Helpful and friendly A real fix it garage that helped with an alarm immobiliser issue

After receiving my vehicle back from the dealership after three weeks with no improvement, I sought the services of this establishment. They were able to diagnose and resolve the issue within a matter of hours. I highly recommend their services. Their pricing is reasonable. I intend to bring my vehicle to this establishment for most of my repairs.

Was in a desperate situation and they took full advantage. Charged me a grand to swap out a sensor on top of the engine that had 4 bolts. Watched a video of a guy doing the same thing from start to finish, took 18 minutes. Part from the dealership was 100 bucks. Best thing is even after they were done it still didn't run right. Took it to another shop to swap the second sensor on the opposite side got out of there for 250 bucks including parts and diagnostic. I highly recommend looking around first before coming here. Just a joke.

Good service, however, extremely expensive pricing for a fairly simple break pad change. Unfortunately I was hoping to find a reliable mechanic with decent pricing. I was charged $780 for the service.

New to Oside and needed a new alternator installed. Just picked these guys from Google reviews and it worked out well. They got the job done within 2 hours on short notice for a fair price. Will be back. Thanks guys!

San Luis Rey Auto has worked on both of our cars in the past couple of months. They have fast service, very knowledgeable mechanics, and reasonable and upfront pricing. We are very happy with their service and will keep coming back.

These guys are awesome quick honest and reliable. Fuel filter replaced in less than 20 minutes. Engine light fixed in less than five. (Fuel cap was loose)

They are awesome they are very reliable trustworthy get the job done no hassles I will keep going to them over and over again I recommend them highly for a great job well done

Excellent service! These guys are always very fair, reliable, and honest. They are not a service shop to take advantage of you or find things to “fix” that don’t really need to be fixed. We always feel comfortable bringing our vehicles to them. We know we can trust them!

Great experience with oil change

Jonathan is great to work with. Prices are reasonable and there’s no up sell or issues with them trying to get you to get stuff done that doesn’t need to be fixed. I’ve began taking my Mom’s car to San Luis Rey Auto Service after she went to a well-known AAA rated repair shop for an oil change and they said her Toyota Yaris needed over 2k of repairs. It has relatively few miles so I had my doubts and we decided to do some comparison-shopping. Jonathan checked her car and charged a fraction of what the bigger place would have didn’t try to get us to do any unnecessary work. We’ve since gone back and continued to get great service. There’s a lovely restaurant / bakery next door and even though we’re not local we’ve found its more than worth it to wait and have San Luis Rey Auto Service do any needed repairs.

Super nice, honest work. Good price and professional. I will be a customer for life!

I've gone to these guys several times for two of my cars. They are willing to work with you and are a very nice bunch. From oil changes to belt replacements I've had a solid 4 experiences with this company!

Great customer service from a local family business. Turned my 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 4D for engine repair, oil change, and tire rotation at 1pm and received it back in great condition by 6pm. Military friendly.

I was a bit taken back at the location but was very happy with the service I received here. You can tell they care about their customers. And they weren't trying to 'get over' on me. Highly recommended. I will go back.

Dependable, honest, and knowledgeable. Fast service and fair prices. I took my 2006 mitsubishi lancer evolution to them for a starting issue after being turned away by two other shops saying they "couldn't figure it out" and these guys not only took care of it but they took care of it fast. this shop is a hidden gem and i now only go to them for car repairs. Wish i could give more than 5 stars. Highly recommended.

Great little shop owner and mechanics are very honest and real. They will work with you and are happy to suggest what needs to be done today and what you can return for when you have extra money. My family has been going to them for 10 + years.

This place is very honest. Jonathon did the work on my Toyota and he was great! I would recommend him to anyone. He replaced my catalytic converter and exhaust quickly and for a very reasonable price. My husband and I will definitely be going to him again.
