Very helpful, got me in and out for some maintenance I needed on my Kia and my Honda. Gave me a fair estimate for some upcoming maintenance as well so I can plan ahead. Friendly and informative staff, not pushy.
Huge thanks to this shop, the owner and technicians! Our daughter and family (husband, 2 babies and dog) had major car issues while traveling from out of state to visit for the holidays. The shop and team communicated what was wrong, what parts needed to be fixed and were upfront on prices. We needed the vehicle back by a certain date so the family could return home in time for work. It was a quick turn around, and the prices they quoted were the same at time of payment. We are so happy with the service they provided!
My friend and I are from AZ, we drove out to experience the Angeles Crest Hwy. About 10 miles west of Wrightwood, I hit a rock in the middle of the road and it put a hole in my oil pan. All of my oil was gone within seconds and the car wasn't driveable. I hopped into my friends car and headed to town to find a shop. The entire crew was incredibly helpful. They couldn't get a replacement oil pan until the next day. I found one in Ontario so we drove there to pick it up. By the time we got back, the flatbed was dropping off my car and less than any hour later, the new oil pan was installed and I was on my way. They went over and above to help someone from out ot town get back on the road! Thank you for the service!
Always can accommodate when I need something for my car. Whether a tire patch, oil change, new tires, or brakes. They do it all! Friendly and will take you home or pick you up if need be ?
A GREAT auto shop, and the best for older Subarus! Working on cars is as much an art as it is a science, and they have both down. Our little town is so lucky to have them!
I hit a rock driving to Baden Powell, after being stranded for hours I finally got a tow truck to get me to these guys. They were the height of kindness, worked through there lunch break to look at my car got me good enough to limp my poor vehicle back to LA and avoid tow fees. Me and my dog are very grateful for everything and getting us home safely. Thank you endlessly!!
Took the kids to their first snowboarding experience at mountain high over spring break and happened to snow like crazy. Highway patrol wouldn’t let us pass without snow chains so went to the hardware store to buy chains and wasn’t confidant to install the chains myself so saw this automotive shop across the street. Went in and asked if they can assist installing the chains. They were more than happy and very helpful. Within 10 mins they had the chains on. I asked the fee and they told me it was on the house. I felt bad and tried to tip $50 but they wouldn’t accept. It was shocking to find an auto shop not only don’t try to rip customers off but go out of their way to help and won’t even accept a tip. How can you not support a business like this? Thanks guys!
Called this shop today needing an oil change. Tom took me right in and asked me to leave the car for a couple of hours. I walked home, headed back later in the afternoon, picked it up, and drove back to my cabin. Service was friendly and excellent. Pricing was fair and affordable. I am happy to have found a mechanic close to home.
I honestly thought that their prices were a little bit high. I understand that they are in the mountains and it's not easy for them to do their jobs. Nevertheless, I kind of felt like they should not have charged me as much as they did for their services.
I love Wrightwood Auto! Victor, Tom and the crew always get the job done. They have always been courteous - even giving me a ride back home if it's going to be awhile and bringing me back when it's done.
Had the best experience ever. Went above and beyond to help me find and fix any and all issues with my truck. I personally highly recommend them. Tom, Victor, Dan and all employees of Wrightwood Auto Repair Shop are very experienced, professional, courteous, and honest. Their prices can't be beat. For me they're Angels in disguise.
WRIGHTWOOD AUTO is the best! Tom has taken great care of my Subaru since 2017! I like their small town ways of operating in that I bring it in and he brings me back home and if I don't have a ride to pick it up, they come get me! Everyone there has been extremely professional and kind. And their work has been excellent!! Victor helped our grandson when he was having a hard time changing the brakes on his car. Our boy asked him for suggestions and Victor took the time on his day off to help! Amazing!
Two years ago, I took my car to Wrightwood Auto for minor mechanical repairs. After completing the repairs, Victor took the car for a test drive, drove it off the road, and wrecked it. Business insurance paid for the damage to the tune of nearly $10,000, but the car was nearly totaled.
Victor was very resistant to giving me any details of how the accident occurred and to this day, I don’t know how it happened.
Needless to say, I have never been back and can’t ever trust him to be near my vehicles.
Not so tough to find an honest mechanic if you start here. Considerate, compassionate, and understanding, they helped me out of a bad situation. makes me wish i lived in Wrightwood. Forever thankful.
