I had a very negative experience at this recycling center because of one of the workers. He treated me with complete disrespect. Even though I was first in line, he told me to go to the back, spoke to me rudely, and then went behind the building to weigh my bottles where I couldn’t see. That felt dishonest, and it left me questioning if I was actually paid what I was owed. When I calmly asked him why he was being so rude, he told me that if I didn’t like it, I could just go somewhere else. This behavior is unacceptable. I do not recommend this location, and I strongly believe management needs to take action against this employee, especially since there have been repeated complaints about this place.

Even though she was the first in line, he told her to go to the back, spoke to her with a bad attitude, and then moved behind the building to weigh the bottles out of her sight. This felt dishonest and left us questioning whether we were given the correct payout. When my mother politely asked why he was being rude, he told her that if she didn’t like it, she could take her business elsewhere. This kind of behavior is unacceptable. I strongly do not recommend this place, and I believe management should address this employee immediately given the repeated poor experiences being reported.
Very bad experience his so disrespectful. Very extremely RUDE!!! His his own self boss and if he doesn’t like his job he should quit him/son have issues if they don’t like there job just quite!!! Don’t give us your attitude!
The man working was very rude. Told me no one was there and he didn’t know why the “Open” sign was there. I waited a bit longer and asked if he knew when someone would be back to help and he decided to do his job. He was then very rude about their rules for where to put glass which aren’t posted anywhere and said the mesh wasn’t strong enough for glass (I had almost nothing in it). I doubt I’ll be back to this location.
This guy was very rude and aggressive towards me , when I wasn’t aware of the rules he had because the sign wasn’t visible and verbally told me in an aggressive manner saying “No service” to me because I didn’t follow his instructions, don’t do business with that man. From the beginning his attitude towards me was already rude when I didn’t speak Spanish. However he was helpful and friendly with the customer I front of me who spoke Spanish.
I came to maps to see if this place was still open and then saw the reviews. I thought I was the only person this guy yelled at but I guess not. Its not worth the aggravation so I went to Ponce Recycling instead even though its a little farther. They are so much nicer and also more efficient.
Every time I come here this guy just complains about everything I do . He doesn't tell you nicely ,he just yells at you and I don't know all the rules for this place but he shouldn't yell at customers!!
Absolutely disgusted with the attendant . He is racist and said disgusting things in front of my stepson. Would not give me his name. Do not waste your time going there. Absolutely horrible human being.
Go elsewhere. The attendant cited in other reviews as rude and arrogant is all that and more. The owner of this business should replace him. I will not be returning.
If I could give a 0 I would. The guy was rude to me, when he asked my name and I spelled it he was rude and when I tried to correct the spelling he grabbed Mt hand and pulled it away from the paper. Also got less money than I normally do despite having more stuff than usual. Totally stole from me. Don't go here
Do Not come here!!!! The Mexican guy is SUPER RUDE. He talks to you like trash. He has no manners at all. I understand there’s people like that but this dude is only rude to guys, unless you a are a nice looking lady, he will smile at you and be nice otherwise he’s A** . If you come 20 minutes before closing he will tell you he has no more money and that it’s closed. The first time he told me that I was cool about it but this is my fourth time. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE.

The guy who runs the place is nice and on time. I’ve been coming here for the last few years and don’t have a reason to go anywhere else. The hours listed online are incorrect, so I uploaded a picture of the hours posted on a sign today (4/15/2023).
I go here because it is so close to where I live but if there was another place near by I’d go there. The guy is very rude and definitely has a chip on his shoulders.
The only problem that I have is that I do not see anywhere where it lets you know what time they close for lunch. the only thing that says is "closes 4PM" I got to the place at 12:03pm and there was a sign on the Door stating that they are closed til 1pm. This is very important information for people to know and it should be posted.
If you sort your recyclables beforehand, you can get in and out in less than 5 minutes assuming that the line isn't too long. The worker on site is friendly and works quickly. Just try to avoid going there around 12 PM since that's when he takes his lunch break and you'll have to wait an hour or so before he gets back. Not the cleanest place, but if you need to dump your recyclables for some quick cash and go, I would recommend Recycling Planet.
Rude! I came to this center because my normal one was closed. I walk up to the front with a couple small, presorted bags as the guy is helping someone with a ton of cans. He looks at me with a disgustedlook and says "lunchtime" then turns around and ignores me. So rude and unnecessary. I will go elsewhere and will not be back to this place.
