I was harassed by two officers at the gate trying to tell me I’m not allowed to pick a passenger that requested me via Lyft app. I am a Lyft driver. The guy was looking at my California real ID. I did everything he told me to do and he was telling me I’m not even allowed to come on base without a military ID and so I don’t know why somebody requested me. I didn’t know that this is a military base but the directions that Lyft gave me took my car all the way over there. The last base I went to as a Lyft Driver cause this happened to me before I did not have to have a military ID and they checked my California ID had no problem with it. This guy has a problem with my last name and my ethnicity. He didn’t even give me an option to go to a visitor center and pick up a pass that says that I can drive military people here which I’m not looking to drive the military people but if I am requested on Lyft I’m not gonna turn the down. The officers name was bugled, and he had his partner who did the first questioning of me to see my California real ID was the one staring at my ID acting like it wasn’t acceptable and acting like my picture didn’t match when it did. It’s the same picture they took at the DMV a year ago. I can prove that this is a valid ID. I can prove that my picture matches. I have my personal documents as well like my Social Security card, my birth certificate and everything that matched my My real ID as well, but I got the DMV that they accepted to give me my drivers license real California ID card.

As a retired Vet, it has an awesome hospital, commissary and the vacation beach villas (separate review) are priceless! There are multiple gates for entry since their footprint is enormous. On this day brought civilians to see their very worthy Mechanized Museum, as well as, the WWII/Korea LVT Museum. The kids were ages 14, 12 and 8. Unlike the 14 year old WWII buff; the other two "had to go."
Within 15 minutes of our arrival, all three kids were all in! We literally spent hours here and they still rave about it!! The entire experience was exceptional; everyone on duty was absolutely the best example of the Marines and our National Defense. Semper fi!
This is my scholarship to California in Camp Pendleton in Marines and I want to be a dog handle for my protection and my guardian protection and I want to be protective and to be a professional (?♀️????? ?? ???)…..
If you love your sons make them 1 Mardif marines. If you love your girls make them west coast sailors. If you love your selves move to San Diego and experience what it is like to live with sunsets in the evenings. 6 months 2 and 20 years I left San Diego after someone broke my heart. I regret it every day.
A marine BOUGHT a 14 year old girl and hid her for 2 weeks and the chain of command is covering it all up. There's minimal coverage on this and they're refusing to release his name or any information. Shameful.

Easy to find right off the exit. All Truckers if ya don’t have a twic card, upon arrive pull into the parking lot and wait for your escort. Friendly guard helpful when asked. Not bad over all!
Walked a lot here with a bunch of my friends up and down some hills enjoying the scenery. We did extracurricular activities and we even shot at some targets. I even got to sleep under the stars 11/10
I’ve gone to the commissary here a few times an it’s decent enough. Unfortunately, i can’t say the same about the personnel that’s stationed there. A few weeks ago, while i was at school a marine by the name of Staff Sergeant Kevin Linnersten uttered a racial slur towards me. I don’t understand why his words towards me were racially motivated but i did not know marines could talk to civilians that way. To be honest i thought our men in uniform believed in equality and justice.
