You don't see the scale when recycling metal, and the figure is arbitrary and clearly a rip off. Last week I turned in a filing cabinet and random scrap to a different place in the sac area, and got just under 15 bucks. I came here with a similar load, but easily 2 times the weight if not 3 times the weight, and was told it would be 7 dollars. Woohoo I spent twice that in fuel just to make it out. Fairly quick service however, but obviously this would not be worth it of you're scrapping to make some quick cash.
Never going back... first time being there I loaded my bins waited in line the chunky Mexican dude with the tattoos on his face and the black dude with the tank top kept staring at me like annoyed when it came time to check my bins the mexican dude said "you're gonna have to switch your bins because the ones you're using are for glass." Cool i get it its fine it was $14 worth so it wasn't a big deal. It was the attitude and staring at me through helping 3 people in front of me without saying a word and no signage about the bins. I'm just like it was my first time being there, nobody directing no signage around the bins about the rules. And skipping over me with my 2 bins I just had to transfer and letting someone who had from 10 to 12 bins. Just my experience everyone else seemed nice there though. They might pay slightly less than others do cause I've always gotten atleast $20 for 33 pounds of plastic and 14 lbs of aluminum.
Absolute Best place for recycling !! The staff here is helpful, knowledgeable and no matter how busy or hot it is, it seems like they’re all having a good time doing what they do. (Sometimes there’s Music or TV going). They will get you in and out quick. They communicate well with customers and each other. They keep it clean and well organized. I don’t go anywhere else !!! 6 stars if I could ⭐
Good spot to get your recycling done. Quick service, reasonable payouts. Not too busy through the week, gets a little more packed on weekends.
Only gripe is you NEED a car/vehicle to make use of this facility. They won't let you recycle with them without one.
This place is 10 stars hands down. They take all most everything and they have a drive thru.
But the reason I go there is because I was tired of getting ripped off at other places. The only other place I would go to is billion dollar recycling by garden highway. The only reason I don't go there is because I moved.
These two are the best in these areas.
I have a question? Do you take tin cans? If not do you know anywhere else that does? I have a lot of clean tin cans that I want to recycle. Metals are total recyclable. I don't like throwing away good recycle cans. I prefer recycling everything. It's okay if I don't make anything on it. I just want be able to recycle it. It's difficult lately because it seems places only take the CRV. Please let me know asap where can I take these. Thanks.
I like the people here and they get you in and out pretty quickly. However, the rules seem to change every time I go. That is only about twice a year but it is frustrating.
Was a loyal customer until I was accused of doing something I didn't do, I was involved yes, but lead on under false pretenses, (and it didn't even involve them at first) and so after being a thoroughly loyal customer for 3 years, I was banned for a happenstance that no investigation was eve done, and not a one charge(s) pressed or citation(s) issued to me for... And get this, they never even asked my side or asked me what happened. Just ASSUMED they knew what the story was and gave me the boot. Thanks guys ... Thanks...
Don’t make the mistake of coming without a vehicle, they don’t serve anyone without a vehicle.
UPDATE: When you do come with a vehicle, this place is very nice. They have more than enough cans to separate whatever amount of CRV you happen to be bringing in. Parking is a little tight however, overall this is how a recycling center should be.
Easy service, staff helpful in getting bins to your car, sort then they shift though fast/ weigh, give them your name and head to window for refund on crv.
Today must not be a great today went in I feel like I was robbed of my money the math was to low to me because the weight of my copper wiring i got like 200 less then what I could of I came back see they can redo it and it was already gone it's like what you talking about make feel the fool I'm sorry I do love this place but today was not it sorry my friends
I needed to dispose of a large load of yard waste, and I’m so glad I chose this recycling center. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a smile and directed to the right spot. The service was efficient, and the staff made the process easy and hassle-free. What really impressed me was the value—they charge a fair rate for the service, which includes professional handling and responsible recycling. The quality of the operation is top-notch, and I left feeling good about my contribution to sustainability.
Had the worst experience ever. Don't recommend this place. Very dishonest people. They waited until I was done unloading my truck full of bags with aluminum cans to tell me the limit is 100 lbs. There were no signs about rules or daily limits. Mind it they didn't have much customers and their employees passed me couple of times so they had time to inform me, but decided not to. They were watching me to fully unload all my cans. I was over 10lbs and I was told they won't take it and the only option to sell it as scrab metal which is only 35cents or take it all home. Imagine I don't have bags because I ripped them during unload, they gave me only 4 bags because I denied their deal to leave it there because I would loose $ 130. So I think this is how they make money on people that's why I said they are very dishonest. Manager Roman refused to show me his business license and was very rude. Would never come back to that place again. I had no problems selling my cans in the different recycling place.
The worst experience i ever had in my life.
Manager Roman is a very rude and unprofessional person. They watched us to unload all our cans until we were done to tell us that we have to take everything back because it's over 10 lbs or sell it for 35 cents. I understand it's a law, but nobody knows all laws so I think it has to be posted. Would never go there again.
And associates didn't inform us in the beginning that can't take our load if it's over 100 lbs. They purposely waited until we were done to tell us they can't take the whole load and we can sell as a scrab metal for 35 cents or take the whole load back to the truck. Also manager Roman refused to provide his information as a business license which has to be posted in a public view area. By the way we went to the other place and had no problems with selling our cans for full price.
I've been going to this place for years but today is the last day I go there. I separated most of my cans and bottles.But they made a big deal out of 2 cans that weren't separated.Somebody else came in there.
And it wasn't no big deal For them to help that person plus plus they gave 2.Of my cans to somebody else They're not the only recycler in town. 80 pounds.

We’ve been going here for years. There is one young man that has helped us all these years that is awesome! I love the drive through , genius!! Sometimes it can be hit or miss with the staff. When in line they have been known to make me feel uncomfortable, like they wave their hand which comes off really rude instead of using words, it’s like they are so annoyed. I realize I’m literally only there for 10-30 minutes. I get in and get out regardless of how I’m treated , that is more important than anything else. Just thought it was worth mentioning since this is a review.
These guys are great . Very friendly & funny , the boys are extremely helpful , they all work together and are very efficient. Fast service and clean . The best recycle center I have come across. I bring all my recycling here they are always open with convenient hours .
