I had an awesome experience here a couple weeks back on 10/4. Shoutout to Isaac for being a phenomenal service advisor! He was super cordial and knowledgeable every step of the way. It was the gold standard for customer experience in my opinion, nothing but great things to say. I usually leave auto repair places feeling like I got finessed for not knowing any better, but this was definitely not one of those times. Keep up the great work! Thanks again Isaac!

AutoNation Honda made purchasing the used car they had on hand very easy, might even call it pleasant. I purchased a no-haggle priced vehicle and was helped by David 1 initially and David 2 took over once I got there, doesn’t matter, everyone who helped me was very professional and up front. Going through finance was a breeze, and being a local credit union member gave me some great discounts on warranty, dent repair and even key replacement, I declined but it’s a great perk when purchasing from a ‘fast track’ dealer and bank arrangement. Again, car was as stated and shown, purchasing was a breeze and their 80’s mix they had going in the lobby was refreshing change. Easy peezy.

This dealerships service department genuinely put my safety at risk. I also want to preface that I have never written a bad review in my life. I came in for a simple oil change and new battery, and they insisted on rotating my tires. I agreed because I always stay on top of my car’s maintenance. After they finished, they failed to balance the tires and never mentioned it to me. As soon as I drove away, my car felt incredibly unsteady, and it sounded like the tires were about to fly off. It was honestly terrifying. I immediately drove to another dealership in Tustin, where they confirmed that Honda had made a serious mistake by not balancing the tires after rotating them. When I returned to AutoNation the next day, they tried to charge me $82 to fix their mistake. The staff was dismissive and rude, and even admitted that they knew this would happen. As a 20-year-old woman handling this alone, it was clear they were trying to take advantage of me. This was one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had, and it put me in real danger. Please be careful! Don’t go here if you value your safety or your money.

Purchased a 2026 Honda Passport from Autonation Honda Costa Mesa on 10/8/25. I had the pleasure of working with Dave Anderson and I have only the nicest things to do say about the experience. He was respectful of my time horizon with the car purchase and more importantly my time constraints with work and more importantly with a newborn at home. He was super understanding helped me test drive the car and provided me with all the options available to me. He stayed late and helped get it to the finish line. At no point did it feel like he was being pushy or aggressive. Thank you Dave!

If you go, ask for Manuel (Manny). Extremely helpful and will get you an amazing deal. His great service didn’t stop when I purchased the car. He helped me set everything up in the car and checked up on me a few days later to make sure everything was going well with the vehicle. The dealership as a whole was great too. Super responsive to emails and calls, and I didn’t feel pressured to add anything on (or change my mind when I decided I did not want a certain add on). Shop for a car here.

I had a great experience at Autonation Honda in Costa Mesa when I brought in my Honda CR-V for service. Christian was the one who helped me, and he was professional, knowledgeable, and very friendly throughout the whole process. He took the time to explain everything clearly, kept me updated, and made sure I felt comfortable with the service being done. It’s not always easy to find trustworthy and attentive service, but Christian definitely delivered. I had an issue with my air condition system in my car and brought it in to AutoNation Honda. I was helped by Isaac, and let me tell you, he provided the best service I’ve ever had at a dealership. I let him know I was still under Honda Care, and he let me know that the issues with my car would most likely be covered by Honda Care and helped through the warranty process, which was headache free through Isaac. He was very transparent with me, very communicative, and just a pleasant individual to be helped by. If you’re gonna get your car serviced here, Isaac is the go to person here!

Their workers have been driving aggressively in the back parking lot of the dealership, drifting and performing donuts with loud engine noise and tires screeching. I sent an email and videos and heard no response asking why this is done. Not only is this unprofessional and unsafe behavior, it is aggravating to the people who live around the dealership. While the behavior was worse earlier in the summer, it still continues at times.

My dad and I came to this dealer looking at the used lot. The cars seemed pretty hammered. We were looking at this black 2017 Tesla S and the wheels were super dinged up. Usually a sign that someone didn’t drive well. Ended up going up the street to gmc and got one that was super clean.

If you’re considering checking out a Civic Si here — be warned. I called ahead to be proactive and asked if I could come by to see the vehicle. I wasn’t told that test drives weren’t allowed. When I arrived, I was informed that they’d need to run my credit before allowing a test drive. I agreed, assuming this was a normal step since I was a serious buyer. However, after they ran my credit, I was never given the opportunity to drive the car. I didn’t escalate the situation — they kept asking me to “give it five minutes,” and continued bringing out different salespeople. One rep told me the Appearance Protection and Dent Protection packages (totaling $2,000) were non-optional. Later, a sales manager clarified that they could be removed, but also stated that Civic Si models are not eligible for test drives due to limited inventory and a desire to avoid putting miles on them. That should have been communicated before running my credit. I’m an active-duty U.S. Marine and came fully prepared to make a purchase. I was already approved through Navy Federal Credit Union with excellent credit, but did not have the physical letter in hand because the branch had closed by the time I arrived. Having my credit pulled and being denied even a basic test drive felt misleading, disrespectful, and like a complete waste of time. I’ve since taken my business elsewhere. If you’re a serious buyer, I highly recommend asking direct questions early and proceeding with caution when working with this dealership.

Upon our arrival to dealer everyone, including "Managers," just looked at us and didn't even acknowledge that my family and I were there. Lack of customer service and etiquette on their behalf. We saw a young staff member that was coming in from the outside his name is Christopher H. The only staff member that made my family and I feel welcome. He saw that we were looking around in need of assistance and right away greeted us and asked if we needed help. Is sad to say that probably due to our ethnicity, we were ignored . Christopher H. Was the only staff member with superb customer service . We ended up purchasing the vehicle with the help of our sales associate. He worked hard in making the deal go through . If you need assistance and need a new or used car, your go to Person will be Christopher H. He will help you out as much as he can and will make you feel welcome .
