Very rude , Because they know there is nobody else on that highway to call and ask help they charge soo much , not recommended , they take advantage of people very unprofessional . Very True review i am very disappointed .

My son broke down on Sunday after Thanksgiving at 10:00 pm. They opened the shop and replaced his tire. I'm so thankful for them and their work ethic. Also, their prices were better than the others in the area.

We blew out a tire about five miles out from Baker on I15 the night before Thanksgiving. AAA couldn't get to us for two hours, but I called Baker Auto and they said they would send someone whenever we could get there. Around 7:30pm, we called again, they directed us to their shop, two workers came and replaced the tire in about ten minutes. Great service, and I'm super grateful to them for saving our Thanksgiving trip.

I had a tire blowout on the highway, and when I called, they came to help immediately. They arrived so quickly, fixed the issue right away, and made sure I could get back on the road safely. Their professionalism, speed, and kindness truly exceeded my expectations. I’m incredibly grateful for their help — I wish I could give more than five stars. Thank you so much!

I stopped here because my car was vibrating a lot. They immediately identified the problem as two bulged tires. They quickly changed them and saved my trip. In 20mins I was back on the road. They were super honest. In fact they even refunded me 40 dollars the day after, without me asking, because they this said they had accidentally overcharged me.

Baker Auto to the rescue! We had a flat tire around 10pm on a Friday (Labor Day weekend no less!) and they came out as soon as they could and got us back on the road within the hour. Seriously saved our butts. I believe they said they are 24 hours. 10/10 would recommend!

Our car had a nail in one of the tires about 12 miles outside of Baker, which we didn't know until we went to put air in it at the Chevron around the corner. We drove here, our tire now completely flat, and they were able to replace our tire for a fair price and got us back on the road in under 30 minutes. Wonderful people, thank you so much!

My husband and I just came by here after calling ahead to get a new tire trailer put on and buy an extra spare. We said we’d be there in about and hour, Brandon came in on a Sunday to help on time and got the repair done in a matter of minutes. It was such a relief after a terribly long road trip with so many other breakdowns and issues. There’s nothing like feeling helpless in the desert like that and having someone who is kind, caring, and hard working to pull through for you. What an angel in the middle of nowhere!!

On the way back to LA from Las Vegas, our tire blew out 10 min past the state line just before 5 pm. Luckily a very kind man pulled over to help change my shredded tire out with the spare. Afterwards, I immediately called Baker tire and spoke with Brendon. He was super nice and agreed to wait for me even though he was preparing to close shop for the day. I told him my car make and model and he assured me he would have the tire we need. Once we arrived, he quickly assessed my car and replaced our shredded tire with a new tire. Brendon was very professional and polite. I knew we were in good hands the minute I met him. He had us all fixed up and out within 20 minutes. Thank you so much Brendon. Thank goodness for this place! We had a tire blowout on 1-15 halfway between Barstow and Baker at 9:00 at night. We had an important event we had to get home for the next day-we absolutely needed to get back on the road. Our insurance’s roadside assistance turned out to be useless. Baker Auto Repair charged a very reasonable price for sending a guy after hours to our location in the middle of nowhere to mount a new tire on our rim. The other guys we called either didn’t have the tire in stock or were fully prepared to drain our bank account. Baker Auto was honest, fast and fair priced and saved our bacon.

Wonderful! Fast and fair. We were on Bell Baker road with a flat coming from Vegas. He arrived in 20 minutes. Changed our tire in about 10 minutes. The price was fair for the tire and service. They were amazing. We appreciate they were quick and very friendly. Thank you for making a terrible situation much better.

We were camping in the area and got 2 flat tires at the same time. The first place I called did not have our size tires in stock but referred me to Baker Auto. Brendan had two 225/55R18 tires in stock. We were in a group so another car was able to drive the 2 flats over to get the 2 new tires onto the wheels. Brendan was easy to reach on the phone and communicated clearly so getting to the shop in between his other calls was easy to coordinate. This happened on day 2 of a 5 day trip so we were glad to be able to finish the trip. Thanks Baker Auto!!!!!

Our Car broke down on the way to Vegas and our insurance company told us to wait for 1 and half hours and waiting in the middle of the desert is not fun at all. And we saw their website with very good reviews called them right away and yes they were absolutely professional and fast. And not just that He honestly told us he can't repair our vehicle and let our vehicle to stay in his shop without any fees till the car transportation came to pick it up. Today we got a flat tire in our rental car when we were about 35 miles away from Baker, and slowly drove there on the donut. The mechanic took care of business right away and replaced our tire as the tear was significant. We appreciated the timely and knowledgeable service!

Ended up not being able to help me with my issue, but was up front, charged me a nominal fee for the return he did do and called around to get me a decently priced tow and mechanic in Barstow to help get me going again.

Not all heroes wear capes. Our car was having problems driving through the desert near here. We called Baker Auto Repair before they opened. Brendon promptly returned our call. We needed a part that was not available, so Brendon promptly arranged for a part to be delivered from a city 60 miles away, same day. Completed the repair quickly once the part arrived. On the road by mid afternoon. Grateful to Brendon for quickly diagnosing and fixing our issue. Thanks!

Needed immediate assistance as I came up on the Baker exit. The first stop wasn't much help, should have just went straight to this one! I just needed one bolt and as soon as I told him the size and thread he got me a brand new one immediately! I informed him I was a little knowledgeable with cars, but he came out and helped me get on my way anyways. Highly recommend! If you work there and you're reading this, my dad wanted to know your name. He lives close and goes to Baker frequently! Thanks again for the friendly customer service and quick assistance!

We had an emergency traveling through Baker on our way to Utah and are so thankful for this place! Brendon was awesome and changed our tire and got us back on the road within 10 minutes!! And they didn’t take advantage of our demise- and instead .. felt as though it was cheaper than when we actually originally purchased our tires. It was $180 out the door for a brand new tire, mount, and all - absolutely saved our trip and turned an emotional stressed situation into a delightful 10 min break from chaos. They have no idea how thankful we are! Then.. to top it off, they are holding our tire until we come back through town because our car was loaded with our Christmas and we couldn’t fit it (it’s under warranty, which is why we wanted it back) I highly recommend these guys!! Thank you for saving our Christmas and not taking advantage of our emergency!

Brendon is a great tire guy! All very nice guys here. Brendon quickly got me set up with the new tire I needed yet had to send me over to Max's for my other tire to be patched! I'm very pleased!

My kids and I were on our way for vacation when my van started acting up just after Baker. We did a U turn and landed at Baker Auto Repair. The owner is a PRINCE! He probably doesn't remember me now because it's been a couple yrs. He looked at our van (2009 KIA Sedona) and told me I didn't need him. I could order the Fuel Filter/Pump on Amazon and put it in myself...Yikes I thought but he was sure it was that simple. He said he would pick us up if we didn't make it all the way back to Vegas first...WOW! We made it, I ordered the part and he was completely right. One short Youtube How To video later I changed my own fuel filter/pump. Took about 10 minutes. I have thought of him OFTEN since. He could have taken us to the cleaners but it didn't even occur to him to try. I have since learned how to do a LOT of my own repairs too. He's one of a kind and a dying breed of mechanic. In fact, I came across these reviews because I am looking to call him about a repair on my son's car. I will gladly drive the hour or so, from Vegas, to get there & know we are in good hands AND to finally tell him Thank You for what he did for us so long ago now. Highly recommend this garage. Honest mechanics and good people are few and far between, but that's what we found at Baker Auto Repair.

Our trailer nearly lost a wheel just outside of Baker. It was 7pm and a quick call to these guys got everything in motion. Ken's Towing got the trailer to the shop where Mark & Brendan quickly got to work. They ended up driving to San Bernardino the following day to get parts. The work was completed quickly and at a reasonable cost. The guys are professionals...I wish I could find local mechanics like these guys!

Nice folks. They took care of us immediately, despite being busy with other stuff. Their shop was very small, but the people there were very friendly.

I broke down on the 15 north heading to Vegas and was out of commission for 2 hours. I was able to get my truck over to Mark, the owner of Baker. He was able to offer me solutions and able to fix the issues. Thanks to Mark and his staff for getting me back on the road in under an hour!

It has been almost a year since I was stranded in Baker & I am still thankful for the owners gracious help. I have a chronic migraine condition ( other words i have a headache...no matter what 24/7 for the last 11 years) & the owner went above & beyond for me...I did not break down until later in the day...Not only did he fix my car at a reasonable price he dropped me off at a place with air conditioning and then helped me find a hotel when my car would not be ready until the next day. He drove me to the hotel & picked me up at 8 in the morning (when my car was done). He either stayed late to finish it or got up early to install the part...the owner was a great mechanic and a very nice gentleman. I have never had such a wonderful experience with an automotive garage.

Baker Auto Repair, run by Mark and son, Brendan made a miraculous emergency repair for us on a Friday morning as my wife and I departed Las Vegas for San Diego driving our Dodge Ram pulling our Teton 5th-wheel. After climbing the Baker grade on the 15 fwy we started the long descent towards Baker. Suddenly a warning light came on and I realized we had lost our engine serpentine belt due to the belt tensioner failing that powers the steering, radiator fan and brakes. I shifted into neutral and coasted down the 15 into Baker. I got a reference at the towing co. at the north end of town for Baker Auto and gave them a call. Mark answered his cell phone and after explaining my plight he told me he was already at a parts store in Barstow and would pick up the new tensioner for my truck and bring it to the truck site I had stopped at in the middle of town. Within three hours he had sent his son, Brendan to me with the correct part and made the repair on the spot! We paid a very reasonable fee for his services and were on the road again, reaching San Diego by 7pm. Without Baker Auto's professional and timely repairs we might have been stuck for a day or two!
