We had an amazing experience at this Home Depot thanks to Edgar and Fernando. We bought our Christmas tree here earlier that day, but the only stands available were too large. After visiting several other Home Depot locations and finding no stands anywhere, we were almost ready to give up and return the tree.
As a last hope, we came back to this store and noticed a display tree had the exact stand we needed. Edgar immediately stepped in and went above and beyond to help us. With approval from the manager, Fernando, they made it happen. This is our first Christmas in our new home, and after feeling so deflated all day, Edgar and Fernando truly turned everything around for us.

I called Home Depot about installing a new water heater and they gave me the phone number to Fast Water Heater Company and they said it was going to cost me $1,149 just for labor to install stall new water heater. That’s completely highway robbery. And it looks like Home Depot only uses one third part company for water heaters. So it’s a complete monopoly scam to have Home Depot install a water heater for you.
The delivery person did not fulfill their responsibilities and was careless. They installed the refrigerator incorrectly but did not want to fix it. One side of the refrigerator door cannot close properly. Additionally, they did not reattach the cord water . This is truly irresponsible.
The way how cramped this Home Depot's aisles are, especially around the front entrance area is beyond frustrating to navigate through. It doesn't take long for the front area to become cramped by a swarm of customers, regardless if this store becomes busy or not. Customers tend to crowd up the aisles, it takes a single shopping cart being able to block up an entire aisle with no chance to go around the customer that blocks up the aisle with their cart because of how cramped the front area is. It also doesn't help when there are multiple people in a single aisle, especially if there is more than one cart and it becomes clogged up "traffic".
It's ridiculous how difficult it is to get around with everything cluttered, especially in the smaller aisles. The further you go deeper inside of this Home Depot, eventually the aisles become more spread out for some space, but it's mainly the front area that's horrendous as customers are coming in and going out with barely any space to navigate through.
So I put in this order and it tells me to wait in the car. I’ve been waiting in the car for like 30 minutes plus now I go into the store. It tells me it’s gonna be ready 4:30 in the morning. Compared to Lowe’s I got my stuff like within 10 minutes. I still like this store, but it’s sell so much stuff here that lot of time there’s no stock. I don’t know? Do you need more staffing or maybe the system here needs a tuneup.
Tommy was amazing! Even though he was the only cashier working, he stayed so friendly, patient, and upbeat. He made the checkout experience easy and pleasant for everyone in line. It’s always nice to meet someone who truly enjoys helping people, thank you, Tommy, for brightening my day!
Great customer Service at this Home Depot! Greeted with a smile & a hello almost by every employee. But an older man named David went above and beyond! We couldn’t fine the item on the sales floor and he went all the way in the back and made sure I walked out with what I came in for! Thank you Home Depot for training these employees right! And thank you David!!

Christina is very helpful in the Nursey. Tommy provided excellent customer service. They have a great selection of all things that you would look for, and some not, at The Home Depot. Great prices on laundry detergent, flowers, and more!
So this is a review for the plumber section specifically an older lady who is very knowledgeable in the art of plumbing. She helped me out quite a bit with a project I had going on in my house. Although she can be grumpy at time she was extremely knowledgeable and helpful for that I am greatful. This particular home Depot is definitely better than the one in Westminster.
I like to go to this branch because I feel they always have enough items, as well as arrange things neatly for easy searching. The space is large, the air in the house is always airy and clean. I like to walk in their Garden area because they always import many plants and many fruits and trees. The staff here are mostly very enthusiastic, always greeting and ready to help if I have any questions. If I ask someone who does not work in that department, they also proactively find someone in the area to help me. The staff are very friendly and cheerful. The parking lot is also spacious and plentiful, so it is not difficult to find a parking space. In addition, they also create maximum conditions if I buy bulky items, they also have staff to help me put them on the car and can park in front of the entrance for convenient pick-up.
The man who helped me load my freezer, Charlie, was extremely patient and kind, in fact so was everyone who helped us today including those working in the electrical appliances section. Everyone here has 10/10 customer service!

Might as well close the Garden Grove Home Depot down. It's useless. I have been going since Monday for some fence pickets. They had about 20 but all damaged, split, ripped, and chipped. I was told Monday night they were getting more down. Went back Wednesday. Nothing. Went back today (Friday): still same old crap pickets, but spread out to make them look like they have a bunch. Funny thing is the website says they have 355. Went to Westminster and got my pickets. Garden Grove has to be the worse one in Southern California.
Very disappointed. I'm a contractor who visits this location everyday and pro member. I was racially profiled and harassed by and older lady working in plumbing. I was literally buying a water heater which she made sure to escorts while making sarcastic comments. I buy multiple heaters and other parts in store and never have I been so harassed by any of the other workers. Overall disappointed in customer service that was provided.
This location is consistently clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. The garden department stands out—plants there are noticeably healthier and better maintained than at nearby stores, making this a top choice for gardening supplies.
I normally have a good experience here but today I came to pick up a shed and it was my first time so I stood on one side and my boyfriend on the other side. Another customer arrives and cuts my boyfriend. I told Samantha that I was in line first. The customer said "No, you weren't in line." And Samantha said "Yeah, you're in the wrong line." Mind you, I walked right in front of this customer so THEY knew I was there first. Samantha should have confirmed who arrived first. Even if I were in the wrong line, Samantha could have apologized for the misunderstanding and clarified where the line starts. Samantha should have made sure that customer didn't cut anyone else off (my boyfriend). There was no need for Samantha to give me attitude and side w a lying customer. Samantha, do better.
This is a clean well organized store with a very friendly staff. I stopped by to purchase the suitcases advertised online, the staff explained how that was an online promotion only and had no problem helping me purchase them online and shipped them straight to my house.
so on 4/29/25 around 7pm i was at Home Depot in Garden Grove and was looking at some bathroom doors. We were not too sure on the doors but when Dave Miller in hardware came up to us, He asked us what we were working on. We explained our plans for the bathroom and he came up with some great ideas and convinced us to buy not just one door but two. You need more Dave's at Home Depot, It would make Home Depot customers lives much easier. Thank you!
This home depot has the greatest employees. Went in for something and the level of service was excellent. At the self checkout I got to be helped by Adolfo and Jonny. Really great people ! Thank you for going above and beyond and taking care of me even that I was at self check out.
I stopped by The Home Depot to buy just two items. Thankfully, their floor clerks helped me to find what I needed so that I was in and out in even less time than I anticipated. If I ever need to stop by The Home Depot again, I'll be sure to return to this specific location. The store is clean, neat, and well-stocked, and the floor clerks there go the extra mile to ensure that their shoppers have a pleasant and safe buying experience.
I love their garden area. I bought a pot of Mint herbal plant. Plenty of parking. Clean store, but staff are not readily available for some inquiries .
I'm having a room painted and needed to get 2 gallons of primer and 2 gallons of eggshell finish for the walls. I went directly into the store and was greeted by Kevin in the paint department. I told him what I needed and what I was looking for. He listened to what I was looking for and made his recommendations. I went with what he recommended and I'm super happy on how the room looks. Kudos to Kevin. of you need help he is your guy.
GG location is always busy, parking is usually good. Staff are friendly and helpful, was able to get wood cut and keys made in less than an hour on a Monday morning. Often it's a long wait to find someone to cut items. Check out is usually fast also. GG location is better than others.
This review is for the customer service provided by Jordan (or Josh?) who works in the appliance section. We purchased a new washer and he made the process easy and simple. He was professional, respectful, and very patient as well. He hooked us up and was so helpful. Julia also helped me with the application for a Home Depot credit card and she was also great. Overall had an excellent experience!
Had really cheap and beautiful plants! Would definitely come back to buy some more plants here! Update 3/10/24 To my review- I came today to get some things for my house and I asked for help from the staff- not only were they NOT helpful. They were rude. Seemed like a bother to them when I asked a simple questions where things might be located. I will not be coming back to this Home Depot. I asked where the zip ties were and the guy responded right behind you and maybe if you put your glasses on you would see better..
This Home Depo is the same as all the others but it is really hard to find anyone to help you at this Home Depo. Then I went out to the garden section to look for Venus Fly Traps. When I found them right next to the register all of them were dead from not being watered. Every bowl was dead dry and all of the Venus Fly Traps were wilted and dry. I took some bottled water off a near by shelf and watered them the best I could. I tried to tell an employee who was working in the garden area but I don't think he spoke English. It was simply sad.
This Home Depot had everything we needed, unlike the two we visited prior. The guy at the check-out, Andy Ly, was very friendly and had a great attitude! Good job hiring him (and no, we had never met him before).
