My mother’s favorite market to shop. Great prices. Great stock. Produce is a deal. The other shelf imported products are very pricey. Also the workers are non friendly. The people who stock shelves speak no English only Spanish. Great deal in their fresh meat department.
Good food but service, not so much. Every time I’ve ordered food and have asked for a specific pickup time, they’ve never had it ready and I’ve had to wait over 30 minutes for them to have the food ready.
Extremely unorganized and lack customer service. But they don’t care since they’re the only Persian market with decent food in the area.
My go-to for fresh meat and vegetables. Lots of interesting international foods and the restaurant side offers great food and the bakery offers freshly baked breads and desserts. Can be a bit crowded but worth it.

Don't typically give bad reviews. Only stop using services, but this grocery store offers fresh produce at a reasonable price. It's the restaurant that not being managed properly. Ordered a celery stew over the phone at 5:45 received a text at 6:42 for pick up. Celery stew is not made to order like Kabobs, so shouldn't take that long. The fellow named, maybe Ali ? was good with words, but not so good in delivering actions. The stew was cold with humongous unbeatable pieces of meat. This was not the first-time I received bad service, but first-time decided to inform the management.

Ive really liked coming here for some time. However! My issue is their chicken. It's happened a few times, for example. Yesterday I was there by 930 am bought two whole chicken breast. Take it home straight to the fridge. Today I pull it out 24 hrs later and it already smells like rotten eggs. Which tells me ofcourse it's not fresh and already spoiling when I purchased it. Im going to attempt to return it however parking is so hideous I'm not looking forward to it. I'm definitely not going repurchase again from here. Sad as I've been coming here for years.
It was a great experience overall. The staff were extremely friendly and patient, and the food was high quality with very reasonable prices. I really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it
I was Extremely disappointed with my visit to bakery on Saturday morning January 24, 2026.
I purchased their Sangak bread , unfortunately I found a hair embedded in the bread baked into the center. I wanted to bring this to your attention so you can check your production area, as it ruined the experience I had to throw the bread away. Hygiene is paramount in food service. I hope they improve their food safety protocols, such as ensuring hairnets are worn.
I will not be returning.
Great local market with a solid selection. Mission Ranch Market is clean, well-organized, and easy to shop in. The produce is fresh, the meat quality is excellent, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. It’s one of those neighborhood markets you’re happy to have nearby.
I purchased lamb feet and Lamb tongue and both are having dark and black spots on them and I wonder if they are safe to eat or not. I only can go grocery shopping to mission ranch market once a week because it is far and it is very much disappointing to see quality of meat has been dropped and prices are going up. This is disrespect to the costumers and their time. Maybe we should try other Persian stores or even Mexico stores for better price and quality. I have a picture of items mentioned above but I don’t know how to upload them.
I tried shopping at Mission Ranch Market, and overall it was a very good experience. The products are fresh, and they have a great selection of halal meat, which is a big plus. Prices are reasonable and fair compared to the quality and variety offered. The store is well-stocked and convenient for everyday shopping. I’d give it 4.2 out of 5 ⭐ for freshness, halal options, and value for money.
The meat section is fine, but the bakery feels like a trap. No prices are displayed, and when I politely asked, the lady working there ignored the question even though she clearly understood when taking the order. Only after everything was packed did she finally say the price, which was shockingly high (around 5× normal market value). At that point, it felt awkward to walk away, and I can’t help but feel they rely on that situation. Very disappointing and misleading experience, avoid the bakery unless you’re okay with surprise prices.
Small place with big potential! I’d call it the Mediterranean Trader Joe’s. Everything is fresh and reasonably priced. The bakery is superb, the deli is amazing, and the produce is top-notch.
Wide selection of international foods, non-organic fruits and vegetables. I also liked their fresh bakery and freshly made flat bread, so delicious!!? I can understand why it's always SO CROWDED, even during the week. I guess I'll have to try going super early, hoping not to be so crowded.?
You’ll find a lot here! It has some native food from other countries like Slavic (sausages, cottage cheese, nuts, desserts).
The people are very, very friendly and the employees/cashiers extremely nice and enthusiastic about their jobs. They love people and interacting.
The store is big, with a fresh food section, a deli section, nuts, bread, dairy, sweets, and packaged foods.

Best place for affordable fresh produce. I always find the best deals and the freshest vegetables and fruits here. They have a lot of imported fruits and nuts that taste amazing and you can't find anywhere else. I also bought a bar of Dubai chocolate there. They had many types of Dubai chocolates, ranging from $10-$20 per bar. They also have the best bakery with fresh cakes, cookies and breads
The blue berries were extraordinarily fresh, the store was very nice with very friendly faces everywhere, I felt at home. I would love to visit again and I highly recommend this to everyone. The Halal Marshmallows were out of this world amazing, they put me in the highest Jannah just for a moment and I would go back for these anytime. Scrumptious, juicy, melt in your mouth goodness worth Allah SWT’s blessings. Mashallah for this place to anyone in the area 11/10 rating. Just pure happiness and tranquility while shopping.
This is by far the best Persian market I've visited in the USA and I have been to many Persian/Middle Eastern markets in different states. This market offers a great selection of Persian products, fresh bread, and tasty dishes at reasonable prices. The sultani kabab and shirazi ash were amazing, and the customer service is exceptional. Their confectionery, olives, cold cuts, and Zeiton Parvarde are all fantastic as well. This is my go-to place for Persian groceries whenever I'm in the area. I highly recommend this market and envy anyone lucky enough to live nearby! ?
Bakery is ok, except it gives you the super hot sangak bread which should be cooled down before giving it to the customer. Also the kitchen kabobs are meh, really not exciting. Also no free water for the dine in tables which is weird. For gorecry shopping its a fine store.
Great store, much better than its counter part Wholesome Choice in Irvine, and in my opinion worth the extra drive. They have a great selection of product and international products. They have very good made Sangak bread. Very good pastries and very good Persian food with their built in restaurant. People complaining about the busy parking lot and such are just complainers and every grocery store is about the same. It has a cozy feeling to sit inside and eat and get yourself a tea as well after your great meal. Staff is friendly and willing to explain the multiple options of food. Always come here instead of Wholesome Choice which has seriously gone downhill as far as cleanliness and freshness.
Update: Wholesome choice has reorganized many of their things. Their meat department still stinks very bad. Overall the store looks really good and I would recommend going now as well. That store I have been going to since I was a kid (wholesome choice). Different things for different people, both great, Mission Ranch is more authentic feeling I’d say though.
Very large middle eastern market. Everything is well laid out and clean. The bakery seems super popular. The Dubai chocolate tart was disgusting but the other items were ok.
????Update from previous review, place is still highly chaotic both inside the store and outside in the parking lot and still desperately needs traffic officers. The store has lots of different items, meats, kosher meats, fruit, cheese, fresh sushi, sweets, rice, canned items, lottery stand, table booths to sit and eat, washroom, etc. Staff is humble and polite, good knowledge of items, place is very clean.?Staff not very accomodating, place was huge, but completely chaotic, they need traffic cops & traffic lights in there...People moving around in a daze as if they are in Leisure World, in complete slow motion, not paying any attention where they are going...The staff doesn't seem to know where half their products are...
Late post - recently visited Mission Ranch Market, and overall, it was a fantastic experience! This busy Middle Eastern grocery store has a lot to offer. The onsite deli was impressive, and the fresh bread was a hit with everyone. I also appreciated the wide selection of fresh veggies, all at surprisingly affordable prices.
The market includes a dried fruits and nuts bar, which is a nice touch for those looking to try a variety of flavors. While the parking lot is small and can be a bit hectic due to the high volume of customers, the vibrant atmosphere is part of its charm.
I initially considered giving them 3 stars, service is quite slow, and not all veggies are affordable. Lines take a long time to move but the Koobideh I tried was absolutely superb—definitely a highlight of my visit!

I have driven past this shopping center thousands of times but never thought to stop in. Their selection of unique food items is like nothing else I've ever seen. They have very fresh produce, including hard to find items. Their on-site deli has a vast selection of Boar's Head meats. There's a full bakery that was churning out an incredible flat bread whose name escapes me at the moment. They also have a bunch of pastry options. The parking lot was a bit crazy, but I found a spot almost immediately. Try not to leave your cart in the lot since that's a naughty thing to do. Return your cart.
Fresh fruits ? and vegetables ?. You can find the Middle East choices. In addition, they offer middle eastern and international groceries. The bakery ? is delicious with all Persian and Arabic desserts. The place has it all. Prices are very reasonable, as well. Try the restaurant when you are there. They have Halal “Kusher” and non-halal food ?. I tried the beef ? sultani and it’s really authentic and delicious. This is a revisit to the store. I assure you that it’s even better than my last visit.
