i've never written a bad review before, but Vince and Robert and how the treated me is absolutely crazy (9/22/25 near closing). Maybe if it was only one time i would give them 3 stars, but the few times i have come in grey shirt guy always has a bad attitude like he dont want to be there. I came in for a refund and showed them both confirmation emails to pick up. They both said this was not the right email. I felt as if they thought I was trying to scam them or something cause these were the only emails AutoZone sent me. They stared at me like i was dumb and proceeded to talk to me in a demeaning way for the rest of the disagreement. After a while (5-8 minutes) of me telling them that this is only email/reciept i have, they finally scanned the original barcode i showed them. It worked…..finally they gave me my money back. Although im sure not all the employees are rude and incompetent, I am very upset and will not be a returning customer nor recommend anyone go to this location.
Came in to return an oxygen sensor. Monica ,rolling her eyes, without checking my account details refused to accept it. Said it has been installed. It was handled but the connector was different. Regardless , she refused to adhere to the return policy...no scratches no wrench marks.
Came to charge my battery for my 2007 Mazda they said it was bad and I didn’t think anything of it as I had let my Mazda sis for like 3 weeks figured maybe that killed it, about 1 week later I bring the battery from my 2014 Cruze which I just left on accessories and left my phone charging and a few things on overnight by accident when my car didn’t start I knew the battery had just died, this battery is from auto zone the Duralast gold one as well as the other battery I had previously bought they said this one was bad now this is where I thought smth was up cause I just bought this battery less than a year ago, so I go to the auto zone on beach and they said it was a good battery and charged it to 96% so I’m now I’m thinking of taking my other battery to them as well. I’m only leaving this review in case this happens to you, if they say it’s bad take it elsewhere. Good luck

I needed a new wiper blade and came here to buy the correct part for my car. I wanted to replace the old wiper blade on my car because the weather had been getting misty and foggy. My old blade was leaving some watery streak marks on my windshield. So, it was time to get a new wiper blade.
When I walked through the front door, I was immediately greeted and assisted by the store manager Steve who quickly looked up the specific wiper blade information for my car, based on the year, make and model of my car.
Then, Steve went outside and removed the old blade and installed the new wiper blade on my car, for no extra charge. He checked the new wiper blade to make sure it was working properly. It worked well. Thank you to AutoZone for their courteous customer service!
Came in looking for brake pads and rotors. Lisa was kind enough to help me out with picking the right ones for my car. Made the process of everything stress free. Will be my main store from now on.
Worse customer service ever . I came in today April 3 , 2025 around 6 pm . They are not busy I ask for help seems like they are too busy to talk to each other . Not willing to help . And rude . 3 of them are available. Owner need to keep an eye on them . Review your camera. Never I go back here again
Best customer service ever! Silvester was of great help. I came in looking for brake fluid and he went above and beyond to take a look at my car. I was having suspicions that my car might have a brake fluid leak and he looked under my car and reassured me that the only thing that was dripping was water from running the AC all day. Give him a raise for his professionalism and his knowledge of cars!
Number 1 customer service from the manager. I went to this place for the first time oil and filter recycling around 1:50 pm - 1:55 pm. His attitude was not friendly and looked like no welcome "go to the back and turn left". "you have to take your container" without explanation. Some stores just give them and leave. Some stores i do by myself but they have trash can. Other guys are friendly. One of them explained they don't have a big trash can - I'm ok - why not explained. And the other let me know the number 1 guy is the manager. When I walked by the number 1 guy to go out, i let him know you're the manager but your attitude was not nice/friendly. He said i did. I pointed to the camera and said you can check the camera. We stood under the camera.
About 5:30 pm Jun 10, 2024: I return fuses! I met a sale manager ( because I saw on name card on his chest), I don’t remember his name. He is not nice, unhappy… I feel uncomfortable about him! I dislike him so much.
Excellent service by wonderful people! The staff were all very nice in welcoming me in and answering all my inquiries. John and Joey in particular helped me with product information and decisions all while making me feel like an old time friend hanging out. Thank you for the amazing service, conversations, and new car battery! My car broke down in their parking lot and not only did I get the replacement, I got a new area/store to visit for fun when I'm in town! Also, shout-out to Gabriel, this store's regular that kept me company during my visit! A great store with great customers and service!
I came to replace my battery since I still had a warranty on it and Lisa gave me a brand new battery with 2 additional warranty years. Abdiel took care of the installation and the entire crew provided me with excellent customer service. I am very happy with the professionalism, kindness and friendliness they showed me. First of all I would like to thank Jonathan for going out and beyond. I arrived at auto zone located on new land and Westminster on a rainy day. The skirt on the back fender was missing a bolt and Jonathan made sure he found the right one that fit. He didn’t care that the floor was wet . He laid down on the floor getting wet and made sure he put that bolt in . The staff also helped and were so kind. Thank you again Jonathan. Ps to the manger at this location please, I would recommend giving Jonathan a raise for such great work. He truly deserves it.
I been using this location 10+ years at this point. Always great customer service from all of them. They have given me the wrong parts but to their defense a good mechanic always brings his own part to double check. I have their batteries, breaks, coils, alternators, starters, tools, cleaning supplies for cars, repair books, jumper cables, etc in all my four cars and my parents cars. And I have used their lifetime warranty quite a few times. I love the fact that when I go camping there is always one close by, if I need to go in for a warranty or anything I might need for my car. It has not happened yet, but it might and they will be there. They are always helping outside too, checking cars, wipers and the whole thing. Great location, highly recommended.
Came in to get battery for my car and John help me install it right away. He saw that my headlight was uneven so he went far beyond by helping me adjusting it also. Had a wonderful customer service and experience with John. Thank you.
Came to get new car battery and Lisa was able to assist me. She was very friendly, patient, and helpful. She showed me all the options, pricing, and even provided recommendations. Store was also neat and organized, which made it easy to navigate and find things.
I came in for some windshield wipers and Lisa was able to help me find the right ones! She even spoke Vietnamese with me, which was awesome ! She provided me with excellent service and gave me all my options as well as what she would personally recommend! The store was clean and easy to locate what I needed! Thanks again Lisa for the help! Great customer service, I came in last week with my uncle that needed an axle and shocks for his car. We were helped by an employee named Lisa and she was able to explain to him what the parts were that she was showing him in Vietnamese which was a great help with it being that I'm not fluent. She was very friendly and patient with my uncle and I greatly appreciated her for that.
Excellent service by young man who was willing to banter and out up with my father's humor! Which is hard to hear, bear with , and even respond to since he's a character you'd never expect to come in joking around the way he was. Thanks again for laughing at his jokes and and making him laugh! Oh and the oil there is great haha
I came in needing help changing my battery. I was assisted by Kevin and Jeff. Jeff changed my battery and did an excellent job! I am no longer scared to drive my truck and have it die. Thanks guys!!! Jeff deserves a raise he went above and beyond the call of duty!
Very Helpful people..Had to change my battery and one place couldn't change it becase they were short of hands.. this other one, we waited 40 minutes instead of 10 to get it replaced... this Man who had a bad day.. changed it with a very good attitude... Manager David was very helpful too
Manager replaced my new battery it took a little persuasion but in the end i was starting to get a little mad then he said just swap the batterys ! Good move I was happy and they have a good manager there to make quick decisions that are fair. Thanks to both the people that night . good customer service will bring me back.. !!
This store is the epitome of what customer service should be. If you can communicate your needs without an attitude, I recommend this location. This review is solely for the current manager Tommy and any contributing team member who took part in helping me get my exhaust manifold gasket. Tommy came in on his day off to personally see through my situation. Get this man a raise or something!
I’m not big on chain stores but the manager went out of his way to show me how to deal with my car so I’m aware of inexpensive fixes. He even suggested a certain part they carry but were much more expensive so without hesitation he told me to save money on this one item from another vendor. Their cool I’ll be back.
I visited this Auto Zone a little after 6 pm today along with my two boys and their father. I initially decided to stop in to pick something up to clean spilled coolant off of my engine. While my children's father looked for a product that could do that, I figured I would ask the cashier for advice because my car started making a knocking noise that day as well. The cashier wasn't sure how to help but he did proceed to search for something that might. I told him that after doing some research online, I read that the knocking could be due to a bad air-fuel mixture. I don't think he found an answer to my question because he had to tend to other customers wanting to check out. Another employee, an older man came up to me and asked me in a stern tone what he could help me with. I told him, "Well, I already talked to the other guy." He then proceeded to say in a passive-aggressive tone that he is not a mechanic and has no clue what I might be able to do it other than to go to a mechanic shop and have it looked at. I am not saying that I wouldn't be willing to do that but I was just looking for any possible quick fix that I could try. He told me to go down to Firestone right then and the location as well. The father of my children then came up to me with the product that we were going to use to clean the coolant with. He was telling me something about it when the man said, "Oh, you want me to ring that up?" And he said, "Well, I was telling her that this is what we would use to clean the coolant off of her engine." The man then snatched it out of his hand and said, "No, that wouldn't work." And proceeded to send me out of the store to a place that was closed. We feel that he was just trying to push us out because he thought we were going to steal something. We could be wrong but either way, I am very unhappy with my experience here today. The employees did not seem very interested in helping their customers. Do better guys!
I came to return the snowchain I didn’t use for my roadtrip, the chain is brand new and in original package I have the receipt as well but the old guy at the cashier name John kept yelling (he literally yelled) at me because I’m returning not at the same store I bought it since the other store was on my way to Yosemite and this one is close to my house but still as a customer I don’t see any problem with it since it’s not against their return policy. I’m probably fine if they didn’t let me return it and asked me to go back to original store but yelling at me is not acceptable. Fortunately an his coworker came out and settled down, he was totally opposite the other guy, super nice and politely explained to me why they don’t want to take it, he was the one who saved the this rating not to be the 1 star rating.
