I recently took several bags of paper and cardboard for recycling here. The staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable, guiding me through the process and explaining how my materials would be reused. I appreciated the level of transparency they provided. The recycling process seemed top-notch, with all materials properly sorted. Their service was quick and efficient, and the value was outstanding as there were no hidden fees. I would highly recommend this center for anyone looking to recycle responsibly.
I give it a one star Beause today we went walking from Pomona all they way to Montclair Ca, This place Where is at They aren't Accepting anymore Recycling Cans , Bottles and plastic You're telling me we carry those for nothing now we need to walking back again In the hot sun back to Pomona Ca,
This is a well organized and managed operation. They also pay the best prices. Very clean and well maintained grounds. I have been to many recycling operations in the area. This one stands out as the best in the area.
It seems that they are now closed.
I will not be going here again. They tried to pay me $8.20 for a clean aluminum rim and 6 8' pieces of new aluminum molding 25.2 lbs of clean aluminum does not equal 8.20 rip offs the place on eastend pays much better
Continental Recycling is one of three locations i go to when turning in my recycles. It is often busy so there can be a wait to get in, but they are well organized, clean, even now during Covid-19. They have cut their parking in half to provide for social distancing allowing only every other space to be used. All the staff I saw were wearing masks and gloves. You really could not expect more. As for prices on your recycles, not sure? They usually have coupons though.
I have been to many different recycling facilities from fontana, ontario, pomona, upland and chino. And I must say without a doubt that continental was way more organized from their easy acces into the facility. They keep the ground there very clean. It is the cleanest recycling facility I have ever been to. And that smell that you usually get a few nasty wiffs of while your emptying your car or truck. Well not at continental. And it was so much quieter than any other facility. And getting paid much smoother. So I this is deffinatly my new recycling facility for sure.
The Continental Recycling has, to my knowledge and appreciation, the most cordial business esterblishment that I can relate to. They are cortioues and welcoming to every of their numerous customers. I am proud and glad to be one of those numerous custome because, I always, enjoy my business visit to the location. Please, keep up the good work and thank you very much for being an enviable business esterblishment to the surrounding communities.
The place is relatively clean (for a recycling center) but there was definitely at least a 10 minute wait to get in, I guess I went at a really popular time or most likely cause of the 'rona. The process itself is pretty quick and they have pretty good prices on plastic and Aluminum cans.
All things considered they have it together pretty well although you have to wait in line in your car they're well organized with 2 way radios to direct you. They just need more baskets and cans for your items.
If you don't ask questions they will con you. I brought in 350 lbs of aluminum, I asked for the price and they said the weight man will tell me. When I asked him he gave me a receipt, no price, he told me to go to the window. To my surprise, my 350 lbs of aluminum came up to a whoping $6.56..... I thought this was a joke. What can I do, they aluminum is gone, I'm not gonna load 350 lbs from the can to my truck, I would have been better off going somewhere else. I rarely give a bad score but this was a terrible way to do business. Don't come here, go somewhere else.
This place is really clean and has service, and great prices. I used a coupon that they have on their website and got an additional $0.10 a pound for my cans and bottles. I will definitely come back here again.
Continental used to be the only place .I would go this is the last time .i had a to the topbaaket of plastic and a lot were smashed and i had 3/4 full of cans . i had 2 radiators 2 bike rims 3heavy aluminum posts and a bunch of copper tubing and glass and i walked away with 62 dollars. I think because im a white woman. Because normally with just the cans and bottles i wpuld havve gotten at least 80. Thry are rip offs not to mentionn rude. And there is nothing you can do about it. Except go elsewhere and that is what i will do.
Love this place. Except now they have a guy with a whistle directing traffic in the parking lot. He's going to cause an accident he tells ppl to go before there's even an open spot. Other then that I love it there.
Excellent service, prices, and a cleaner facility. I don't understand the negative reviews people have left. People are delusional and expect gold prices for their aluminum cans.
This is the best recycle center in the area hands down! Clean and efficient with knowledgeable staff. Prices are fair and they will pay more if you bring more! This is a much larger facility than you would believe at first glance. They can handle semi-trucks full of material all the way down to grandma’s bag of CRV cans. I live in Murrieta but when I need to visit a center while I am working in the northern Inland Empire, I go out of my way to go here.
Nobody speaks english and its like your doing something wrong by coming to them everyone looks mad i know i was ripped off if you tell them what is the weight you get no habla never go there again them guys need to chill out if there so unhappy find another job but learn english first
Worst place ever I will never go there again. I've been told by my neighbor that every time she goes and sells copper she gets ripped off. Her husband and her had taken the same amount the same date different times just to test the place. They give her less money.. Yesterday was my first time going to sell cans usually my husband takes them I got half of what he gets. Half a what I tell they marked it as tear... I will never go there again and will not refer this place.
Was fast, easy and paid cash. However it seems their scales shorted me on the copper that I turned in. Probably won't be returning to this location again.
These people are great and they give the best prices around today. Sammy is the nicest guy you could ever meet. I would highly recommend using this recycling company.
