, through text, 8pm on a Friday or Saturday. My car was the exact same as when I left it. Nothing visual, I followed their directions and closed all air vents inside the car before the travel so there were no smells in the car - everything just worked out wonderfully. Moveauto went above and beyond, specifically with the driver and the Transport Coordinator. A+! Will use again.

After calling and quoting many brokers, most car shipping companies are brokers, MoveAuto was recommended by a trucker (Golden Key Express, which is also highly recommended, too). Unfortunately, I couldn't use Golden Key due to timing, but he recommended MoveAuto. I talked to Stephanie, and she was amazing she got me a quote right away, and it wasn't too expensive (California->New Jersey). They worked with me on a pick-up day and delivery day, I wanted a certain day, which isn't guaranteed, but they said they would do their best to deliver around that day. Their agents gave me updates. When the delivery happened on the day I wanted, I had to go to the shopping center because the street I lived on didn't allow trucks over a ton. Due to traffic the delivery time was delayed but that couldn't be helped. When my vehicle arrived, it was in good condition and had no scratches. Definitely will use it again.

I had a very tricky/challenging transport that went perfectly with Moveauto. I had been working with Patrick Connor of Moveauto for some time and I fianlly got an opportunity to work with him. I have been in logistics for over 30 years and I am hard to impress because I expect and deliver nothing but the very best all over the world. When it came time to move a personally owned vehicle, I turned to Patrick and his team. I purchased a custom built trike with a big 3.8 liter V6 engine from a close veteran friend to help him and his family in their big moment of need. He was battling with cancer and I had relocated half way across the US. The vehicle move was complicated on multiple levels. Trikes are typically difficult to load unless proper ramps are available. This one was massive being12' long. The other complication was trying to arrange a pickup time. The owner was in and out of hospitals and doctor apopointments (both planned and unplanned). This necessitated two pick-up schedule changes and associated hardships for Moveauto. I was the "bad guy" stuck in the middle but everyone calmed right down and worked with me and then finally ... all the stars algined, the trike was loaded behind a new Aston Martin and delivered a day early to my by a super nice driver that earned himself a nice $220 tip. Now the trike sits in a barn needing a lot of work but the difficult part is now over Many, Many Thanks to Patrick and their transport coordinator, Kayla Clonce as this all worked perfectly.

We were referred to move auto from my house move vendor for my car shipping. Frankly, did not even check their reviews before confirming the move order. Patrick helped with the initial quote and details and then Ofa took over the actual move process. It was a pleasure to work with them and the driver was in constant touch before the move to ensure the timing is fixed. A 1000 mile move and delivery was in 3 days. Couldn’t ask more.

Awful experience. Soon after I dropped the car off at their location a truck transporter gave me a call asking to come pick up the vehicle. The vehicle was in moveauto's hands and it was their responsibility to coordinate transport, not mine. It was their one only job as a broker.
Several days later I then got an alert that the tire had extremely low tire pressure. I reached out to my coordinator and she said she'd look into it. She gave me no update on the matter. When the vehicle arrived (14 days later!) I took it to a shop to investigate and they identified the tire had been punctured. This must've happened while on their property still because the truck didn't pick it up until later.
I have now been trying to get a hold of them for a while but they refuse to answer calls or respond to messages. Do yourself a favor and stay away. One of the worst services I've ever had in transporting a vehicle.Aug 21, 2024 -
MoveAuto took a overwhelming experience to a great one. I worked with Stephanie to get my 2016 Honda CRV shipped from Washington, DC to Seattle. I was not in any rush and got the car in 11 days. I could not be happier with the process. It was smooth, communication with Stephanie, Monica, and and the driver Zach was great. I was really happy with the price point as well. I had heard about companies that keep charging for extra costs, but that was not the case for me. One and done. Thank you so much! (Picture below of when I got my car to Seattle. They delivered it at 5 AM, earlier than expected, but so pleased with the seamless process)

Was at first skeptical about auto move companies but happened to find this one and did some research on it. Very trustworthy company and also fast shipping (ships within 2-3 days depending on your location). I was shipping my car from Texas to Bay Area round trip and they all had amazing communication ensuring that my car was en route. Frankie was great and had excellent customer service along with Monica and Kayla. They make sure your car is delivered in good condition and that you check for any damage prior and after delivery. Great price for their service and they don't try to scam you in any way.

If you are looking for a trustworthy company to transport you car, I did a fair amount of research and ended up using All American Trucking and Transport. Be aware there are some other companies out there trying to use their name. This my first time shipping a car, and it was from coast-to-coast, so I did a fair amount of due diligence in identifying a company that had good reviews from real people. I must have spoken to about 15 different companies, some claimed to be half the price, however as soon as I looked them up and read their reviews, I found that they were all about bait-and-switch and previous customers had horrible experiences. I even went to BBB to check them out and found again some really discouraging information. I ended up choosing All American and paid a couple hundred dollars more, but they picked up the car on schedule and it only took them 6 days to get the car delivered to me. I would highly recommend them.

DO NOT TRUST THEM!!
We used All American Transport Inc in Burlingame, CA to move our two cars from Seattle to Miami.
I had used Reindeer Auto previously but I'm from the Bay Area so I thought I would give them the business.
Communication prior to our move was good: pricing, quotes, timing. We chose a 1-day pick-up in an enclosed container for my wife's Tesla and a 3-day pickup in an open container for my Toyota truck.
When moving Day came the local agency was West Coast Auto Transport Service from Spokane, WA. They picked up the car without incident.
On delivery day for the Toyota the driver called at 6pm saying he would deliver at 9pm. I suggested that would be too late. He begged and pleaded and explained he needed to go to Tampa the following day. I finally relented and received the car in the dark....
The following morning, I was able to inspect the car to find a huge dent to the rear spoiler of the truck. I've taken it in for an estimate- $1,400!! My car isn't perfect and has a lot of small chips & scratches but is otherwise in good cosmetic shape. When I contacted All American to explain the situation, they first claimed that 'forensics' would dictate that the damage could not have happened as it was 'asymmetric'. Then after I encouraged them to contact West Coast Auto Transport to find the person who picked up my car- they declined and denied my claim for damages. They then suggested I contact my insurance company...
DO NOT TRUST THEM!!
Do yourself a favor- find another company to move your car!Aug 14, 2017
