Went to the dealer to drive a BRZ, they said I could drive a used or new one. I came in talked about purchasing the BRZ or the GR86 and essentially told me to get lost. The second I told them I was looking into a different car they didn’t even give me the option to test drive the BRZ, what a great sales tactic.

They always treat me well at this dealership, from the day I bought my car here and through every service appointment I’ve been through. They are all friendly, respectful, and go the extra mile. I always leave thinking about how great their customer service is and how rare it is to get that kind of treatment anywhere. Today I was helped by Sam Flores, who totally fit the description of service above. I came in for a battery replacement because my battery died a few months before the warranty expired. Sam took care of it and kept me up to date while they tested and replaced it, and even threw in a free software update for the dashboard system. Thank you so much, Sam! It’s so good to have a dealership you can trust to be honest with you, and treat you so well. They clearly know how to get people coming back for more.

Received help from Sam Flores getting my Crosstrek serviced and she was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Quotes for parts were competitive with other providers and it felt much more like a conversation rather than a sales pitch. The work and responses felt timely and considerate. I will be coming back here next time I need work done.

I bought a 2022 crosstrek brand new from this dealership. Ive had the pleasure of dealing with Sam Flores for most of my routine service appointments. Sam is EXTREMELY friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable when it comes to answering any questions ive had about service on my car. Ive put on 52,000 miles so far, and i will continue to come to irvine subaru for all my maintenance in the future. Thank you Sam for being so helpful!

I took my Imprezza in for regular service, 4 new tires, alignment, and new bushings on 01/20. The service I received from Pedro Moreno was amazing. The car was ready that night. On 01/23 I brought my Imprezza in for another issue and Sam Flores remembered me being there on 01/23 and assisted me with prompt service. Sam checked me in and gave me a timeline of what would happen. Within the hour, I received a call from Sam explaing the situation with my car. After I approved, Sam made sure that my car would be done that evening. I'm extremely satisfied with the excellent service I received from Franks Irvine Subaru. My Impreza runs like new!! ?

Brought my Outback in for an oil and filters change including engine air filter and cabin air filter. Waited at the dealership and got the car back one and a half hours later and thought everything was fine. Well, at the next oil change a few months later, another dealership showed me all the filters weren't changed!!! Good thing I didn't come back to Frank's Subaru and I have been telling all my friends and family about this dealership...

I came to the Subaru Service at Frank’s Irvine Subaru 3 times with my 2018 Subaru Outback asking them to check the driver’s tire. Everytime I went they said it was fine and after I left the tire pressure kept going down. It seems like they did not even inspect the tire and just filled the tire up. I drive 2 hours on the freeway everyday so safety is extremely important to me. It seems like this Subaru no longer cares about their customer’s safety. I am extremely disappointed with Subaru Service and no longer recommend them for your Subaru needs.

I purchased my Forrester at Frank’s Subaru in 2020. It has been a dream of a car, And each and every time I take it in for service I have an amazing experience! Michele was my most recent service writer, she offers suggestions, finds any discounts possible, and makes sure all recalls and factory covered repairs are done quickly and right, the first time! I had a few items that failed very near the expired warranty covered time period, and they covered them! It was a pleasant surprise. When I have had extended repairs, I was offered and accepted a loaner vehicle, which was a great way to experience a different model of Subaru. Prices are fair, repairs are done right…and if it requires a master mechanic….they have fully trained and experienced mechanics. Michele, Leo, and others I am not able to name right now, are great examples of valued employees. Also, the gentlemen who will drop you off somewhere when needed, is the most polite and friendly guy! Thank you, Frank’s Subaru, for embodying the Subaru spirit of great vehicles, great service, and a great community member, being involved in supporting those in need, cleaning the environment, and enjoying life!!

Late last month I brought my 2019 Crosstrek in for an oil change, and to have the technicians there look into a TPMS error message that kept popping up. It had been some time since my car was last serviced, so I wasn’t shocked to learn that there was quite a bit of work that needed to be done to get it back in tip top shape. The service bill was about $2800, but that covered new tires, a realignment, new brakes, struts, tire pressure sensors, a passenger sun visor and a new head unit (I think that was everything). The folks there set me up with a rental, and were easy to work with. Shout out to Sam Flores who was a super helpful, and communicative during the entire process. My car runs great now, and they even washed it after all was said and done. I’ll definitely be coming back should I need anything else in the future. Tell your friends too. The people are Frank’s are honest, attentive and kind—something I rarely associate from most auto-related transactions.

The service here is great! I’ve been here several times now to get oil changes and other repairs, and every time they always have someone at the front to help and provide quick service. Today I got help from Sam Flores and they were extremely helpful, providing quick service, answering questions and concerns I had, and offering affordable options. I’ve been helped by Sam maybe a couple times and each time they’ve provided great service!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an excellent experience at Frank’s Irvine Subaru, and I want to specifically recognize Rafael Medina, my service advisor. Rafael helped me right away, kept everything clear and professional, and made the entire process smooth from start to finish. What really impressed me was that he took the time to dig into the details and discovered my repair was fully covered under Subaru’s warranty, which saved me a lot of money. On top of that, the team provided me with a loaner car while the repair was being completed, so my day was not disrupted at all. This is exactly how a dealership should operate. Honest, efficient, and customer focused. Rafael’s professionalism and integrity truly stand out, and it reflects very well on Frank’s Irvine Subaru as a whole. I highly recommend their service department and will absolutely be returning in the future.

I've been using Frank's Irvine Subaru for years and I have never had a problem. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Today I went in and Rafael was able to provide excellent service and made sure I was taken care of while my car gets taken care of. I dropped my car off for routine service today and had an absolutely outstanding experience. Thanks to an employee named Sam Flores . From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with genuine warmth, professionalism, and efficiency. Sam took the time to explain everything clearly, made the entire process effortless, and went above and beyond to ensure I felt taken care of. It’s rare these days to find someone who takes such pride in their work and treats customers with this level of respect and kindness. Sam truly made my day. The Subaru dealership is lucky to have someone of this caliber representing them.

My service experience at Frank Subaru of Irvine has been nothing short of phenomenal! The staff at Franks Subaru Irvine are prompt, courteous, and very efficient. Employee professionalism is clearly at the basis of all of the services provided by Frank Subaru of Irvine. The time estimate given for the service maintenance, tuneup and brake work was more than met by Franks outstanding service team. The waiting area experience was also very positive. A nice selection of hot drinks, cold drinks, water and some light refreshments were offered to customers. Also, the bathroom facilities were neat, clean and smelled good. It is clear to me that Franks Subaru Irvine cares about the smallest of customer service details - - - - which speaks volumes!! It is truly refreshing to find a car dealership that cares about it's customers and the quality of the service delivered and pays attention to the details. I would highly recommend Franks Subaru of Irvine to any other Subaru owner in Orange County, and anywhere else in Southern California!!!

I recently had my windshield replaced and camera calibration completed at Franks. Throughout this repair I worked with Sam Flores. I would highly recommend anyone to work with her as she is very knowledgeable, caring, and professional. She maintained communication with me and even when my repair took an unexpected turn she did the best by me. I appreciate her hard work.

Staff was great, in fact we bought two cars from them. But....... Currently having a problem. Had new tires installed and got home washed my car because they seem to scratch it when they do it, so I always say do not wash. Surprise my rim was scratched and BAD. Looks like someone when changing the tire layed the rim, down pretty side on the ground and slid it, scratching it. Brought it in to the shop to show them and say hey, look at the in-take video you have. They took pictures and said the service manager would call. Well, it's been so long (over 2 weeks) that I am going to have to go in and ask again. Now you have to have some history. When I bought the car, new and went to pick it up it was scratched. From bumper to bumper! They said they could get it out, well they did a bit but I should have said no to the car and ordered another one. After this, I started to really look at the car and there was a bump on the edge of a door that chipped the paint. Then a few more marks. Needless to say I worked with them. Remember this is our second new car. My husband drives the first car and had them chage his tires. THEY SCRATCHED HIS CAR AS WELL. He caught it before he left and they had to make repairs. So I could go on but why, if they contact me or reply to my second in-person attempt to resolve this then I will update my post. Cross your fingers for me because I would really like to get this fixed. Otherwise, I will have to find a new Subaru service center. I have been contacted by Frank's Subaru. They offered to find another rim. Two weeks later I was contacted and they did find another rim with damage on it as well. I passed on that rim. I will update, once there is something to report. Nov 25, 2025. Nothing, I have heard nothing about my rim. Wish I could tell you it was resolved and I am happy. Just disappointed.

After having such an awful experience with Subaru Fullerton, it was such a refreshing experience to be taken care of ASAP & efficiently. I love that they go the extra mile: sending a car for you if needed, hand washing after and took care of my car quickly with no apt. Subaru Fullerton gave me such a big hassle and headache about my tire (which I had extra protection on it and everything). So I’m happy that it got taken care of the first time here, very quickly and with great service. I also love that they send a follow up text with the managers phone number attached, so if there were any issues you wouldn’t have the run around to get it fixed. Thanks Tyler! :)

Great experience with service on my 2018 Outback today. My Service Advisor, Sam Flores was exceptionally helpful and kept me informed as my service progressed. Sam helped me get a few things taken care of before they became an issue, which will keep the performance and value of my vehicle strong. I've had the most frustrating and disappointing experience here. I have been a loyal customer at Frank's Irvine Subaru since 2018, and I've even spoken highly of them to friends, who also now go there. After today, you can rest assured I will never come back nor will any of my friends. Laura is great, a lot of people there are great, but there was one particular person who was incredibly unhelpful to me today. And the actual car repairs I've had done here have not fixed one simple issue I've had for the past few years. My low oil icon came up on my dash, and I had just gotten my car serviced last month - this has happened several times now over the course of at least 3 years. Every time I come in, I'm told it's one issue or another, but every time, the issue isn't resolved. I paid over $3000 last year to have this issue supposedly fixed, but according to them, all the repairs were apparently were unrelated to this. The only relevant thing they could see in my car's history was a repair for the oil switch. ...What? So what have I been paying for, if this issue hasn't been addressed this whole time? I was told at the time that those repairs had fixed it. Who knows the total amount I've given them over the years for this problem, and all of it was apparently for nothing. Last time this happened just a couple of months ago, another service rep told me that if the oil light came back on, he had the manager's promise to open the car back up free of charge so they could truly look into what is going on. I also still had an active warranty on the parts from the last major repair. When I mentioned this today, I was told that there wasn't anything he could do. They would have to run diagnostics again, like we've done multiple times before, which has clearly not helped. To top it all off, he told me that there wasn't anyone available to help today, which is fine, but then he said that he couldn't even give me a loaner, and if I needed one, I had to pay $50 per day at least for a rental till Monday, which was the soonest the master technician could help. That's fine, that might truly be the policy, but I've had others help me in a bind other times and was allowed to leave my car and get a loaner free of charge (minus the deposit and gas). To think, I would have to pay more money for a problem that they had supposedly already fixed. I said I really need help because I don't want to drive my car back home with the oil light on and still have to come back. Again, no consideration for me and I was told that there wasn't anything else he could do. After coming back here so many times for the same issue, paying thousands of dollars, and still nothing is resolved, I can't justify coming back anymore and expecting different results.

My daughter was on a mission to find a new car after her old one’s engine gave out—thanks to a worn-out timing belt and a previous owner who wasn’t upfront about it. She was done with older vehicles and wanted something five years or newer. With her budget, we knew it’d take some hunting, but we were up for the challenge! We started with Mazda CX-5s and found a sharp-looking CX-30 up north. So, we made a fun day trip out of it. But, unfortunately, that SUV was a bit too small for her taste. Nice, but not quite right. The dealership didn’t have anything else that matched, so we were a bit disappointed. On the drive home, my daughter was already checking her phone for nearby options. She found a few good ones, from great to solid. We headed south to Frank's Irvine Subaru to check out a CR-V and a RAV4. When we arrived, we accidentally wandered into the body shop parking lot. A kind gentleman pointed us in the right direction, and we found the RAV4, gorgeous, white, full of options, but a touch above our budget. Then Jon, a real friendly guy, came over to help. He showed us the CR-V, which I thought was just okay, but my daughter liked its unique style. I said, “Let’s aim for the stars!” So we took another look at the RAV4, and it just felt perfect for her. The more we looked at it the more we loved it. Jon was fantastic, guiding us through payments, terms, and interest rates with ease. He had to step away, so we worked with Chris from finance, who was equally great. We signed the papers, drove off in that RAV4, but Chris kept at it! By Monday, he’d secured us an even better interest rate. Now that’s service! A big thank-you to Erika, too, for keeping us comfortable while the RAV4 was prepped and for sending us off with a full tank of gas. I’m not usually a fan of dealerships, but Jon, Chris, and Erika were outstanding. If you’re in the market for a new or used car, these guy's are on your side! Highly recommended!

I was able to experience such a professional service to my Outback Premium, 2025 at Frank’s Irvine Subaru. I had a couple of issues including rough idling when the AC was in manual mode, a Bluetooth issue, and some noise inside the panel. Clemente and Edd were amazing from start to finish. They fixed all my problems and even Edd explained the technical part of AC functionality. I was able to check the same vehicle to be sure that little rough idling when AC is in manual mode is normal. Thank you Frank’s Irvine Subaru for your service and for having wonderful people working with you!
