What clients say about M.R. Recycling Center in Apple Valley (CA)
Absolutely disrespectful. Called in for a price on communication wire. The man huffed and asked how much did other places offer me and said that depends on how much you're bringing in. I responded by stating that's a weird way to answer the question, don't you guys have that written down? He responded angerly by saying $0.20 per pound because they don't want people bringing in 10 lbs and as I was trying to say what I have he was just loudly talking over me. Absolutely rude and unprofessional, wish I could give a lower score.
Edit: just called A-1 Hesperia and they offered $1.13 a pound, food for thought for anyone looking to scrap at this place.

They have a metal bin for anyone that needs to get rid of unwanted steel . No fee for leaving your items and there is no $$ in your pocket. Just very convenient to be able to rid metal locally.
The best place ever. I love the family that owns this place. I love the doggies they have running around there sometimes. Just an overall good environment. Thx for everything guys :)
Great customer service! They weren't very busy, but even so, Rachel went above and beyond. She came over and helped me fill my recycling containers (I filled about 7). Then she helped me take them to be weighed. I am handicapped, but she didn't know that until I started to walk! Don't know about the prices, I don't compare. They're just the closest, but seem fair.
OK place to recycle at . Prices seem fair enough compared to the other recycle center I frequent because its close to home. Recycle lines moves fast but took forever at the window because the office lady was busy on a phone call hopefully it was about business.
Have been going to this recycling center for 9 plus years. I've never had any problems with the service. And from what I can tell the prices they are paying are on par with the other recycling centers in the area
I usually arrive at a time when not to busy,workers very helpful , I've been to quite a few and sure I pass a few but still keep coming here , atmosphere feels comfortable

Best workers in the HD! Always helpful and kind. Very accommodating to all needs. Great redemption prices and not to mention the diversity of items we can turn in for $$ they have taken care of us since day one and it has been 6 years as their loyal costumers!! I am happy to have Metal Recovery as our go to. Truly, they are like family. :)
