I used to take my car to dealership before because I was stubborn about having the services done. I learned the hard way when I was over paying when getting the same service with them here. I’ve been going to Advance Auto Repair in Lake Forest for about 12 years, and Jesus is truly the best! He’s worked on all of my cars over the years, and I’ve never met a mechanic as honest, friendly, and dependable as him. He always takes the time to explain things clearly, makes room in his schedule when I need help, and genuinely cares about his customers. His prices are always more than fair, he never overcharges and always tells you exactly what needs to be done (and what doesn’t). I recommend him to everyone I know. It’s rare to find someone you can trust completely with your car, but Jesus is that guy!
Jesus is very knowledgeable and honest. He will quote a fair and accurate price of the job to be done before hand. He manages his shop very efficiently and most work gets done quickly, within the specs of the job at hand. I've been a customer for more than 10 years and never have I been dissatisfied with service. Great shop overall.

Jesus and Luis are the best. Don Juan the owner is very nice. I always bring my truck to them. They are affordable and they won't rip you off like other mechanics. This shop is mine and my families only mechanic shop. If something doesn't need to be fix they'll be honest and let you know. They will definitely let you know what needs to be repaired and what doesn't.
These people will fix something, even if there is noting wrong with your car. Take a brand new car here and these people will find something wrong with it, so they could get some money out of you.
Outstanding service. Honest, friendly, sincere, trustworthy, informative, patient, reasonably priced. If you don't need it, they won't try to sell it to you. A breath of fresh air in the industry.
I consider 4 stars very high. 4 because every business can improve. Juan and Jesus are not only good mechanics, they are fair and trustworthy! You just do not find that everywhere. I have moved away from the area and this shop IS one of the things I miss. I have two Volvos, an older S70 and a newer C70 and I trust them with both.
