My battery died a few doors down, and the kind people of Firestone walked over with me to jump start my engine so I could then drive it over to get my battery tested and replaced. They saved me hours of waiting for someone else to come give me a jump. I was so grateful for the thoughtfulness and help they provided me!! Highly recommend!!!

I went to this shop back in November to get some work done on my 2018 Audi Q7. The mechanic, Carter, helped me out and told me that I actually needed less work than expected. I appreciated the customer service and transparency.
I am new to America and this was first time I take my car to service here. I was little nervous because I don’t know how things work. Carter at Firestone help me a lot. He was very patient and explain everything slow and clear. He did not rush me and answer all my questions. He make me feel comfortable and welcome. Because of him, the experience was very good for me.
I really appreciate Carter for how he treat me. He was honest, kind, and professional. He tell me what my car need and what it don’t need, no pressure. The service was good and done on time. As someone new here, this mean a lot to me. I will come back again and I recommend Carter to anyone who want good service.

My son took his truck to the Costa Mesa Firestone because the exhaust was hanging down—almost completely broken off. I wasn’t aware of the issue since I live in San Diego and he’s in college in Costa Mesa. Firestone put the truck on a lift, charged $120 for an “inspection,” and quoted us $2,300 to repair the exhaust. We declined and drove one mile to an independent muffler shop, where the repair cost $150. That’s more than 15× the price Firestone wanted to charge—over 1,500% higher—and absolutely ridiculous. Shame on you and your company. As a disabled veteran whose son is attending college, I will never return to Firestone, and I will make sure my family, friends, and the entire military community know exactly how Firestone treats disabled veterans and their families.
Wow! I was in Orange County briefly to pick up a car I purchased for mom. Ran into so many issues with it and finally ready to drive to Sacramento. Then -Flat tire very late Saturday night. Exhausted. First thing Sunday morning, went to Firestone, met Luis and he proceeded to provide excellent and immediate service with a smile. Offered many discounts and options. I was on the road by 10:30am. I'm sticking with this company. They are the real deal! Thanks again Luis and team. You really made my day!
Went in for tires and an inspection, pointed out my rear breaks needed service. The team fixed my van up nicely. Good communication, timely service and, I felt, were honest. Would come back again.
Just wanted to ask what type of water to put into window wiper reservoir and I thought mine was empty. Turns out I was using the wrong switch. Silly me but how often in So Cal do we need wipers. Anyway they were very kind to check the air pressure in my tires which were low. Great service. I’ll be back. Linda
I walk in. 2 folks behind the counter. One is busy. The other guys says. I will be right with you and walks off. 10+ minutes later he is STILL not back, and the other guy looks like he is dealing with a problem that will last all day. What the heck happened to “I’ll be right with you!” Did he go on break?????? Now the phone is ringing. Disaster!

I have brought several of my cars here over the years. The Firestone team has always been great and responsive. I have had them assess problems quickly and not charge for the consultation. They don't oversell. Recently I bought a new set of tires, and for some reason they were not balanced properly, I brought the car back in and they fixed the issue quickly.
I stopped in for a flat tire needing fixed and was so stressed out because I was going to be late for an important meeting but Carter and Dylan were incredibly helpful, efficient and got me taken care of instantly ! I will be back because of their fantastic service !
Carter has the same name as me and was super respectful and very fast. Dylan and Kevin were very nice and listed out all my options, he as well showed me pictures of my tires and filters. Overall great experience
Luis , the service advisor that took care of me. Did an amazing job when I called in for tire replacement asking if I still had warranty on my tires, Luis took his time to look up my vehicle history, even though I did not purchase the tires in his store. Even though Luis was very busy with her epic events weekend he took the time to take care of me, even though I did not have an appointment, Vincent, the technician was very efficient in getting my vehicle done in a timely manner and verified that all my tire pressure Set correctly assuring that I would be safe while traveling. The guys at 475 E. 17th St. in Costa Mesa really Care about taking care of people just wanted to say thank you to Luis and his team for getting me back on the road as quickly as they did.

I visited Firestone tires back in March to get my battery tested. They informed me that the battery was no good and needed to be replaced. They did not have one in stock so they asked me to wait while they located one. After a few hours my car was done and I spent $251.22. Last week when I got back from Cabo the car wouldn't start? I was getting messages to turn power OFF to conserve battery. Then, my GPS went out. All systems were sending notifications. I called FORD and they said it was the battery. They actually informed me that my Explorer Sport would only be sending those messages due to a faulty battery. After several attempts I got the car started and went back to Firestone. They re-tested the battery and said nothing was wrong and most likely it didn't start because I didn't drive it for 5 days? This past week I got stuck 5 times and all systems were going OFF again telling me to turn the power OFF to conserve battery. I called Triple AAA and in fact the battery read "BAD CELL REPLACE" Triple AAA wanted me to go back to Firestone because the battery should be under warranty - I purchased it 5 months ago. He said it was an Auto Zone battery and it probably sat on a shelf for too long. I explained that I already did and they will not acknowledge that they sold me a bad battery? I get OFF from work late and my safety means more to me than the money. I paid for another battery with peace of mind and triple AAA only charged $220. I will NEVER do business with them again! They even tried to get me to buy tires!
The manager Lauren was very knowledgeable and courteous. She found a good option for the tires of my car, in addition, she went out of her way to find a cup and wash it for me to get water from the water machine. Thank you very much!
I had such a great experience at this Firestone. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcomed and taken care of. Specifically some extra helpful staff members, Lauren and Malek. They were friendly, professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly without making me feel rushed or overwhelmed.
The service was quick but thorough, and I really appreciated how honest and transparent they were about my options. It’s rare to find a shop that genuinely puts the customer first, but this place absolutely does.

Wow! Malek (store manager) saved the day for me and my teenage driver! Got a bolt in her tire and Firestone on 17th street stopped everything to help! Very friendly & welcoming….fixed the tire and got us back on the road!!! I also taking my fleet company car here and they always do an OUTSTANDING job!! 100% trust this place! I took my car in for a four-wheel alignment on Saturday, April 5th. After the alignment was done, their staff took my car out for a test drive. When they came back, they turned into the shop and drove my car directly onto the curb, which damaged my tires and wheels. I hope everyone who comes here to repair their car will be careful. It is best not to go here to repair your car. These repairmen are rubbish.
I had just purchased 4 new tires somewhere else so when I had a screw in one I came in to fix the flat. Miguel and Johnny were so kind to my son and I. They addressed the issue quickly and efficiently. I paid exactly what they quoted me and I was in and out in under an hour. While waiting they were extremely delightful and pleasant to my 4 year old son. They made a frustrating situation smooth and easy. I highly recommend them and will be purchasing my future set of tires and bringing my car in for maintenance at this Firestone because of Miguel and Johnny. I don't get the negative reviews, honestly. I spoke with Johnny multiple times, and he was quite friendly and accommodating, sincerely conveying an interest in getting me done as soon as possible so I could get to my next appointment. He also gave me advice on how I could buff out a scratch on my car so it would be less ugly. I suppose it's possible they're slower than competitors? His initial estimate without any rushing was 1-1.5 hours for a tire rotation and an oil change.
One annoying thing? The waiting area tv was kinda irritating, but I solved that problem by turning it off.
