Mike and his brother Jacob are the real deal. As a single mom, I need mechanics that I can trust. Took my car in. Told me that my brake pads still had a 4-5 months and didnt need to be changed right now. Told me they are happy to change them if I want or I can save some money and wait. This is honesty! Highly recommended!

A friend of mine recommended this place, he spoke highly about Mike and Jacob, the brothers, he said. I needed a mechanic in whom I could trust. Being a single woman, who was going to go in by myself, with no husband, boyfriend or friend wasn’t sure what kind of unnecessary work was going to be pulled out on me. BUT, I do have to say, the minute a walked in, I met them, spoke to them AND saw how they talk and treat their clients I new I was at the right place and in good hands. I’ve never felt robbed, cheated or lied to. They look out for my best interest. I’ve continued going and now the whole family goes to them. Today I took my daughters car for a check up, she will be driving up north, I wanted to have peace of mind. Jacob was very understanding along with Ernesto the mecánic. They made me feel so embarrassed. They knew how important it is to me to know that my daughter will be safe driving that road.
Mike and the rest of the guys in the shop are the mechanics you always wished you had! I had a fantastic experience getting all my brakes replaced last spring. One of my wheels was noisy afterwards because it hadn't gotten enough lube, so I brought the car back in several months later and they fixed it for free and even drove me around the block to make sure everything else was ok. Super friendly, great conversation, and very knowledgeable! No haggling on prices either, very fair and transparent. And bonus: great gas price too, usually the cheapest in town by at least 10-20 cents!
Mike is not about making money as he is about the customer. Always good about giving me feedback pro bono when I'm in need. These guys look at all your options and admit when it's something out of their area of expertise. Awesome thing is that they do tires, too!
The BEST around. Honest on pricing, and if they don't want to do that job they just tell you upfront. For things like trying to "fix" an air-conditioned. But they will replace it for you! They won't fix blown engine gaskets, but they'll diagnose it and tell you what's needed. And if you get check engine light, they'll tell you what it is in minutes if they have a free man.
Mike the master mechanic is an amazing man. He is honest, funny and super reasonable. His ace mechanics are at the top of their game. He has tons of business which is earned.
I FINALLY found my new Mechanic. This place went WAY ABOVE and beyond for me. My car wouldn't act up for them but they never gave up + for the issue. Finally after a few back and forth phone calls, I was asked to meet with them and take it for a drive to show them. Welp guess what? It Finally acted up for them and he knew right away exactly what the problem was and I had my car back in a few short hours. I thought for sure it would cost me my first born to fix but this is by far the fairest price Mechanic not only that I've ever been to but honestly during all this inflation, the fairest by far. I gotta get the check engine light checked so I'll be back soon. Honestly a great group a gentleman.

They are honest, reliable, swift & have such a long-standing reputation with the community, that it usually booked for the week by Wednesday. Monday mornings are usually the busiest times, so plan ahead or book your preventative maintenance, to ensure your time on the road is smooth! My best friend referred me here, 17 years ago. His Dad trusted this place, way before that! They are all good guys and give you the good, better and best plan of action, for any given vehicle repairs, maintenance and replaced parts.
I have utilized the services at Buena Park service Center off and on with various vehicles, over the past 20 years.
Most recently I went there because the cluster panel on my dashboard was not working and I could not see my odometer readings and other necessary information. In addition, I had started to hear a ticking sound when the car was off and it seemed to be coming from the dashboard area. I would hear the sound even when I hadn’t been using the car for a few days. I figured that they took in was related to the odometer not working.
Mike is the owner of the Buena Park Service Center and I had the good fortune of meeting him in the past and he and his mechanics always came through with his repairing my vehicles’ issues and at very reasonable costs.
In regard to the cluster panel, Mike admitted that this was not one of his specialties but he would call around his contacts at other shops.
Meanwhile, the ticking issue had nothing to do with the cluster panel, and his mechanics diagnosed and fixed a motor in the dashboard area where the vents are. I was very happy with the cost of their work and repairs!
Mike had a friend who recommended a diagnosis for the cluster panel and Mike showed me on YouTube what the problem with the cluster panel might be as well the “fix”. Unfortunately there are different types of “fixes“ for my vehicle’s cluster panel, and the one he had been told about wasn’t the correct one for my vehicle.
So, Mike went the extra mile(s) and tracked down another owner of a shop in Whittier who specializes in the electrical type problems I was having.
Mike did not know this owner but one of his trusted contacts had recommended the guy. Mike called the shop in Whittier and had me speak with the owner there.
I was able to set up an appointment with the shop in Whittier and Mike asked that when the work was completed, that I call him back and let him know how it went, so that he would know if he should refer that place to other customers in the future who had similar issues like mine.
The shop he recommended was also a little place and specializes in the type of work I needed as well as working on classic vehicles.
They were able to fix my problem! And, like Mike at Buena Park Service Center, the owner was honest, knowledgeable, and charged me a very reasonable price.
I definitely would recommend Mike and his shop and mechanics to anyone!
My first experience with him was about 20 years ago and I had been recommended to him by a friend when the Monte Carlo I owned at the time was having issues with the driver’s electric window going up and down. Prior to going to Mike, I had gone across the street to Firestone and they didn’t even look at the car and told me it was going to cost over $200.
After I received the recommendation about Mike, I went over to him and he diagnosed the issue and fixed the problem for well less than $100. It was so many years ago but I believe I paid around 60 bucks.

BP service center is the last of the honest auto mechanics in SoCal. Mike and David are the best. Their two mechanics along with Mike will get your car back on the road quickly and at a price that is usually half of anywhere else. My Hyundai dealer quoted me a price for a repair that Mike did at a third of the cost. You will never pay for something that is not broke as opposed to some shysters out there.

oh my... this place, mike deserve more than 5 star. had this weird noise from my front right break or suspension. did not know what was causing this grilding noise as well as mysterios rattling sound.
got a quote from firestone acoss street and estomate was 490 usd. demanding to replace both front rotor and pad.
did not pay much attention to this small local shop with gas station. Mike is 100% trust worthy guy when it comes to any problem on your vehicle. he even helps customers who was shopping for used car for his son and Mike ran some website, probably kbb or something else. he found out that model has 3 recalls and price was way over than what it values.
I will go back to him for my another vehicle soon.

REAL honest guys; One day my old Honda accord was just stalling after in gears without a reason. I called these guys; he was very helpful to even explain over the phone and asked me some alternatives. After my car somehow started took it to these guys. He checked everything for me. No rip off here; do come here for any service, no overcharge/overselling etc. VERY HARD to find HONEST guys in this world. Good job guys keep it up.
Amazing service, quick, straight to the point, and honest guy. I was helped by the owner David after my charger rt blew its radiator due to the fan blade braking off and stabbing it, my car arrived at the shop 10min before close, diagnosed it quickly, and gave me the pricing right there and then, picked up my car the next morning and I was back on the road. Honest mechanic would DEFINITELY recommend.

The owners are the best. AAA tow truck driver asked me if I got a mechanic and when I said no, we went to this shop and told me that these guys are the best in Buena Park. He wasn't pulling my leg because Mike and his crew went out of their way to fix my car (need a new alternator) in the shortest possible time they can manage. I'm truly satisfied with their service.
