I had a pleasant experience with Dollar Tow. The administrator was quick to answer the phone, and Kirby came earlier than expected (30 minutes earlier). He had many helpful tips for finding another car. I also enjoyed talking with him during the ride home. Great and prompt service.
So my 2000 ford truck wouldn’t start thought it was just stalled and the tow driver KEN whom my insurance sent out said you know what’s let’s try to jump it and save you a tow I said sure! Sure enough it worked! It’s an older truck passed down to my son and KEN reminded us “ you need to learn the quirks of this truck”. Overall he was helpful, patient, and just all around friendly person. Thank you Ken!
He got to my location quickly and called prior to get a better location of where we exactly due to the GPS on the Geico app isn’t so great.
I wouldn't use this tow company ever again the only reason I did was because my insurance used them! The driver was not friendly at all and very confused about where the truck was going. Awful custumer service
Got into a wreck & when the tow company picked up my vehicle and took it to their yard, they when through my car and took money and other valuable items. When I questioned them all they did was get mad and Cuss me out, very unprofessional! I wouldn't recommend this place to nobody!
Well, after all, I can see both sides regarding mixed ratings. My car was totaled and fully covered, creating a different atmosphere. The call service can be improved; though keep in mind they deal with a variety of emotions and reasons behind the tow. The older gentleman at this location was very kind and knowledgeable. Catching me off guard as if we knew each other; knowing we stand in two different worlds, my experience 10/10, I try to see everyones standpoint.
I was involved with a very bad car accident and was taken to the emergency room. Dollar Tow is the Tow company that picked up my totaled car on the highway. When I went to go pick up my belongings the owner the old man that owns Dollar Tow was screaming at me and my friend telling me that I was not allowed to get my belongings out of my car until I sign paperwork I told him the insurance company was going to cover the cost of my car being stored there he continued to yell at me, threaten me, and call me and my friend names. He also told us that we were both stupid. After him yelling at me and calling me names for 20 minutes, I was finally able to get my belongings. I was not happy at all. I do not recommend this place to anybody the fees are outrageous, and the customer's service I received was extremely poor. It doesn't even deserve one star. This place need's to be shut down, Horrible place!
I called them up to go out to a particular location to do a job, even though I the caller was not present at that location. They could have told me no, since I was not where the car was. The tow service was for the purpose of rescuing my niece out of a dead car battery situation. Dollar Tow came, the issue was resolved and my niece was saved. The cost for such was a bit pricey, though. Nonetheless, Paul at Dollar Tow, thank you.
130 hr I was quoted. And I was told that I would be charged for him to drive out to me. So if it took him an hour to get to me, it would be $130 for the hour of him driving to me + 130 to do a drop off and I don't even know where the guys at and I'm afraid to ask if that rate, to bad they didn't know I was only a block away.. I was I told him.
Great friendly tow company. Can ride along in the cab no problem coronavirus virus mask if you need to. Their trucks are fancy their employees are great it was a decent experience
Horribly unprofessional (embarrassing): Driver showed up to tow a wrecked car, blocked our driveway to our business, when I tried to ask him to move until he figured out what he was going to do. He became extremely confrontational and rude. Told me repeatedly he was contracted by the police, even though he was on our private property.
I believe his situation could have easily escalated to become physical.
I called for tow and the lady on the line kept telling me they only tow in Sacramento. I kept trying to tell her i lived in Sacramento. I realized im better of talking to wall after 3 minutes of trying to explain
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! The old man who helped me in the office when I was picking up my car was very grumpy and rude when I tried to ask simple questions about the belongings in my car. He cussed me out for no reason. Such a mean person. If I ever need a towing again I will never come here. They don’t know how to treat people with respect. Don’t waste your time here.
Everyone from this company has helped me to jump my car, give me assistance and advice on what's going on, and exhibited great customer service. I would give them a 20/5. Came earlier than expected, great customer service, always offer great advice, and are very skilled at their jobs. Charles helped me twice. Last night, he towed my vehicle home with ignition issues. It took a lot of skill and concentration. He was very friendly, and knowledgeable. I am super grateful for this company and their services. I am glad GEICO works with them!!!!! Keep up the amazing job!!! Y'all are life savers!!!!
People always want cheap and good service, but thats not how things work, you always pay more for a good tow. Yet, I was so surprised on how cheap Dollar Tow charged me for a long distance tow, this was not across the street tow, and the man that helped us was great, straight to the point, he knew where he was going and how confusing the directions we gave him and he was nice and understanding and got our car where it needed to go, so thank you Dollar Tow, I am definitely going to continue to call them when I need another tow.
Very racist rude from staff to the owner caught the guy going through my sister stuff money came up missing. Caught the guy lying to police horrible business
I had a great experience. The call for a estimate was quick and courteous. The wait for the tow truck was quicker then the estimated time. The driver was extremely polite and knowledgeable.
