First of all the work was excellent. My Maverick came out perfect. This company was a pleasure to deal with. It’s rare you call a business and they answer the phone on the first ring and are all ways available and never put you on hold. I dealt with Ed what a great guy very professional but when you leave, you feel like you’ve been friends your whole life. I highly recommend this company.

Ed was fantastic to work with—kind, professional, and very communicative throughout the repair process. He kept me informed of progress and any delays, and my car looked great when I picked it up. One small area for improvement is vehicle readiness at pickup. When I received my Tesla, the battery was at 15%. Normally this wouldn’t have been an issue, but I had a doctor’s appointment immediately afterward, which made things stressful. As a suggestion, placing vehicles on the charger overnight when they’re scheduled for next-day delivery would help ensure a smoother pickup experience. Overall, I had a very positive experience and especially want to recognize Ed for his excellent service.

This was my first repair for my Tesla, and I was a bit confused about what to expect. However, Ed made my experience exceptional. He was incredibly helpful, answering all my questions and providing valuable advice. Thanks to him, I had a great experience.

I was sent here because my insurance (USAA) required an estimate from an approved shop. My first visit was acceptable. The second visit was not. The technician was rude, dismissive, barely inspected my car, and produced an unrealistically low estimate that did not reflect the actual repairs needed. Once I mentioned I planned to take my car to my dealership, his attitude clearly changed. Advice to others: don’t mention going elsewhere — they don’t like it. This shop appears to work in the insurance company’s best interest, not the customer’s. I do not recommend this repair shop. Do your own research before choosing them

I received updates daily. Ed was fantastic and also kept me updated during the process. My car was completed quickly with excellent results. The Fix Auto shop in Santee is the one I will return to and recommend.

I brought my Ford Taurus in and Manny was EXTREMELY HELPFUL!!! He remembered our conversation from a few months back and he is a man of his word. He fixed my drivers side door weather molding where the clasp broke. I was in and out within 15 minutes. I highly recommend this shop because they have the most honest folks working here. Manny and Ed are open and honest and will always hold true to their word. Hopefully I will not need an auto collision shop anytime soon… BUT IF I DO, I will definitely be taking my car to the Fix Auto in Santee. Thank you once again, Jill Eaton

This place is where I will go from now on for any body/paint work. It was on the USAA-approved list of repair shops (which says a lot already), so we took our damaged car here. Not only was it done a day earlier than promised, the work and customer service was top-notch. In an industry that regularly leaves its customers frustrated or angry, this shop sets itself apart. We were only pleasantly surprised.

The best repair shop I’ve ever been to. I discovered them through my dealership they recommended I go to Fix Auto Santee. So happy with the outcome it looks brand new and she drives great. Customer service is wonderful Ed was amazing at always keeping me informed about the process with my vehicle and always answered any questions I had in detail. My car was done when promised, I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family if they needed somewhere to repair their car.

Ed is amazing!! I went several other places for an estimate to fix my van and their estimate was half of what I was quoted other places! Absolutely reasonable and they're not going to quote you for work you don't need. The staff is honest and friendly. The service is FAST and great quality! I'd take my vehicle back here any day.

I recently had my son's car repaired at Fix auto in Santee,, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. They did an amazing job on the repairs, and everything turned out beautifully. Not only was the quality of work top-notch, but their communication throughout the process was excellent. They kept me informed every step of the way, and the car was ready right on time. They also assisted with my car rental. They dropped me off to pick it up and they dropped the car off for me. Highly recommend them!

Very pleased with Auto Fix . Manny explained & answered ALL my questions. He told me he would take good care of my Honda. He went above & beyond my expectations. The Honda looks new. Took my car here for body work and paint repair after being hit by an uninsured driver. My insurance recommended them and they definitely deserve the recommendation. Excellent work, great communication, and super to deal with. 10 out of 10 recommend. My car looks brand new.

My experience was A+. This was second time for minor repair work. Mannie did the estimate & took it from that point to completion. All work was covered under comprehesive insurance. I give Mannie & Santee FiXAuto a 5 star rating.

I took my truck to fix auto Santee and they did a very nice job on it. It needed a lot of work on the right side, the repair was done very nice and the paint was perfect. The staff was very professional and honest. If I ever need body work again I will have it done at Fix Auto Santee.

Great daily communication while they had our car. Very honest about any changes to pricing or fixes. The guys in the shop were very personable over the phone and when I went in as well. Although we ended up there through an insurance claim after being hit, I’d absolutely use them again by our own choice.

Fantastic customer service working with Ed and picking up from Manny. Office staff was great and answered my questions. Helped me out by installing new headlights while the bumper was off for repairs. Hooked me up with getting my remaining 3 rims reconditioned to match the one damaged in the accident. This team is top notch and I will be referring people to them.

I’m insured by State Farm and upon seeing this damage to my Audi TT, I contacted my agent and was given 15 State Farm approved body shops that I could take my vehicle to. Course here in California I can choose legally to take it to any shop I want to. But, I went through the painstaking efforts to take this vehicle either through scheduled appointments or driving to their locations just to be denied that they will not work on the car! The number one excuse, I heard, the car is too old. Most of the body shops told me they don’t work on cars, older than 2015! I contacted my agent after a week of brutality with trying to get the car repaired and my agent replied that in this climate today, they’re totaling a lot of cars because they can’t get parts for them. Well, that hasn’t stopped the insurance company from continually raising the premiums citing higher material and labor cost, but yet their approved shops don’t work on the cars? Must be nice to cherry pick the work so perhaps State Farm should investigate these approved shops. I’m back to the original story though, I received a message on my phone late one day to return a call back to one of the shops that had denied my repairs. Now this is chain of body shops here in the San Diego called Fix It. I called the following day back to the supplied number and found that it was only an appointment scheduling center, and they would not let me talk to the actual shop which by the way was completely on the other side of town. I explained I did not want to drive all the way there just to be told the same thing that two other of their shops had told me they would not work on the car. A few days later, I had an opportunity to just drive the car there and I was met by a very polite gentleman named Manny. He asked if he could see the car and open the car door and take a couple of photos for which of course I replied yes. We went back in the office and he said would you like to leave the car today? Of course I did not have a return ride home so I decided I would bring it the following day and they said they would need the car for approximately 10 days. Well to no surprise based on the limited amount of damage & no parts are involved they only needed the car three days plus the fact that they’re not open on the weekends and the Labor Day holiday (less than 6 days) when they had it ready to get back to me. The total repair bill was a little over $800, so minus my $500 deductible. I got my car back and it looks as good as it did before the damage. I found out that this Fix-It Auto body and repair chain is franchised and individually own. Shame on the businesses in all of La Mesa and the Lemon Grove area that are State Farm approved body shops that turned my claim down because the car was too old. I’ll be mentioning them separately by name on a separate review on Google & Yelp. I had to drive clear across town to another State Farm approved body shop that would actually repair the car and do a wonderful job. A clean & professional operation from my first experience there.

I got into an accident at work a few months ago and originally went through my own insurance. Fix Auto was the closest auto shop covered by my insurance at the time. Manny was super helpful and suggested that I go through my coworkers insurance since I was the claimant. Once insurance was sorted out, the shop fixed the entire side of my vehicle so that it looks brand new again! Manny and Ed were friendly and helpful. I'd recommend Fix Auto to anyone needing auto services.

My truck was hit at work while parked. I previously had work done at John’s Collision which was in the same location as what is now Fix Auto. I had high hopes that the quality would be the same. It was! Manny is a great service advisor with great communication. The quality of work is excellent!

So, my insurance took my vehicle to Fix Auto Santee and they did a horrible job on the repairs. After 4 months in the body shop I went back to Fix Auto Santee about 3 times because they told me my vehicle was done and ready, which it wasn’t. So I feel that they would not do anymore repairs to my vehicle because they quoted my insurance a set price without really checking the damage to my vehicle. They took my vehicle to Tire Choice Auto Service in Santee do the alignment but I don’t think they did a good job cause my steering wheel still vibrates, I believe they should have take to a actual steering and suspension mechanic. Also they charge me extra from my deductible for replacing two tires that were damage from the accident, Fix Auto used a different texture on the lower side of the driver and passenger doors it doesn’t look nothing like the original. My child safety lock is not even on the door they did repairs on, so I can’t engage the child safety lock. The information stickers from the dealer that should be on the driver side door aren’t there anymore. My tire pressure light came on this morning even though I have all 4 new tires. And to top it off my steering wheel vibrates so much when I reach 65 mph. Fix auto Santee told that it should go away after I replace the back tires. But it didn’t the vibration still there. I don’t feel safe driving my vehicle anymore on the road with my kids on board. I do not recommend Fix Auto Santee.
