Had a great experience with this company and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! First and foremost they gave me the highest quote despite the extensive damage to front end of vehicle. I had called after hours after submitting for a quote online, and the woman I spoke with verified my info was in system and assured a callback the next morning shortly after opening. The next morning at 9 am got the call back to schedule pick up and they suggested 2 days later, and then asked if I prefer same day, but that the time would not be preset. I agreed and less than 2 hours later the truck arrived to pick up my car and pay. The man who assisted me was prompt, efficient and it was a done to deal with in about 3 or 4 minutes no joke. I got the $771 check I was quoted and that was that. I called and used the internet quotes of about 7 different companies pricing my totaled 08 Toyota Camry, and the average offer was $601-$640. This company paid $771 which is more than the $745 I originally paid to get it out of the tow yard . Very good experience with them!

Copart is very ez to sell a car. Very positive experience. You call them online to sell your car. They give you an instant quote you hand over your title and someone picks up the car towed for free. They give good market values unlike other junkyards. 5 star experience for easyness to sell and pickup process is a cakewalk. Will definitely continue to give this company buisness!!

I had a pick up time from 8:00am-12:00pm. Driver got there after 3:00pm. When I called at 12:00pm, he told dispatch he was 1 hour late. I gave him 2 hours before I called again. Driver just kept giving false time frames.

Given an ok Quote, but wouldn't call it awesome! Gave my asking price. Given another Quote less than my asking price, but one I was satisfied with, however, I was shopping around and informed them I'd call back in 15 minutes if they were chosen. I called back and someone started taking my information once again and then stopped saying there was a problem and I was informed I would be contacted that day. However, I was not. Nor was any message left. - Wed: I received an early morning before 8 a.m. call. An apology was given for the delay in calling me back on Tue. The quote given Tue. was re-confirmed. I was then informed that I will be given a check and not cash, but that I could simply go directly to Bank of America and cash the check. - Thur: The "Car Whizzes" was Antelope Valley Towing Company: R & J Towing. It's a family-owned-and-operated towing company that has been serving the Lancaster, area for more than 15 years. They contacted me and scheduled the removal of my vehicle within the hour since they were already on their way before setting a scheduled time. They arrived within the hour as estimated. Where there was once an old truck, there was now a fat COPART Business Check in my hands instead of a fat stack of cash. Filling out and signing the title and towing away my vehicle all went smoothly. Although there were no Hidden Fees by SellMax-Cash for Cars, I drove directly to Bank of America and attempted to cash the check, I was told there will be an $8 fee for not having an account with them, but then was told the check couldn't be honored there as of yet since the company had yet to place the check in the system or something like that and that I had to simply deposit the check at my own personal financial institution. When I presented the check to my personal financial institution, they accepted the COPART Business Check and then placed a one (1) business day hold on the release of 80% of the funds. So in all, it was a good experience, but I feel they need to update their website stating check and not cash is given.
