I am usually reserved in my comments, this is an industry without integrity. I am retired and asked them if they ever needed any help with euro cars, they took my phone # but failed to mention they DO NOT accept BMW or AUDI or any European automobiles.
I wont recommend them due to not telling me the truth when I had my car smog tested and offered my assistance.
Mark is very polite and professional. Came in for a serpentine belt tensioner and water pump on a Toyota Rav 4. Great service and job well done. Thank you Vic’s Garage.
These guys are freaking awesome, they didn’t have availability when I drove up. But the owner still took time to check my car for free and identified the problem fast. Let me borrow a battery to go get a new one at no charge. If you want service that goes above and beyond, don’t go anywhere else. Thank you so much!
My children, grandmother and I were traveling to a funeral and stopped here with a possible tire pressure problem. They told my grandmother she needed 4 new tires(4 month old tires in great shape) and new boots. The mechanic at home had cleared all this before we left home 3 hours away. We stayed overnight to get another opinion in the morning.
The other shop explained it was the temperature change effecting the tire pressure light. Filled the tires for free and we were on our way, 3 hours after the funeral.
The stuff nightmares are made of.
Don’t risk it.
I have had THE BEST experience that I have ever had with an auto shop at Vic's in Valley Center. From the first time I called and Mark answered until the last moment I had with Mark helping me, it was not only a good experience but was actually enjoyable. Mark explained everything to me with a smile everytime I went there and one day I went there 5 times. I was quite the problem child and he never made me feel like I was a bother. THANK YOU MARK AND VICS GARAGE!
We thought we were going to have to have our car towed into Vics auto repair shop , we got there just in time cause he was closing up shop but we needed to let him know that we were having our car towed to his shop he was real nice guy ,very polite he told us where to put the car ect.... Hours later we are still waiting for the tow truck, i told my husband to go try to start the car one more time...it started up , it was the alarm key under the dash he hit with his knee but didn't see the light blinking till it got dark at least I spent those four hours with my hunny.
Best automotive service I have had in years. Honest,dependable and reasonably priced. Even fixed a problem other than the one I brought my car in for..at no charge! ( squeaky belt)
I drove by many times and am having trouble getting repairs done so engine light will go out and I can get truck smogged. I went in told them my problem and fellow I think the owner said well let’s look and see what the code is so he plugged in to computer. Found code looked at truck called other mechanic over and the two of them fijxed problem that others couldn’t. I now have to drive a 100 miles and take back for smog. They didn’t charge me for the quick fix. But that’s not the reason I am so impressed with this place they care and are amazing at their craft. Thanks guys I’ll be in later this week for smog. Appreciate the both of you for helping me!!!!
Great guys. Worked hard to correct my issue and determined my vehicle would be better served at a custom suspension shop. Then they didn't ask for compensation for their time spent. That was awesome!
I was referred to Vic's garage and I was not disappointed he changed the part for free and told me the exact issue that I had he did the code reading and told me it was something else this place is awesome it's a throwback to the good old days they were honest and you don't find that these days I will be taking my car there soon again thank you very much Vic's garage
I’ve known Mark, Dave and Josh nearly 2 years in the time I have been employed with O’Reilly Auto Parts, they are my go to choice with repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics! Reasonable prices especially with labor! I’ve had all calipers, brake pads and rotors on all 4 corners on my moms 09 Accord and have told me any type of areas of concern that I should keep an eye on if any, which ended up being the front calipers due to uneven brake pad wear, thanks guys! For my 2018 Accord, it has just been basic maintenance with the oil, CVT Fluid, and any types of fluids that are suggested!

My car started making weird sounds so I drove into Vic's to see if they knew what was wrong. I was expecting the absolute worst. But 30 minutes later they had it fixed. I'm going in for a smog check next week.

Nice guys, smog took longer tech wasn't there for 10am appointment so had to wait for him to return. Other that I would recommend the repair shop when they are not full with vehicle's needing repairs at that is what smog told me after my smog test because my car was running a little roughly maybe a Vac link.
Awesome. Dropped by without an appointment for a diesel smog test and Mark took me in right away, performed the test quickly, and was extremely professional and personable!
