We had a blast riding our bikes. We parked by a covered bench area and we stay in the area mainly. It was a very hot day so it was good to get back to a shaded area to rest every once in a while

Great place to visit with fantastic weather between mid October to mid April.

Top notch for off roading on State land. You can red off road 4x4 dunebuggies etc

Different terrain for all riding levels. Fun places to find (like the telephone booth)

This is such a great spot to camp during Winter months. During the week its very quiet, not so much on weekends. But hey, its a place to bring your riding toys and unwind all night if you feel the need. Visit the visitor center, its well worth it. Lots of info on the area. There are flush toilets and hot showers too for $1.25/2 mins.. You can even drive a mile to Ironwoods RV Resort to do laundry, and grab items at their store. They offer an RV dump for $20. Miles of area to camp. I always stay off main roads and trails, but dust can get pretty bad during crazy weekends. Is what it is.

Always a pleasure to take the kids out and have some safe fun away from all the craziness associated with other SRVAs in the area

I loved coming to Ocotillo Wells, but lately I'm not impressed. Some areas where camping takes place is full of broken glass, garbage and hundreds of nails scattered. It makes the experience with family and friends far less enjoyable being surrounded by garbage and hazards. Visitors need to do better, because the bad apples are spoiling the park.

Lotsa fun to be had here. Best if you visit when there's no one here, as cross traffic can be concerning.

Super fun place! Lots of spots for all levels of riders! Plenty of bathrooms and they were clean! We had a good time with our family

We've been coming here for years! It's always a great place to ride quads or side by sides. There's always places to explore here like the pumpkin patch, shell reef and the fish wash, to name a few. Yes the rangers here can be hard on you but as long as you have your OHV's up to date on registration, have a whip on each of your OHV's and ride with your helmet on at all times, you should be fine.

Side by side heaven lots of tight turning canyons but lots of fun for four wheeler three wheelers motorcycles and just family fun so bring the kids and the toys and get dirty and if you don't have any they rent t b em also

One of my favorite places to ride dirtbikes and four wheel Drive. Close to town plenty of trails great choice for off road. Close Burrago Springs , Great riding trails ,Some Sand Dunes. A few campgrounds close by with Services. Or you can go off grid set up and ride. There are bathrooms and dumpsters for trash.

On 3-10-2018 we took a break at the Ocotillo Wells State Vehicular Recreation Area. This was an active area, so we left before sundown in order to find a quieter place to overnight.

it's a dessert. so u know it will be mostly sand and no shade and windy most of the time. but if that is not a problem, this place is good for just about anything but single track

One of our favorite spots to go camping and offroading! I've camped everywhere from the blow sand side to pole line road. There is so much to explore and great for any skill level. When we ride our dirtbikes I can easily follow along the steeper trails with some trails down below if I'm being a scaredy cat. I brought my 4runner out for the first time last week and it was so much fun! It was perfect in the 100 degree heat cruising in ac haha I also always try to go out there on a weekday. There is literally no one out there, you are alone in the desert. But I feel safer than trying to ride my dirtbike on hills and with blind corners when everyone has a side by side these days. Also, make sure you check how windy it will be before coming here, Ocotillo in the wind is intense!!

We love camping here. The Rangers really do a good job keeping this place clean and safe. A lot of great areas to off-road and explore for all levels riders and vehicles.

Our family enjoys the desert(winter)and driving the Yamaha Rhino. Slowing down for a couple days, and getting out of our routine, nice.

My family spends a lot of time enjoying this park. The rangers offer very cool learning experiences for the kids, and the variety of terrain keeps all of us smiling whether we’re in Jeeps or on bikes.

This is a great off road park for learning how to ride in Desert conditions. I only ride a Enduro motorcycle here but there’s a lot of quads so you need to be careful on the weekends or traffic but in the week day early anybody’s here. It’s a great escape on the weekdays to get away from any crowds

My family of 3 rented quads for 4 hours in December. It was a little chilly in the morning hours but we nearly had the place to ourselves. We explored and had the best time of our lives! Four hours wasn't nearly enough so I recommend devoting more time to explore the AMAZING landscape.

A great place to off road any vehicle and for us, we love dirt-biking here. You can visit "Pumpkin Patch" and check out all the rocks that form a pumpkin patch. Pole Line Road is my favorite road to bike on. It goes on for miles!

What can you say. This place is huge. Plenty to do and see for any type of off-roading. Will be back.

Had a blast here! Lots of places to explore with a lot of friendly people around. Was really windy the day I was there though but had a quiet night camping

Always a great time, lots of destinations w/in the SVRA to fill multiple days if you're camping. There are also plenty of resources nearby should you need anything you didn't bring with.
