This place is in my opinion very very unprofessional. Got some work done and will NOT be back! Be warned!

These guys are the best!! Knowledgeable professional courteous and friendly...I got myself in a bit of a jam trying to fix something myself and they jumped right in and took care of it for me...and on labor day no less

Unfortunately they weren't able to help me due to the fact that their equipment couldn't smog a 2009 diesel engine. They were however very helpful by recommending a shop that could.

I went to get a smog which failed due to monitors which is a very easy check prior to doing a smog. They can easy tell if the smog will fail but will run it still just to take a quick $50. Front lady was a jerk about it too. Find another place for a smog!!

They legit left my oil cap off and I didn’t realize until I got home. Was sitting on battery

Brought my Jeep Grand Cherokee in. They did a very poor job and it cost me over 3 grand. After the repair, the problems were still there. And in addition, they broke something and we also had to pay for it! Very rude and unfriendly.

Tried getting my vehicle in for a smog on a Saturday, called multiple times with no answer. At the time, I lived next door so I walked down to inquire in person. Guy working said he doesn't answer any phones, and only takes calls on his personal cellphone. He also said he only takes cash on Saturdays, since he isn't "authorized" to use the card reader. Seems shady at best, and is very likely the guy there is working off the books. Not worth taking any vehicle to, especially if something goes wrong. They've done decent (albeit expensive) work on another vehicle of mine, but they were so disorganized that they almost lost all of my DMV paperwork that was associated with the vehicle, and also neglected to put a service tag on my windshield after the oil change.

This business is by far the most dangerous business to take your vehicle to. According to all the employees and the owner it is absolutely the best place most professional and most trustworthy shop in the area. It is also spoken very highly of by the owner and workers but when you get your bill and realize that you've been charged for them doing nothing according to a 25-second diagnostic you see that you have been bamboozled. This shop was previously located in another location and claims to have been in business for 30 years using a Bosch professional diagnostic scanner which ensures to scan any vehicle in its entirety in 25 seconds or less but are charging people for multiple hours. After video surveillance of time invested on said vehicle, it is assured that this shop is not the most honest. Video footage of time spent on diagnostic on a certain vehicle ,that was charged 2 hours was only looked at for 16 minutes. Shame shame....... on beachfront Auto and smog. I promise Justice will be served on this one..... Brace yourselves BEACHFRONT AUTO..... A time lapse video of time invested, with be posted in the future.... Got ummm!!!!!

They quoted me $1,300 to stop a fuel leak in my filter housing. A $50 new cap fixed it, there was nothing wrong with the housing. They are hoping you don't get a second opinion. Get a second opinion or don't go here.

I had my vehicle towed to the shop and spoke with the new owner Mike, seemed very nice and knowledgeable. He's daughter was working in the office, also seemed polite at the time. I received a phone call from the daughter 2 days later which was okay. I wasn't in a hurry. She began giving me the estimate of repairs. I kindly asked, if I could wait on one of the repairs. She then transfered me to Sharon I believe that was her name. Sharon advised me that both repairs were needed at this time. Then I asked if it's possible if I could buy the parts and save a couple hundred dollars. She sure but "I NEED THE PARTS IN 15 MINUTES OR I'M PUSHING YOUR CAR OUT!!" I told I couldn't make in 15 minutes but I could be there in 30 minutes. So I arrived at the parts store to pick up and pay for them. The clerk said they had already delivered the parts to the shop. So I called the shop and spoke with Sharon, because I was confused. I explained to her that the parts were delivered and it was the only ones they had in stock. Her reply was "FORGET IT, JUST COME AND PICK UP YOUR TRUCK. I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS!!!" The clerk was able to locate the parts at another location and have them delivered later in the day. So I went to the shop to confront Sharon of her rudeness attitude, and told her the parts will be in this afternoon. I picked up my truck 2 days later, walked in and paid. No communication, no thank you straight out nothing. Take your service to Tom's in Arroyo Grande!!

My go to spot anytime I need work done on my car! They are always so helpful! Today specifically. I have been havjng issues with my headlights I brought my car in this morning and they were kind enough to fit me in and fixed the issue with in 30 minutes! Great service, friendly and reliable!

These guys have done my commercial vehicle and my private car. They have excellent stars which is a reason why I went to them in the beginning and then I learned why. They have amazing prices and friendly satyr did not treat you like you are a nobody if you don’t know what’s wrong with your car. I’ve been to many places where they condescend you and try to act like they are superior. These guys are good to you you can count on them.

Fast , professional and reasonable prices. I was worried after the 76 station quit doing smog certification. I was with them for over thirty years. Beach front are my guys now. I'll be giving them my other business as well and see how that goes. For now they're it 👍

These guys have always treated me great, other shops were over charging me for the same thing. This shop is reliable and fair. I have friends who take their company fleets here for service as well other friends who take their personal cars here. I've never heard a bad thing about this place. One huge perk, i lived down the street from the shop and they would drive me home after i dropped my car off. I don't think that's a regular thing that's offered either , they were just being kind .

They were very friendly and fast! Very knowledgeable. They do everything there! They even told me my truck had a recall part and what it was and to go to the dealer so they will fix it for free! I wish I knew about them sooner! I am not going anywhere else in Pismo Beach area, ever again! I’m there customer from now on!

The 2 customers ahead of me appeared to be happy with the work performed and the kindness and courtesy they received. I also had a courteous and professional (and fun) conversation with the gentleman behind the counter. The work was quick and well done.

Staff was pleasant and very helpful. I was able to get appointment for smog test within an hour of call. I was in and out in 30 minutes. I would recommend them and plan to return for my next oil change.

Beach Front Auto is staffed with wonderful people who are professional and knowledgeable. They have helped me out with multiple vehicles and always do great work (that they back). I’ve used them from oil changes and smog checks all the way to AC repair and total brake replacement. I trust them and would highly recommend this business for your vehicle needs. Hand downs the best auto shop in the area. Amazingly kind guys, we spent quite few hours having some issues with our camper van and with our 3 year old girl, not only it didn’t bothered to them but they gave her coloring books, the remote control to see some cartoons and even French fries! If you have this service you will think that they will overcharge people but was the opposite, first time that a car shop doesn’t want to rip off this traveler family and we are more than thankful!

I was referred here by a friend. The mechanics I went to for an oil change told me I needed new brakes. The quote was expensive so I wanted another quote. John was so nice and they looked at my brakes . He gave me measurements and told me I have Atleast 10,000 miles on these brakes. Well thank goodness I came in here. Honest ! Mechanic! How refreshing, I recommend highly, nice business!!

I came here for a pre purchase inspection on a used vehicle. John was very helpful, informative and professional. He was able to get me in same day!!! Amazing! I am so appreciative to them for their help. The price was reasonable and Jessica also was very kind. I was referred to Beach Front Auto by a friend. John and his staff were very welcoming, good with scheduling and accurately estimated the job. I highly recommend this shop. I'll be bringing my work truck for future repairs. I brought it in for an alignment and front tires, knowing darn well i needed ball joints, tie rod ends, pitmam arm etc. I'm a mechanic in a different industry, more than capable of changing everything myself, but I'm extremely busy and don't have an alignment machine. So to save time and get it all done at once, i took the recommendation and had Beach Front Auto get me back on the road quickly. They used top quality parts, got the job done right, the first time! I'm happy with every aspect of the service and they're all very friendly and personable. I put a ton of miles on my truck every year, so this is part of routine maintenance for what i do, carrying heavy loads constantly, driving off the paved roads and long distances. I feel very confident in their ability, was impressed with their nationwide warranty and tow coverage. Looking forward to future business with these guys. Too bad you can only give 5 stars. Awesome group of people there I was very satisfied and happy because my car passed smog the smog ref was awesome I was curious on what the numbers meant and he was nice enough to take the time and tell me I highly recommend

I've always had great experiences with beach front auto. I've had tune ups, oil changes, and smogs. Usually get through them in a timely manner. Staff is always nice and helpful. New location has a much roomier waiting area which was nice plus a bathroom.

I went there on a suggestion from a friend of mine Skip. I have never been to their business before. When I arrived they took all of my information on my truck that needed to be smoged for the upcoming registration. They told me it would be $49 dollars total. The connected it to the computer and 5 minutes later they told me it passed with no problem. I went to the office to pay, and get the report for the DMV, and they told me it would only be $43 dollars because they added a coupon for being a first time customer!! I will return, and pass along my satisfaction with their services!! Plus they were very friendly!

Great group of guys providing quick service. Needed a smog check from an actual Star certified station and these guys are one of the very few in the area. These guys were great to deal with, taking me as a walk in and having me back on the road in less than 15 minutes. Unfortunately I'm not from the area, otherwise I'd come to these guys for the rest of my automotive needs. Thanks for the great service!

Jon and Cora knew me right away, by name! It has been a few months since I've been there (August of last year) so that was amazing to me! They are always very nice and attentive. I like that they always understand that if you're not there for a routine appointment they make you feel important which in turn makes you feel better. They always offer to give you a ride home and/or pick you up to make getting back home or to work easier. I also really enjoy the fact that they GIVE you a printed out estimate of what they are going to do and then call you to get the go ahead to do it! Everyone there is always very kind and helpful.
