There were 3 staff members in the front. 1 was helping another customer. The other 2 pretended they didn’t see me waiting to purchase and gave zero acknowledgement. Will not be going back.
Walked in today, and there were three other customers in the store.
No one said hello, or offered assistance.
I spent approximately 11 minutes in the store 4 different isles.
Still, no one offered assistance.
Walked out of the store and will not be going back.
I called ahead to confirm if they do battery service at this location. I was told yes, so I came over.
When asked in-person, the older gent then then tells me that they cannot help me because there were only two of them there.
Why couldn't you have told me that information when I said I was coming over? You wasted my time and my gas!
I will forever be thankful to Mr. Anthony for being such an awesome person willing to go above and beyond, exceeding my expectations. He’s very knowledgeable, kind and hard working.
I went in to see about a return, not only did he have the best recommendation but he cares the customers and was able to fix what was done by 1 product but I also needed a new headlight…. I was kinda pushing it out but he took the time to go outside, inspect and helped me with purchasing the correct product.
What blew me away even more was he didn’t hesitate to walk out with me and right there change out the headlight for me within a matter of 10 minutes I from walking in I was driving off with a huge smile. Anthony is a wholeheartedly devoted and dedicated person who is a blessing and provided the best service possible!

I went in because I was experiencing battery issues, and asked if they could check my battery. The man behind the counter was jolly and happy to help! He checked, told me my battery was bad [as expected], and helped me buy a new one. Answered all my questions, helped remove the old and install the new battery, and was thorough about everything. Never had any issues here with prior visits either. Helpful, nice, convenient, and i'll be sure to pop in again. Thanks for making the experience painless!
I had purchased windshield wiper blades the day before planning to install them myself. As it turned out, I couldn’t so I returned on Friday around 9:30AM with my receipt . His name was either Edward or George who helped me, but he was friendly, professional just an all around nice guy! He is a true testament to customer service and I wanted to just say thanks again !
Incompetent service. Both headlights not working. Young lady checked my fuses and older man told me to go to auto mechanic because there was problem with the on/off switch.
I went to O'Reilly Auto Supply, they checked bulbs which were burned out, replaced bulbs and all was fixed.
On Jan. 1 New Years Eve, I discovered my drivers side left headlight was out, and so was my passenger side right brake light! The next day Jan. 2, I drove my car, a 2005 Lexus, to the AutoZone on Newport in Tustin, to buy bulbs. I was surprised it was busy. There were so many customers it was quite a wait. Finally, my turn. Jose was working two registers and he asked me to be patient, so I was. When he got me my two bulbs, he offered to help me since I have no idea how to do this, and installed the bulbs very quickly! Lights fixed, I appreciate the great service at AutoZone. Thanks!
So I walked in just to kill some time and see what new project I wanted to start when I met Alexis and Anthony. They approached me in a a personal way and made me feel comfortable and not like I felt obligated to buy half the store like a lot of these places do these days. They were really personable and instead of feeling like I am just a outsider customer I felt like a friend coming to get advice and help. Best personal relations I have seen and felt ever! They should be teaching communications for this company! They rocked!
Anthony and Alexis gave me wonderful service today. Anthony assisted me in checking my battery and when I was going to buy a tool to do a quick battery change, he offered me to use the stores used tools instead. Once I started to work on changing the battery, Alexis came to check up on me and offered to assist fixing my license plate that was hanging on one screw. Thanks for the great service!

Alexis h came to the rescue when I got to my local autozone and my car was smoking due to a radiator issue. She came out right away, eager to help. And we figured out what the problem was. She researched and found what parts. I needed even tried calling mobile mechanics, but that wasn't needed because. We solved the issue on our own with her help.She guided me with what I needed to replace the part.And I saved a ton of money and I am able to go to work tomorrow.
Alexis was tremendously helpful serving me today at the Newport Autozone. She helped explain to me why a particular oil was better from my vehicle and also recommended some items that I would need that I didn’t think of. She also, made sure that my experience dropping off oil was smooth and offered me hand towels and cleaning pads. Her kindness and dedication to the overall customer experience should be recognized.

Very good , quick service nice patient counter man. Got decent price stuff equal or better quality than Amazon and you can see what you are getting. Definitely recommend for not just auto parts, but tools. I bought a tire pressure gauge for same price as on Amazon, but better quality.

I've been to this AutoZone several times over the last couple of months and am consistently impressed by the cleanliness of the store and the friendliness of the employees working here. I've always received excellent service, and didn't feel too intimidated to ask questions and learn more about my vehicle and how to maintain it well. Staffers such as Gabi and Fernando have helped me find what I need quickly and efficiently, even helping me change out my headlights and windshield wipers as they needed it. I'd highly recommend this location. It's also just off the freeway, which is convenient for someone who is always on the go, like me.
