On a mission to restore my 1994 Toyota Supra with original chrome rims that had seen better days I embarked on a search to find a place to refinish them for me. It was surprisingly hard and there is nowhere in the Bay Area that can do this and numerous places refused to deal with chrome even if I wanted a powder coat finish. The old chrome finish was peeling quite badly although the aluminum core was in good shape. After searching I found A&D plating AKA Chrome Plating USA, one of just three places in SoCal that would do them, and decided to go a road-trip holiday with a dual purpose of dropping my wheels off with them. The price was reasonable and the reviews seemed good. Three weeks later, they shipped the finished rims back to me for a very reasonable price and well packaged. The end result looks fantastic, a very attractive chrome finish to the front face with very few imperfections. There seem to be a few nibs in the chrome that catch on microfiber towels, but not visible to the eye and they look great. Highly recommended. Photos attached, including a before!
I had them chrome plate my bumpers. When I got them back the plating was already peeling and cracking. I told them immediately all they do is blow me off. These people don't back their work. Don't trust them.
They did a great job on my grill and a hand full of parts. Took a little longer than expected but the job was above expectations. Thanks Mario for job well done.
I have had several items chromed by this company. They do really good work and the price is more than fair. I also love the ease of just texting a photo to get a quote and handling everything over text. I will continue using them.

I started dealing with this company in January I have a 1971 Corvette I used this company for chrome plating when turned in the parts they said they'd have them ready for me in 2 weeks it actually took a month-and-a-half everything looks good except for the blinker assembly it took another 2 months to get them to come back and redo them as of 11th of April they came and picked up the blinker assembly said they needed 2 weeks I still don't haveyhem at this point now I feel like I'm getting the runaround.
After posting the first part of of this review they made it right and I am happy their service very good quality work.

Brought a set of rims to get chrome plated here. They did an amazing job and was satisfied with the level of craftsmanship and attention to detail they put into it. Was estatic when I saw my rims transformed, it was everything I was expecting. I will however mention that it did take a while until I heard back from Alicia and her crew. But that could also be due to my excitment.
