If this is in anyway associated with the Los Angeles location, they made me wait over 2 1/2 hours and then refused to answer the phone when I kept calling them back. 9 PM at night… Left stranded on the side of the road. Avoid them if you have any self-respect or do not wish to support a business that lacks even a shred of professionalism or decency.
What can I say. This man really came through for me. Last night when it was pouring rain I was stuck at the Costco parking lot after they had closed. I managed to get his number from a friend of mine so I gave him a call. He said he would be there as soon as he finished helping someone else and sure enough he was.
He got there quick.
Tried to help me jump start my car just to make sure it wasn’t a tow beforehand.
And then gave me the option of towing it after a few failed attempts. My battery was completely dead.
Got home car an all.

Specialty Towing’s many CA locations (SoCal and the Bay Area) are owned by Abigail Fuentes and Jose Badillo, and this dumpster fire of a towing company isn’t their only scam. Auto Towing, Jose’s Towing, and Specialty Towing and Recovery, are all operated by Abigail and Jose, and the frequent name changes are an attempt to avoid responsibility for defrauding customers. Their trucks vary in color, but are often yellow, white, black, green or blue, with the company name in a contrasting color.
They’ve been banned from towing contracts in the city of San Francisco due to illegal towing practices, and most recently one of their drivers backed into and attempted to tow an OCCUPIED car that was behind them at a stoplight (see pic). To be clear, the car in question was fully owned (not financed) by the owners, they had no outstanding traffic violations, and were simply out running errands. It’s important to state that they were an Asian couple, for reasons mentioned below.
In addition to this week’s stunt, the SF city attorney suspended them from doing business in the city because of their history of illegally towing cars, limiting times that vehicles could be picked up, and pressuring car owners to pay in cash. The victims whose cars were towed were primarily Spanish- and Cantonese-speaking residents, who are especially vulnerable to predatory tows.
Oh, and the owners were also charged with multiple felonies for welfare fraud in October 2023, which authorities claim netted the couple more than $2,000,000. They used the money to purchase a home in Bayview for $1.2million, another home in Excelsior for $815,000, and a 280K Lamborghini.
All of the above is a matter of public record.

Carlos really saved us!!! Our tire got a flat on the 5 and we weren't in a safe spot. Many tow companies were called but the only one that showed up the fastest was Carlos!! Thank you for your speedy and helpful service
THIS WAS THE WORST EXERIENCE EVER!!! My daughter and I requested a tow to a nearby shop and didn't get a response for 3 hours. We requested a flatbed because we didn't want her tires to be on the ground due to mechanical issues. We had to call to get an ETA because it had been so long. After being told the driver was en route, she waited in her car for nearly an hour to then be told that it would be another 30 mins! We wanted to confirm that it would be a flatbed tow as requested on the order so when the driver finally called, she asked him. He then said he would have to call his boss. When he called back, he told us that his boss canceled the order altogether without informing us (the driver was less than 15 mins away at this point). This was extremely inconvenient and frustrating. Not to mention, the owner was very insensitive and rude. He had no compassion considering we had been waiting for nearly 5 hours for a tow and my daughter had to miss work. They were dispatched by USAA so be aware... TERRIBLE COMPANY. After contacting USAA, Oscar Towing Services was dispatched and they arrived within 30 mins. AND we were able to get a flatbed. So if you are ever in need of a tow, go with Oscar :). They were respectful, quick, and professional.
There is footage online illustrating how they attempted to tow a Toyota Prius with occupants IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC. This company has complete and utter disregard for safety and is absolutely criminal.
Such an act is on grounds for attempted kidnapping. This is unacceptable, criminal and this company should be razed to tue ground. Like the employers, the employees share culpability as they lacked the discernment to recognize the criminal nature of their actions. Thus, any individual involved in the chain of command of this company must be sentenced unequivocally.

My car got stuck on the street and Carlos happened to pull up next to me, he asked if I needed a tow and he was really quick to assist me with everything I needed and took me and my car to the dealer.

Driver attempted to tow someone car while they were inside and chased them down for blocks, completely unacceptable and the company can’t come forward and apologize
