I took my 2021 Toyota 4Runner here for an alignment after lifting the frontend ~1 inch and having two terrible alignments at a tire shop where I got my tires. They validated that my alignment was indeed pretty messed up which I could tell by driving it and also just by looking at the adjustments themselves (alignment cams and tie rod changes made no sense).
They fixed it up perfectly and now it drives better than I even remember! I also looked at the adjustments themselves when I got home and they just made sense. I could tell a tried and true process was followed and the tech took into consideration the symmetry of the whole vehicle and how it would handle. It's one of those bitter sweet moments where you are happy how good it is now but also realize how long you had to go without it lol.
I would highly recommend getting an alignment here and especially if you've modified your suspension. I also have stock tires at the moment, but from my conversations with them if I wanted to put bigger tires they would help me fit them and move them away from places they might rub (such as the body mount) while maintaining good specs.
It's refreshing to find a shop with solid techs that know how to actually use the high tech equipment they have. Just because a shop has the alignment equipment, doesn't mean they know how to actually align a vehicle or how the different specs affect the vehicle handling. The techs at Steed Auto Repair know how to actually align a vehicle and seem to have a good process. I feel like some shops might just fiddle the knobs until things "turn green" and not actually drive the vehicle before or after or think about the symmetry from left to right. As an example, Steed even gave me 0.4 deg of higher caster on the passenger side to account for the road crown. So it tracks straight and handles like butter.
They charge a small premium for vehicles with modified suspension, but if you paid all that money for new shocks and springs or whatever, might as well get it aligned by good techs so it drives as good as its worth.
Shoutout to the people at the front desk also (David and a couple other guys I didn't catch their names), very friendly and nice and could speak to what I was looking for.

Extremely knowledgeable with cars and very affordable prices. It’s very hard to find good mechanic shops like these. My respect to this shop

I had my Smog done at Steed Auto Repair and it was probably the best experience I've ever had. The service is quick and courteous. And, although my car failed the test, John was very patient in explaining what needed to be done. I feel that John could've easily made extra money becasue I asked him to fix the problem; however, he firmly suggested a way for me to fix the problem at no additional cost and it worked. Having said that, I think it's hard to find anyone more honest than John, so Steed will be my place from now on for any car repair issues.
car died and i was lucky to find Steed Auto Repair. came in and they were able to replace my starter motor the same day. honest shop charging a fair price for their labor. from start to finish the explained to me what diagnostic they did, what the problem was, the solution and also future repair recommendations. my only regret is that i don't live closer to Steed. solid shop and i'm definitely keeping their number.
Great guys, I had an issue with my vehicle and had to wait for the part to arrive. I needed a rental since I was out of town. They took me to Enterprise for the car rental and came and picked me up when my vehicle was repaired a few days later.. they worked on my older mustang and repaired it when the Ford dealership would not because of its age. GOOD JOB. I would recommend Steed Auto Repair to all. Honest and Trustworthy should be their slogan.

This is one of the best auto repair shops I've been to. They have a solid team & they're all very professional. I've been coming here for 3 years, and I've found that they are the best mechanics compared to others. They have decades of experience (so they know what they're talking about), their service is all about helping their customers & fixing their cars, and they don't overprice their costs. They're pretty complete when it comes to auto repair.
I recently had to replace all my tires & get a wheel alignment. To be honest, I shopped around to try and find a good deal. I have brought my cars to Steed Auto for over 2 years now and they have done excellent work, it sincerely pains me to write this review for such a great shop.
I brought my car in for an oil change today and for the first time, I dealt with the owner James. He showed me there was an oil leak that needed attention, I was surprised since Steed Auto had just replaced the Head Gasket and Cover on my other car. When James gave me the estimate it was $230 more (for the gasket only) than the recent work the shop performed on my other car. When I questioned the price difference, the owner began to raise his voice and yell and tell me it was the same price. I explained the other service included the gasket cover, and he continued shouting in disagreement. He looked in the system and we saw the price difference. He continued to yell and make up reasons for the difference but it didn't add up. I repeatedly asked him to lower his voice and let him know he needs to stop yelling. I asked him for my car and he said, "good, I would never work on your car again and laughed." He then smiled at the next customer and spent the next 10 minutes kindly speaking to them and joking while I waited for my car.
I am not sure if the owner was having a terrible day or a breakdown, but his hostile behavior should not be directed at customers asking for an explanation of parts and service pricing.

Ken Grody Ford recommended I go there to have an issue with my 1992 e-150 club wagon resolved. Because of its age it does not have a OBD plug to put a code reader into. And I've had an intermittent " check engine" light coming on, for years! My friend owns a Goodyear dealership and has good mechanics, been going there for decades, literally, but his guys couldn't find the fault. It was just so darn intermittent.
But Steed Auto found the problem in a afternoon. Turned out to be a vacuum hose. Not sure how they figured it out but it passed smog with flying colors. And it has over 300,000 miles on it.
And when I went to pick it up they had put a big plastic cover over the cloth seat. Nice touch! My vans old but it's still in nice shape.
And I'm going to follow up with Ken Grody and tell them what a great job you did. Thanks guy's!

I brought my 2018 manual mustang gt to get my clutch serviced, they ended up scratching my leather drivers seat and refused to take accountability for the damage. The scratch was extremely deep and noticeable but they insisted they use seat covers. I noticed the next day and sent pictures.
I really don’t know where all these good reviews are coming from about “honest prices” but that’s not what I got. DO NOT COME HERE. Within 30 minutes of looking at my car they told me my bill would be $1800……. Mentioned how much I paid to multiple other people and everyone told me I got charged an arm and a leg AND my other leg for the services I had done. Way to go overcharging people who don’t know anything about cars… do NOT come here, I guess business must have been bad the day I stepped in so they decided to take advantage.
From the front desk to the mechanics...everyone is Top Notch! I've had over 25 mechanics thru the years and Steed is the absolute best!!! Do not hesitate to give them a try. My cars have finally found a home. I can't say enough about them!

After experiencing mechanical issues with my BMW, I visited a nearby auto shop. However, they lacked the necessary knowledge to fix BMWs. I then contacted another shop who assured me that they could handle the issue. I towed my car to their location for repair. They diagnosed my car and found several malfunctioning cords. They recommended fixing the injector and ignition plugs, which I agreed to. The next day, they called me and said they fixed the issue. However, they found another malfunctioning cord and recommended changing the high-pressure fuel pump at an additional cost of around $800, on top of the $750 they had already charged me. I did not trust their work and decided to take my car home. However, as soon as I arrived, my car exhibited the same issues. I then towed it to another auto shop that my friend recommended. They found the same malfunctioning cords as Steed auto shop and recommended changing the high-pressure fuel pump first, as per the manual. They explained that when the high-pressure fuel pump dies, fuel cannot reach the cylinder, leading to a misfire and malfunctioning cords. Despite Steed auto repair shop changing other parts, the high-pressure fuel pump was the main problem. After changing it at the other auto shop, all error cords disappeared, and my car was back to its normal state.
We've been doing business here for almost 20 years.
The reason is because I trust and believe in many things.
Some people say the price is a bit expensive, but I believe there is a reason for that, so I have been trading for 20 years without complaint.
Of course, if you leave the repairs to the 3 Brothers owners who insist on only genuine products, you will always be comfortable driving.
Do not bring your car here for anything. Years ago my father's nissan sentra wld shut off while stopped at a light. This was the closest place one day when it was shutting off repeatedly we cldnt make it home which was 4blocks away. They agreed to check the issue. The sentra had a full tank of gas. They tried to diagnose but apparently didn't have a multi meter to troubleshoot the electrical issue. I wld call every 2 days and same story we can't find the issue. I finally asked ok what has been done to the car and what type of service is chargeable. I stated I wld have the car towed to another shop after anoyher week and this is when they became very nasty. I went to pick up the car which they had out front. It was less than half a tank of gas, I had spare key so I checked before going inside. They way they spoke to me was incredibly rude almost as if I was creating a problem for them. So entitled they seemed. And finally I receive a quote which was insane. I explain that they never did any of this work on the car because I called every 2 days and they had yet to remove sensors or open anything. And when I asked how is it that the car won't start or stay running but more than half a tank of gas is missing an asian guy attempted to belittle me in front of other upset customers. This place is the absolute worse case of mismanagement and un professionals around. Not to mention they were doing some obviously illegal things. I'm surprised they are still in business to be honest. Surprised their shop didn't burn down due to karma. It's wild how some places get away with anything. So we paid the over $1k for their "services" and towed the car straight to the dealer... problem wasn't fixed or diagnosed at all but we paid. Then called bank and put a stop payment. I hope they didn't receive money I was younger only heard we were putting stop payment. Not sure if my parents held strong and went through all the Hassel. I wld have and wld have sued them for converting our car to their lunch ride as we found countless mcdonalds bags and receipts in there from the entire time they had the vehicle in their possession ahich was 2 day short of 2weeks. These guys are a work of art, a true cancer to the auto industry. They shld be ashamed of themselves but they prob sleep great at night next to their hideous wives or boyfriends. Thank you for the life experience. Now if there's a hint of disrespect my business goes elsewhere thank you
I called to ask about my radiator and they had me bring it in right away. squeezed me in to there busy day and had the car ready the next morning. They have the friendliest workers who care about there customers and giving you great prices. Definitely recommend them!!!!!!!

Only come to Mr. Park, thee Mr. Park, if you want a honest mechanic. Steed wasn't the cheapest after 3 quotes but he was the most honest and most capable to do a rebuild of a RMS and cover plate. After 2 years of self changing oil. Mr. Park was upfront with all charges and work that needed to done. I have trust issues but Mr. Park assured me it won't be a problem. Read the other reviews, they all involve being honest and trustworthy. If you want a HONEST mechanic to keep you informed come to Steed Auto Repair.

No leaking anywhere and truck performance was top notch.
Dad put diesel in his santa fe by mistake. Called Steed and they broke down possible actions and prices. Had AAA drop off the car and we worked out the whole thing over the phone. Instead of changing more components than necessary, had the gas removed and fuel fiter soaked in regular gas. Picked up the car the next day. Highly recommend if you are in the west Fullerton area!

After I wasted the time, money and efforts by the poor skilled techs of 2 major franchised repair shops for a month, Steed cleared all problems within 2 hours. They got the master craftsmanship with high efficient work system like dealers. The best alignment repair shop in OC and LA.

They essentially gave me a quote of 1,900 for valve gasket & power steering repair on a 1993 Van.
I went to my boys in Santa Ana they confirmed to me that this shop doubled almost tripled labor costs.
They claimed a lot of labor but finished within 12 hours so not sure where the labor was for.
I have been coming to Steed for years. I have always appreciated the service and attention that is shown to me and every customer that walks in.
The best part about Steed is not the friendly staff, the professionalism, or the honest evaluation (all they have) but knowing that they will tell me what needs to be done. No upsell or addition of parts that are not necessary.
They will let you know the pros and cons of each repair recommended and what has to be done but will not add $500 of, "It would be nice to do so you dont have to next year", repairs. Though they have been right on when they have recommended preventive maintenance.
That is more valuable then anyone can possibly say.
