This is a very convenient and accommodating location. The supervisor Omar and the attendant (I believe his name was Jessie) was very helpful with a container of sharps I dropped off. They were very professional and friendly.
I like that they are one of the few, if not the only, that open till 4 (or 430, can't recall with precision) on saturdays, most recycling places only open till 12pm or not even open at all on weekends. The crew working there are decently friendly and quite fast. They don't have any shade areas but at least the parking spot is close and has plenty of space. There's is a liquor store and a small Mexican restaurant near.
They give you a ticket after you're done and all you have to do is go to the liquor to exchange it. Over all It's a good spot. Recommended
I don't usually write reviews but this place is the worst, they didn't accept my glass bottles (Sparkling water glass bottle, star bucks bottles etc) but they took a ton of coke bottles from the guy behind me.... I paid CRV on those glass bottle but they don't accept them? I called BS, I gave my bottles to the guy behind me and they accepted it.... rude service, no receipt, and they don't let you review the weight or how the got to the total... Do yourself a favor and go to Ponce recycling in Anaheim. They accept everything, even your pill containers.
Aren’t following lunch schedule because they are so crowded but that’s not the employees’ fault ... Corporate problem !!! Workers hustle and very friendly !!!
3 hours in sunny day, very bad...a lot of people and the service was very slow. They went to lunch..we have to wait until they came back. We suggest one men to stay there and the other one to go to lunch.
I felt like they paid less than what was owed I have been there before and got more for less.I just felt powerless because I had no way to check if it was correct.
Be prepared to wait for a long time to anyone to help or even acknowledge your presence. Unorganized and unprofessional, do not waste your time coming here.
My experience was easy and no problems. Plenty of parking here. One of those small recycle centers, but they pay you on the spot. They use plastic trash bins to put your recycles in and clearly marked 4.3 lbs up to 5.7 lbs. They are fairly small so if you have a lot of recyclables I suggest crushing them. I had 5 large bags of crushed plastics and still needed 7 of their bins.
Went there today and we had a really great experience that we did two rounds of recycling. We usually go to the one in Food 4 Less, but our last experience at that recyling center was pretty bad so we decided to try this one out. The staff here was really helpful and friendly, there was minimal wait time, there were lots of bins to put our bottles in, and they were really fast! Organized and clean! Recommend!
This place was very fast and courteous. They didn't try to pay me less than what was advertised. I got the dollar 65 a pound for my aluminum cans and it came in very handy! They were very nice to me... and I will be back for sure!
I dont wanna select any star for review.it suck!!!! I separated crv & non crv at the different bins but one of guy put all together in one bin then they counted those are non crv so i could get only $8 for today.crv is more expensive then non crv.there is big difference. i couldn’t complain clearly coz I needed to pick my baby up.i just told them there are crv then he counted only 7 bottle and plastic bottle as well...they didnt work hard and didnt see recycle carefully.i never understand them why??? I needed time to collect them and you know?? It’s money!!!!!! Dont waste ur time and ur money...
Overall I think people need to chill out when they come to recycle there things here. It's really not the service people who are working here who make it frustrating. If you are visiting this spot, you really need to take into account that it is not a massive set up, rather a structure similar to that of a shipping container, with one or two workers who are literally harassed and expected to answer the same mind numbing questions that are asked by nearly every person that visits the place DESPITE THE DIRECTIONS POSTED, as well as having to continuously correct and basically police every impatient and impolite person acting as though the rules are just for the other people. They have limited equipment and even with two people working they are short staffed. If you show up ten minutes before their lunch, *which that information is listed with contact number, address and hours of operation* what are you expecting them to do? It takes far longer than ten minutes to collect, inspect, weigh and then total your items if you have anything more than one of their provided bins worth to turn in. Put yourself in their shoes, for as much as people are constantly being anything but polite to them, the conditions they are working in and the fact that it is probably just a minimum wage job, I would be inclined to take a longer break to compensate for the time it takes to close and open that center as well as for the safety of the general public so that I didn't lose it when I clocked back on.
From my experience over the years, these people have been very good to me. You'd be surprised what politeness, patience or at least reasonable expectations, and a smile can do. The attitude and environment improves for everyone involved.
Terrible.... 2 wannabe gangsters guarding the front. Lunch starts at 1:00. I pulled up at 12:50, they looked me over and said: we're going to lunch come back at 2. I said it's not 1 and they repeated themselves. Lunch is posted as over at 1:30. I'll give you 3 guesses if I went back... Absurd.
