Not satisfied with their service after two weeks wasting time
I got an offer from this branch Auto nation and talk to Eddie Spencer to drive there for personal appraisal. Car is under my wife name and she was busy, I asked them after appraisal send a person to sign the document on my wife's job location but Eddie's manager egnor and said we don't do it and bye.
I purchased and sold lots of car in LA and they help us ,because lots of people dose not have enough time on weekdays or weekends to be there by person but dealers sent person to get signatures.
So after one or two week back and forth with them they didn't try to get us services.Feb 08, 2026 -
I had a great experience talking to Isaiah Fraizer. This young man is a great person to talk too! He understood my questions and concerns. We need more people like him to work in car dealerships & or any type of business.

Everyone was so wonderful!! I went in for an oil change/tuneup. They did notice some issues that needed to be repaired. I’ve had my car serviced with them before and they were awesome then to! I am so happy with Auto Nation Honda’s service department! They have my trust. They even washed and vacuumed my car. Happy customer here!

I got amazing service from start to finish at the Costa Mesa location with advisor Delano. I scheduled my appointment online the day before and as soon as I came in I was greeted with great customer service and all my questions were answered. Delano was very communicative and prompt to respond. My car needed multiple repairs and it was still ready the same day I dropped it off. They gave me a great deal and a complimentary wash. I was informed every step of the way. This will be my dealer for all of my Honda service from now on.

Paul the manager is an honest man, it’s super rare that you meet a car sales manager who’s honest to their core. I can’t stress enough how important it is to feel stress free when you’re at a car dealership, & when I come to this dealership I feel so at ease during the whole process. I couldn't be happier with the service. This was my first time at this location, and they went above and beyond. They were able to loan me a car since my repairs were going to take longer than expected. Delano was very professional and extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend this location for service, and I'll be coming back.

I recently acquired an older vehicle that required some maintenance. I brought it to the Service Department at AutoNation Honda in Costa Mesa, where Salvador assisted me. He provided regular updates via text messages. Although I had requested that the car not be washed, when I was unable to collect it upon completion, he kindly arranged for it to be cleaned. Upon my arrival later, I was pleased to find my car looking very tidy. Ultimately, the identified issues were resolved, and the vehicle is now functioning perfectly. I would highly recommend Salvador in the service department.

I initially went to test drive the car. Upon arrival, Xymone was very friendly, well prepared, and patient with me as I went through the process. This was by far the easiest experience I have had buying a car. Omar in finance was also very patient with me and helpful! The whole staff was amazing. I made a great decision joining the Honda team! & I also love my car!!!

Overall experience was great. Tabitha gave amazing customer service and her energy was amazing. I forgot the name of the guy who helped us in the financial department, but he was very helpful and had some funny jokes. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone

I had a great experience with the service department here. Christian Jade was my Service Advisor and he was professional, friendly, and very helpful throughout the entire process. He clearly explained the service, kept me informed, and made everything smooth and stress-free. The service was completed on time and I was very satisfied with the overall experience. Honda AutoNation of Costa Mesa is awesome! Simon and the team helped me get into a new CR V, when I thought all hope was lost on getting a car. They took the time to check all options for the purchase without one feeling like they were breathing down your neck. Shout out to Simon, for a breath of fresh air and not feeling pressured. My recent purchase/lease of a hot red 2026 Honda Civic Sport was one of the most astounding sales experiences I've ever encountered! I am so fed up with grumpy sales people, far too aggresive sales people, sales people with little knowledge of product, that coming to Norm Reeves and meeting Rachel, my sales person, David, the GM, Jake a manager, Eric is finance and all the others and I do mean ALL the others, I was just in the beginning stages of deciding whether or not to get a Toyota, Kia, Hyundai, or Honda. Didn't know anything about the car other than we all know their quality builds, great styling, handling, gas mileage etc. I think they are no.2 if not 1 in sales. But this was all about the people. I met Rachel and was immediately pleased with her attitude, knowledge and enthusiasm for my needs and to meet them. We talked at lenght about the Civic Sport in particular, the Hybrid. Wow! what an amazing car. I am not kidding when I tell you in the first five days, I got 72 miles per gallon using the econ mode and there was plenty of power....plenty of (I was selling my 20019 BMW M4 which had been race tuned and when I put the Hana in Sport mode and pushed it, it didn't feel much different than the M4, thanks to the torque of this sedan, nicely appointed and a blast to drive. So, as Rachel told me more on our test drive, I soaked it all up. But the nice thing was that she was interested in me sincerely so we ended up talking about everything under the sun.She had an easy sale though, I was ready to sign after the drive and talk. And when she showed me the astounding low monthly payments and down payment, that was it! Sign me up. Then I met Jake and David and Eric and just felt so at home, comfortable, no rush, no push, no pressure whatsoever. I felt like I'd met some new friends, people I could trust, and indeed I had. I love my new civic and I'm 78 and enjoy all the modes while driving, if you know what I mean. I continue to get even higher efficiency ratings on gas and I can buy the 87 regular. Amazing since I've always had to run premium. Here in California, I can find it at $4.10 cents a gallon as opposed to the $5.40 I was paying!!!! I also love the fact that the battery self charges everytime I step on the brake, something I do a lot of in this crazy so. cal traffic. I am saving thousands of dollars a year in gas, maintenance, insurance and DMV fees. You cannot find a better group of "genuine" people at Norm Reeves in Costa Mesa, CA, nor can you find a better investment than a Honda Civic Hybrid. Just astounding all the way around.

This is by far the best Honda dealership I’ve dealt with. The prices were the lowest, the customer service was great, the overall experience was pleasant. Our sales associate Fouad got me a great price and worked with me throughout the entire process. I will be coming back for another car in the near future.

I’ve owned a Honda Ridgeline since 2018, so when the time came to buy a new truck I spent a lot of time researching and visiting auto shows. For my needs the Ridgeline is the perfect truck. It’s very comfortable and the bed size works well for me. Plus I can have adults ride in the back seat, which is something that can’t be done in a few of the other mid size trucks. When it was time to buy I reached out to Auto Nation in Costa Mesa. I spoke to Hamed Heidarzadeh and I really liked the offer that we negotiated. He is very friendly and easy to talk to. After that we moved on to speak to Washington Barreiro to sign contracts and sign up for an extended warranty. I’ve purchased many vehicles and this has to be the first time I’ve enjoyed the experience. They were both very professional and an absolute pleasure to work with. I love my new truck and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase from Auto Nation in Costa Mesa.

I recently had an outstanding experience leasing a new Honda Prologue from AutoNation Honda in Costa Mesa, and I want to give credit where it’s due, step by step.
First and foremost, a huge thank you to Jacob, the sales manager who worked tirelessly with me over the course of a week via SMS. Jacob made sure every detail and every number was aligned perfectly with my target requirements before I even set foot in the dealership. His consistency, transparency, and dedication are what ultimately convinced me to come in.
Once I arrived, Simon took over in the showroom and continued that top-tier experience. Simon is young, calm, and incredibly professional. He made the entire process feel easy and pressure-free, answered every question with patience, and handled everything with maturity well beyond his years. He is absolutely someone who deserves recognition from leadership.
Paul, the on-site sales manager, stepped in to refine and finalize the numbers exactly as discussed, with no surprises or last-minute changes. Washington in accounting made the paperwork process smooth and straightforward, and Hamed provided valuable technical support when I needed help beyond the standard sales process.
One important note worth mentioning: I did run into some initial glitches with the HondaLink app, and the OnStar team was unfortunately not able to resolve them right away, and as of the time of this review, the issue still remains unresolved, hoping that someone will resolve it soon. That said, the AutoNation Honda Costa Mesa team stayed engaged, supportive, and helpful throughout, even though this was clearly a manufacturer/system issue outside of their control. Their willingness to assist despite that made a real difference.
Overall, this was a seamless and genuinely positive experience. The team at AutoNation Honda Costa Mesa went above and beyond, and I would confidently recommend them to anyone looking for a dealership that truly puts the customer first. I bought a used Honda Accord from this dealership on 11/28/25. My dad and I test-drove the car I decided to purchase; however, during the test drive, there was a horrible scraping noise. We pulled over to inspect the issue and found that the engine splash shield was not properly affixed to the car and was dragging on the ground. Our sales rep assured us that the issue would be fixed before we purchased the car. We liked the car, so we decided to go ahead with purchasing. We were told that the longest finance term we could get is 60 months; however, we wanted longer to decrease our monthly payments. This statement was proven false when we met with the financing staff, Erick, who told us that we could get a 75-month term. We were told that the issue with the car was repaired and ready to take home. My dad decided to check to see if the splash shield was repaired properly, but it was just taken off completely, which was their solution to "repair" the issue. My dad asked the manager to give us the damaged part, and we would take it to get repaired ourselves, which he did after arguing with us. I now have to get this repaired by a certified mechanic, which is something I should not have to do for a car that I just bought. The car also came with one key, and the manager did not want to assist us with receiving another one. He did not even offer any reparation for the damaged part and lies that we were told. The only reason that my rating is not lower is because our sales rep, Isaiah, was so empathetic with the treatment we experienced and seemed like he really wanted to help us. After being told so many lies, we were planning on going to another dealership, but we liked Isaiah. Overall, I would not purchase another vehicle from this dealership as it seems that they are deceptive and only care about profit rather than their customers.

Nothing but great service at AutoNation Honda Costa Mesa! Xymone, Paul, and Erick helped me through purchasing my car with such ease. All of them were courteous, respectful, and really made it for the customer. I deeply appreciate their assistance and I hope AutoNation knows they are great assets to the team. I highly recommend. Jack Schoubye was an excellent sales rep. He was patient, down to earth, and let me make my own decision without pressure. Washington in finance really helped me get the best deal on the extra warranty so it fit my budget best. Overall, I will back at the end of my lease and grab another vehicle from Jack and AutoNation Honda in Costa Mesa. Great service and they got me a fair and solid deal.

Do NOT buy a car from this Honda dealership!
They sell defective cars. Before the sale, they promise you all kinds of help and support, but once they sell the car, everything changes.
I bought a brand new Honda Civic Hybrid from this dealership. When I drove it out of the lot, it had only 18 miles on it. The next morning, with just 35 miles, multiple warning lights came on.
I immediately took it back to their service department, but now they’re saying it’s not covered under warranty and are trying to charge me $1,731 for repairs.
This is completely unacceptable — selling a brand-new car that breaks down the next day and refusing to take responsibility.

I came in to Honda Costa Mesa for an oil change and had an excellent experience. Isaac greeted me right away and was very friendly and professional. He took the time to explain the service process, answer my questions, and make sure I felt taken care of from the start. Quincy handled the oil change quickly and efficiently, and everything was done perfectly.
Both Isaac and Quincy provided outstanding customer service! They were courteous, attentive, and made the whole visit smooth and easy. AutoNation Honda made purchasing the used car they had on hand very easy, might even call it pleasant. I purchased a no-haggle priced vehicle and was helped by David 1 initially and David 2 took over once I got there, doesn’t matter, everyone who helped me was very professional and up front. Going through finance was a breeze, and being a local credit union member gave me some great discounts on warranty, dent repair and even key replacement, I declined but it’s a great perk when purchasing from a ‘fast track’ dealer and bank arrangement.
Again, car was as stated and shown, purchasing was a breeze and their 80’s mix they had going in the lobby was refreshing change.

Purchased a 2026 Honda Passport from Autonation Honda Costa Mesa on 10/8/25. I had the pleasure of working with Dave Anderson and I have only the nicest things to do say about the experience. He was respectful of my time horizon with the car purchase and more importantly my time constraints with work and more importantly with a newborn at home. He was super understanding helped me test drive the car and provided me with all the options available to me. He stayed late and helped get it to the finish line. Dave made our experience at AutoNation Honda Costa Mesa absolutely exceptional. After some bad experiences at other dealerships, we came in feeling anxious and unsure — but Dave completely changed that. He was kind, patient, and truly went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable every step of the way. He was transparent, never pushy, and treated us with genuine care.
