I called to ask if I would be able to pick up my vehicle after it was towed, and was met with a man who had the most disgusting attitude. He refused to tell me how much I would have to pay and told me that I could call back in the morning since I wouldn’t be able to pick it up until then. After a bit of arguing back and forth I told him that I just wanted a rough estimate so I could go prepared in the morning, he responded back in the most annoyed and unprofessional tone, “give me a minute since you just have to know right now.” I will definitely be filing a formal complaint when I pick up my vehicle in the morning because an establishment treating people this way is unacceptable.
They talk alot of shit in Spanish. And r very mean And unprofessional. My tow truck borke down in there lot and they keep yelling at me in Spanish so i told them i don't understand wat they r saying so they called the cops saying i am starting fights
**CORRECTION** Its not a dirt lot. Cars are still being moved around a crowded lot with a forklift. Greedy and shady. I'm not accusing but I wouldn't doubt that peoples cars get damaged here and this disgusting place gets no consequence.
Based off of experience, I can only say that Carmen was kind, helpful and honest despite the inconvenience of the matter. However, $668 for 3 1/2 days. The rest of you can try to hide behind your "professional" verbal usage through your posted responses all you want. This business is strictly "take all we can" and they know it and come off proud of it. You have to have no compassion or heart to charge these rates to people who can barely survive in this economy. EVIL GREED.
P.S. They won't let you go in the back even supervised (at first) to locate your registration. Funny how mine went missing and THEN they allowed me to go back there and look for it. No surprise, it's magically gone. Had to go spend another $27 to get a copy and come back with 3 minutes before 5PM. Would of had to pay another $77 to pick it up the next day.

This place lies about everything. The workers are very rude when you question them about fees and times. No signage to indicate what hours are considered after hours. I blame the CHP for allowing peoples cars to be taken, whether it be an accident or removal of vehicles. I would never do business with them. If I wasn't hurt I would have waited until AAA came. This system that they have with the CHP is a SCAM. The fact that you are at the whim of others ro decide where to take your car when you have been in an accident, which means no control. I'd rather push my car to my home than to have to deal with Pepe's towing.
Very much criminal activity so for the past 2 days I've been in the process of obtaining all the legal documentation and paperwork that I need I called the company yesterday told them informed them I was on my way with all the legal paperwork to pick up my vehicle and they sold it at 9:00 this morning today knowing i was on my way to pick it up oh and did I mention how it was a recovery vehicle yeah it was stolen on July 1st i call them and told them that I would have everything I need and I would be there to pick up my stolen vehicle so instead of putting my car to the side because the owner of it's coming to get it they sold it if that's not bad intentions do you know I was coming for my vehicle then you that it was a stolen vehicle it was a recovery vehicle I told them on the 20th I'm going to handle everything I need to handle to make sure I got all the right documentation and everything that I need you paperwork wise and I'll be there on the 21st to pick up my recovered vehicle I just want to know how professionally is it for them knowing that I called them on the 20th notified them that I would be there on the 21st to pick up my vehicle don't you think they would have put it aside because it was a stolen vehicle and the owner is coming to pick it up show them knowing that I was doing everything I needed to do to get my vehicle back they've vindictively and maliciously made every rotten move that they could to keep me from getting my vehicle so now I'll be putting myself on calendar tomorrow morning and addressing the judge with my concerns and situation any questions or opinions or anything at all on how you think this is going to go all I know is what's right is right and what's wrong is wrong and what peeps towing did was everything in the wrong knowing that I was on my way to get the vehicle and they took the actions that they did what kind of crime does that fall under is there a man-made law against those malicious Acts
I had my vehicle towed and was this company and all I wanted was my personal items especially my laptop my personal and work cellphone my debit card id and a couple of gift cards as well as my personal mail and work uniforms and offeeed to surrender vehicle and give the keys up I was told registered owner only can do this so I got registration from dmv and when I went to retrieve my belongings I was lied to about all my stuff being thrown away already except my id and I finally was allowed to go to my car and EVERY SINGLE item BUT items listed above were still in vehicle oh and scattered on trunk and top of car and on floor outside car!!! I took a brief recording documenting missing items and worker overheard me and ran into office and the same lady who denied me my stuff rudely said there was no laptop ever in my car and then followed it with well maybe you should have been here 45 days ago to get your stuff!! and thankfully I also have that on my recording!! I hired a lawyer an hour after I left Fontana lot with police incident number and the recording of the lady basically saying to me if I would have shown up earlier maybe my stuff would be there !! I also have a locator app on my laptop which has pinged a location I am unfamiliar with which alerted me when it was powered on!!
Just went there to unload my sister's car. I believe ladies name was Linda or Theresa not sure but very nice people here. I wasn't aware that Mr. Acosta had passed on. I can't write a book here but back in the 70's or 80's can't remember Mr. Acosta owner who started it all helped my great grandfather out of a pickle once. My great grandfather spoke very highly of Mr. Acosta & glad that it has still progressed. I see Pepe's all the time excellent crew here.
They tow my car because the driver made the conclusion that it was park at a firelane. I spoke with the management where I live and they said is not a fire lane. But pepe's doesn't want to acknowledge that they made a mistake. At the end of the day I am down 455 dollars because that is how much it cost to get my car back....I would stay away from them. I add it a picture of evidence. I check with the city and they said the same thing there is no firelane. I know it doesn't have to be mark to be a firelane. That's why I check with the city. The time the driver calling in are wrong as well. Predatory behavior. Sad that in hard times people don't have a heart...
Would give 0 stars if I could. Horrible customer service. Awful company. I hope my HOA finds a new towing company because your employees are absolutely rude and nasty. The first dispatcher, Gina would not give me any information and told me to call back in 10 minutes. Your dispatchers are completely unprofessional and the same individual hung up on me twice within 15 seconds. He said and I quote "we're in the business to make money" and wouldn't answer a simple question. Unbelievably frustrating.

had my bike towed to their facility for two hours and they ended up billing me like my Bike had been in their procession for a very long time. I called and spoke with their manager and not even offer to help. On these Difficult days in out country..

They take money from people under any pretext. When you towed my car for no reasonable reason, after four days I accidentally found out that my car was towed. That is, if I didn't realize that my car was towed by you and my car stayed in your parking lot for a month, I should have sold my car a no nd given you money! Why did you charge me five days for parking from noon on Tuesday to early morning on Sunday? You, who had the license plate of the car, why didn't you inform me sooner? If it is not because of getting more money, then what is the reason?
They clearly have some other deal with the code enforcement /police department. On new year eve they drove with the code enforcement and towed a vehicle,which should not have been towed( that's on the code enforcement fault) but they aren't careful I witnessed them using the forklift to move cars around in their yard and pulled up faring and side panels, my car was also show visible damage from being lifted with a forklift. I let them know and all they did was take pictures.
They towed my car for parking in a fire lane at my moms house in rialto. Was my mistake . I called them soon as I noticed and they brought the car back.. whoever was working tonight 9-29-22 the lady at the office blessed me. I got lucky, driver was hella coo as well.

Unfortunately rialto p.d had pepe's tow my vehicle, but I can honestly say when I went to get my car all my belongings were inside untouched! I've had previous bad experiences with tow yards helping themselves but not these guys! So thankyou pepe's for being an honest tow yard! The people who worked here are nice and very helpful too! If I ever need a tow I'd recommend them! Thanks again for having honest employees!

At least one employee is shady and will do anything to make a quick dollar. Tonight I went to get food for my family and when I returned home I had to move a car that was parked in front of my garage and then bring the food in. While standing inside, with the outside and inside garage doors open, my 10 month old baby started crawling towards the door and I had to pick her up so she would not go outside.
After setting her down I looked to see my car being towed. I tried telling the driver I had just gone in to put my food down and he said he had been there for 10 minutes working on my car and I never came outside, which is an absolute lie. I asked to see the picture of my vehicle, and it was taken at 7:23 PM. As of the writing of this review, it is 7:50 PM, and I had to negotiate with him to please drop my car, go get my form of payment, find proof of registration, wait for him to fill out paperwork, wait for him to call in my payment, drop the car, and then I moved it where it was going to be parked for the night across the community. How did all of that happen if he actually spent 10 minutes out front working on my car? All of the neighbors who were standing outside came over to try and tell him I had just gotten home and he didn't care.
I get it, you're a tow company, I was parked in a location where I should not have left my car unattended, but really? Tell me you are doing your job, don't lie to me about what you were doing. Also, for what it's worth, his truck is completely automated from inside the cab, so he never had to get out of his truck other than to take a picture of my car, and he was able to start towing it in a matter of seconds, not 10 minutes. Hope his job makes him happy.
Had a flat on the 10fwy. at the most inconvenient time in the morning. It was about 5am or so when I called and could not find a tow service to come out. I called Pepe's and they answered right away,got my info and came right out with in 25 or so minutes since they had trouble finding me as I didn't know which exit I was close to.Kinda pricey though but it was the middle of the morning so idk if that makes a difference.Great attitude, great prompt service.I can say that it was one of my better experiences with a tow company.
They came and towed my stepdaughter's car from the apartment parking area where I live. When I called and asked them why, they lied to me and said because there was no parking permit showing. Funny thing about this is that for the last ten years I've lived at the same place, I have yet to have needed a parking permit to park here! Not only that, but ever since we got the car back from Pepe's, it had to go to a repair shop because it didn't seem to go any faster than 30mph. Whatever they did to it when they towed it, they ended up damaging something inside the transmission. Now not only did we have to pay impound fees, towing fees, but repair costs as well because Pepe's claims they didn't do anything wrong.
I attended thier car auction. They would not allow customers to look at the engine, inspect the vehicle, or even check the mileage. So I decided to ask for a manager out of curiosity. His response was that it is company policy. Well, being an entrepreneur myself, I sat and thought about it for awhile and the only conclusion that I was able to come up with was- they want you to pay more than the vehicle is worth so they are essentially trying to work as a car dealership. However, at least car dealerships show you what their selling you. Mr. Pepe, shame on you.
Your lucky you got one you lying thieves do not trust these car thieves. They steel your car and hold it hostage school yourselves on your rights cause these thieves won't tell you your rights
I called just to get some help on changing a tire and was promised 40 minutes but it took a driver more than double that to reach me just 5 miles from the office and they were gonna charge me $70. a random guy stopped and said he would switch our tire for $40 so i cancelled the service before he even got to me and i was on my way in 10 minutes
I've been using Pepe's for many many years now. There drivers are always very nice and willing to help you. Phone operators are professional and get trucks out to you fast without complications like directions, because not all people are going to know where they are and might need help if they break down in unfamiliar areas getting proper directions. Great job and nice trucks shows a level of caring if equipment is up to par.
I have been attending Pepe's Towing Service since day one. The entire office staff make doing transactions very easy. You could not ask for a better team than those guys from the company.
