Worst place to recycle in Fontana. Jesus Salazar is so rude and disrespectful. He was on his cell phone while thrilling a customer. He saw me struggling with my recyclables and I asked him for help and he said he was busy.I told him that I was going to talk to the manager and report him. He said he didn’t care, that I would just be wasting my time.
Awesome place! Came here because my go-to recycling center has been acting super shady lately. The gentleman that helped me out was super cool and respectful. And I got more money for less amount of recyclables that I got from my previous place. This will be my go-to spot for recyclables moving forward. Great place and hospitality!
I enjoy this place & the staff.. the only complaint I have is all the metal debris scattered all over the ground. When I was walking to my car I realized there was tiny metal scraps under my car..As soon as I left, I got a flat tire. Now the money I just made selling bottle's is going to go towards a new tire. Please sweep the parking several times throughout the day..
This place 100% honest and worth driving to. I live by Cal State San Bernardino, and i make the drive to this location because I know they dont mess with weights/scales to screw you. Highly recommend!
I only come to mega recycling when Jesus is working cause he always helps me with sorting metals and greets me with a smile. They always handle customers quickly and efficiently, even when they're super busy.
My husband is a plumber. He took a couple pounds of #2 brass to test their honesty. They gave him 1.30 a pound, and he tried arguing, but nope, they stuck to their price. He then took his hoard of over 100 pounds to a center in Rancho Cucamonga, and they paid over $3 a pound. Know what your stuff is worth before going to this place.
As soon as I arrived, two of the staff members helped me get over 150lbs of metal from my truck. They weighed it and paid me quickly. Now the pay for the metal is terrible. I got next to nothing. But the service was great.
I have to say this is the most awesome place to take your recycling stuff here. Hands down they are very nice and good at keeping things in order. I just was here like an hour ago and I want to say thank you. To the workers
Yes, you can dispose used appliances in this place. But do not expect any money here! Is better to put them in the curb. Don't waste your time and gas! ;-).
There facility has limited parking for unloading, however they have a quick turn around so you are able to quickly weight your product and get paid once an unloading spot opens up.
I have always received good customer service here by all. If you're walking and bringing your cans by shopping cart just make sure you take it back with you off the lot and closer to the main street. Let's not give them a reason to start prohibiting those of us without vehicles from bringing them in shopping carts like rePlanet recycling centers, main reason why THEY'VE lost my business aside from the horrible service I've received from them (except one guy who works there Sundays and Mondays).
Much, much friendly and better costumer service than the rePLANET Recycling by Sierra and Ivy Ave, by Stater Bros....the older man there, was always so rude and treating people badly
I started going here about 6 years ago and even though I moved further into Corona, I still go back. Everyone is always so helpful & nice...that's why!
The other day I was there recycling a few hundred pounds of glass and thought I dropped my wallet in the bottom of the bin. I asked the guys if we can dump the bin into another one to try and search threw the glass. They were more than happy to take time to grab another bin find the forklift that had the tilt and help me search. We didn't find it because it was at my house lol but All in all these guys are awesome and very help full and don't give attitude like some other places. Thanks Mega
One of the top 2 recycling centers in Fontana IMHO. The employees always make sure that containers are available. They are always pleasant to customers. The place stays clean. The prices are great. It's usually busy in the late morning before noon.
