So I purchased a 2026 Subaru Forrester from Putnam Subaru on Saturday, December 13 I dealt with Miguel and I had come to the Subaru dealership purely because Miguel and his Customer Service ethics the day prior I had spent four hours at a Toyota dealership in Livermore, this was not a great experience. They didn’t have the car I wanted they misled me about the pricing as well as the end payment for a lease. They also tried to give me to purchase a completely different car that I did not want and this led me to take a look at my text messages where I noticed that Miguel had texted me back from a few days before I decided to give Miguel a call to see what he could do to get me into a Subaru I was only trying to save a little money at Toyota. I know my mistake so in my conversation with Miguel he was very informative. He was helpful. He was professional and I didn’t feel like he was a salesman at all. I felt like he was someone who was just telling me how it is and trying to give me the best deal possible on the Subaru. I wanted to thank him for all of his hard work as well as Ricardo, who walked me through the new settings of the Forrester, which I didn’t know before, and they both did an excellent job. They’re very professional and helpful. I would definitely go here again to purchase a Subaru and I live in Modesto California by the way.
Bought an Outback Onyx trim from Miguel. Of all the dealerships I inquired with, Miguel’s dealership had the best price and I didn’t want any dealer/manufacturer add ons (I could buy them separately and install most of them myself for way cheaper) My husband and I drove up from Orange County to buy this car once we finalized the OTD price in writing. We were in and out in less than two hours, which is fast if you know the car buying process. Have been a service customer for a decade. Wanted to stay loyal to Putnam. Horrible disappointment. Bait and switch sales tactics that included good cop - bad cop. Took away our trade in keys to prevent us from leaving in disgust. Service center is expensive, but the experience is great. Don’t even think about sales. From now on it’s Carvana for me.
The service team massively exceeded my expectations. I had an unexpected electrical failure in my Impreza late in the afternoon before an important morning trip. The service manager understood that I was in a tight spot and worked to get a technician available. They diagnosed the fault and fixed it within an hour! It was friendly small-town service in the middle of the Peninsula.

He was able to pull some magic within days and arranged the test ride. He even prepared the docs, so I could test drive, sign and pick up the car in 3 hours. He knew I wanted the OEM skid plate, so he's gone above a beyond to hook me up with their Service Center for a quote. This is my second Subaru purchase, and both times I had the pleasure of working with Miguel Reyes.
