ARCHAIC! Refused to take my full cash payment when I offered it up front. Staff had no idea what they were doing and dragged my sister into it instead of dealing with me directly. Outdated systems, no clear payment info, and zero professionalism. Never again.

I have been coming to Feather River Park Resort since I was a 1 year old, I have only skipped a few years when living out of state. The tradition started with my grandparents 50 years ago. So it comes with a heavy heart that I say, after leaving a day early, with my wife and 7 month old that the cabin conditions have become deplorable. We started considering leaving on Tuesday after arriving on Saturday. Before the rodent issue…The cabin was slanted, floors filthy, fireplace full of half burnt wood and soot. The refrigerator blocked a quarter of the door passage, had visible chewed marks in the back from rodents and lacked the normal plastic parts that allow for storage in the doors. The beds are deplorable, squeaky, sinking to the middle, and one can only imagine what might be living in the mattress. The two interior chairs, porch chairs and hammock are filthy, old and uncomfortable. The mix match of plates and utens A electronic mouse trap with visible mouse droppings was on the side of the range, the other side of the range had no trap, just mouse droppings.

This would be negative stars, but I had to chose 1 star. Our cabin was completely unlevel, it was like walking up and down a hill going from room to room. The fridge didn’t fit in its space and didn’t have any fixtures for the door, so we couldn’t store anything in it. There were mice droppings EVERYWHERE and we saw more than 2 mice in the kitchen. There was an old trap in the kitchen that the front desk said was one of the bad ones so they dropped off a few more of the snap type traps for us to set up. One mouse got caught that way. Then we saw a mouse climb into a dresser drawer at night while our infant couldn’t sleep because of the noises from it. The floors were so incredible dirty. All of the mattresses were slanted and creaky. The bath faucet was detached from the wall and was either freezing cold or scalding hot. The oven had to be cleaned out before using. There countless spiders in all of the beds. None of the curtain rods were secured to the walls. All of the linen items and hammock were dirty. There was a nail sticking out of one of the 2 chairs. We had to clean EVERYTHING in order to use it: chairs, kitchen items, shower, toilet, sink, grill, etc. There were holes in the walls. There is more but this is all the time I want to spend on this.

The furniture was chosen by some malevolent mind to be uncomfortable for all humans.

Nice rooms but a little over priced. Staff could be a little more helpful and could at least speak English. The office did go out of their way to accommodate me even though I did have to swap rooms. Over all I really can't complain this is a nice resort for being out in the boonies.

Really nice laid back resort.. no luxuries just basic amenities but enough to rate it higher than glamping .. lots to do around the resort , lakes and rivers and Graegle ,ca is a beautiful little town..

45 years in cabin 27. Yay. My kids always loved it. How many grown kids want to vacation with their mother. They grew up coming here and still love it. Now grandkids are enjoying it also.

4/5 so people looking for a "5 star" experience, don't get mislead. It is rustic... cabins, no TV,, poor internet and cell coverage, but for those who want to "unhook" it is 5/5...Very fun for multi family gathering! We've been going 40 years. Love the setting, love the pple.

We come here every year for a week with our Families. It's like a family reunion for us, but the best place to come and enjoy nature, swimming, hiking, biking, golf and a walk to town to support the Local Business.

Use too love coming here it was great for kids but people were unfriendly, we had dirty sheets with mice poop, and dirty blankets under bed. It not how I remember it. Sad

Great folks running this place. Found my lost kayak for me as well. Hope to golf there soon. Fairways look like they are in great shape. Enjoy.

Was here for a wedding and loved the set-up and vibe of the entire place. Perfect for families and dog-friendly. Loved walking by all the different cabins and saying hello to everyone hanging out on their front porches. Staff was very friendly and helpful too.

My most favorite place on the entire planet. There is magic here and if you get a chance to come, you should. Get ready to relax and let the stress melt away. The towns of Graeagle and Blairsden havent changed in the 40 years I have been coming. And they seem to be on track to continue that way. Its truly a mountain paradise.

Spent the early and late part of my teen years spending summers here in cabin #13 with my family. Last time was in 1980. Started coming back 3 years ago, same cabin It's like my yearly escape.

Started going to Feather River Park Resort in the early '60s and some portion of the family has continued to go until the 2010's.amazing place to go. The most family friendly place we've ever found.

Excellent proximity to a great deal of amenities and a lot of friendly, sociable people. The nearby towns are charming and full of excellent eateries and you can always find a hike to take you into the woods.

A wonderful place. My family has been going here for years and we have created lasting memories here. If you can get a reservation YOU SHOULD GO!

My family have been going here for over 50 years - since my mom's mom found an ad for it in a magazine and figured the golf course would provide an excellent excuse to pull my grandpa away from the office for a week with the fam ;) Good choice grandma! Now, generations later, it's still one of (if not my #1) favorite trip of the year. Just being up in the mountains, away from technology is so peaceful that it leaves you wondering why you even bother with the internet in the first place.

You wake at 8:00 am, grab a croissant and coffee, and walk 100 feet to the clubhouse, where you pick up the key to your cart. "Cabin 17," you say. The first tee is 50 feet away. And by 8:15 (or pick a time: there's no crowd) you are out on the first tee, a nifty little par-3 lined on one side by 150 foot pines, planted when Feather River Park Resort was first conceived back in the 1910s. Golf passes are weekly, carts and and bike rentals are a nominal daily charge. There are two pools and two tennis courts, but this is really about family and golf, and large, shady decks where one can read (or BBQ) in zen like peace.||||The resort's 40 or so log cabins, surrounded by high pines, are rustic, to be sure. Internet, when you get it, is painfully slow. And if you are looking for a dishwasher, there's always the mirror. It's not for everyone, but that's the point. If you want to commune with your son and law or wife and kids 36 holes a day, or cycle arduously through some of the most spectacular Sierra scenery imaginable, you might like this place.

Great place to go with children. Very low key. If you want to have a family vacation without all the social media and television this is the place. Kids actually playing, riding bikes, swimming, ping pong, tennis. Great!!!

This is a somewhat biased review as our family has been coming to Feather River for over 35 years. What started as a getaway week for mom and dad has turned into a multigenerational gathering for our clan. Feather River is truly a family focused place, with plenty for the kids to do. The kids mostly love the pool, riding bikes, the lodge, and making treks to the creek and river. We also do hikes and star gazing. The views are incredible and the smell of the trees is something I never get tired of. The cabins themselves are basic, without frills, but since we get three cabins we can find the needed utensil or pot or pan in one of them. We generally buy groceries and make all of our meals at the cabins. There are restaurant options in the area. While I have never golfed a hole in the many years I have been there, most of our family does and enjoys having easy access to the course. We love Graeagle and Blairsden and look forward to our visit each year.

Unplug for a week every year at FRPR with family. The rustic log cabins are charming but comfortable. The lodge, pool, tennis courts and golf course provide a wonderful retreat each summer. Enjoying the outdoors and slow pace with quality family time. Highly recommended.

If you're looking for a place to disconnect and commune with nature without giving up creature comforts, this is the place. The rustic log cabins are as close to roughing it without having to give up hot showers, electricity, clean beds. Our clan has been gathering here for the past 20 years with each family having their own cabin.

This is "getting away from it ALL", at its' finest. A beautiful alpine valley in the Sierra Nevada Mountains in Northern California is the location of this family friendly, adult pleasing resort. Thirty six 100 + year old real log cabins surround the golf course where beginner and seasoned player alike can play a few holes, or all day! Or maybe tennis is your game, and afterwards, a swim in the pool, one each for toddlers, 'Tweens, or adults. Bicyles are available for rides to the nearby Frosty Place or Boutique shopping. It is a hiker and mountain bikers' paradise, and fishermen will find the Feather River within easy walking distance. || The housekeeping cabins are fully equipped, with kitchens and bathrooms and heat, should the mornings be chilly. The staff is always ready to help, wether you need an extra pillow or your bike tire fixed, and they know your name, too! Large porches furnished with a picnic table, Adirondack chairs and a hammock invite you to chat with your neighbors and supervise the barbeque at the same time. Groceries and/or fine dinning are nearby. This beloved playground has seen 3 or 4 generations of some families; we first stayed 35 years ago and hope for many more.

This place is amazing. My family has been coming here for over 20 years. Love the golf, its a unique course thats for sure, always fun. Cabins are great, love being able to get away from it all, no TVs or phones, etc. So much to do in the area, fishing, tubing, 18 holes courses, hiking, the list goes on. I look forward to coming to FRPR every year, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great relaxing vacation.
