Bad place to sale your recycles. Use to go there years ago and it was really quick and easy. They wanted to pay me for my recycles 3 days later. I left and made business somewhere else. People dont waste your time here.

First time here to recycle some metal. I pulled in and stopped at the stop sign there, like it said to. It was busy. I wasn't sure where to go or if I was supposed to sit there until someone approached and helped me. Well, I sat there for a few minutes, and no one approached. So I made a left from the stop sign and found a parking spot that was open. I saw all the other spots had employees helping them, so I waited my turn. Other cars left and new cars arrived and were helped right away. Not me though, I continued to stand there looking like a fool. Five minutes went by, then a few more and no one was helping mee. Cars that arrived after me were helped though already. I saw an employee with a bright yellow vest on and raised my arms, trying to summon the assistance all other before me and after me were getting. He noticed me and turned and walked the other way. I think he did find someone for me, because a few minutes after that, an employee came over to help me finally with a cart and 2 barrels. My items were loaded into the barrels and pushed to the scales. They were weighed and a receipt printed. The employee there said nothing but "ID?" to me. A receipt was printed and handed to me. Not exactly sure where to go, I looked for a cashier and saw the sign in the distance. I walked into there and the cashier was on the phone. She patted the counter, indicating to hand my receipt through. I did. She said there was State Law that I couldn't be paid immediately, I would have to come back in 3 days to be paid. I understood and left the cashier area. I returned to my truck to find someone stacked recycling barrels directly behind it while I was away. No big deal I guess. I made my way out feeling like an outcast and glad I didn't have to visit there a lot. I do have to make another trip to get my money, but that will probably be my last time, even though I am local. Just telling my story, not trying to make trouble. Watch where you step and drive too. There are a lot of remnant pieces of metal on the ground your tires would not appreciate. I picked up a piece, I could hear it as I drove out. I stopped and saw it wasn't deep enough to puncture, just wedged in the treads. Returned 3 days later to get my cash, parking was easier. There was a small line at the cashier. The cashier had me sign, took my photo, my thumbprint and handed me my receipt. I was then instructed to walk over to a modular container with two ATMs in it, scan my receipt and finally, my cash was dispensed. No metal in my tires this time and I got my cash. All done

I can only speak for copper wires but they oay the highest around here. Keep in mind, they hold onto your miney for 3 business days for verification so if you are tight on money and need it ASAP then go elsewhere but I rather rather wait and get the extra 30 cents per pound

My experience at for the second time I was ripped off straight up you'll pull up especially if you're late the little rush you three or four of them and start pulling your medals and put it in their own barrels and it's amazing the chaos that they create at the moment I didn't even get to see half of my material all the scale p it's the second time now that I felt very uncomfortable and lost control of the situation super quick I mean really it's unbelievable how they carry themselves and pack up on you I'm definitely definitely convinced as its crew very dishonest I am very sorry that I even went I advise no one to sell their material to this business I do not lie this is the truth God bless

The workers are really helpful and know their metals. The cashiers are friendly. And their rates are very great

The best prices but if you don't know your metals you might get screwed on the grade. Oldest Cashier is solid but the others seem to hate their job

I had a lot of scrap metal laying out in the yard. I needed to clean it up but there was too much for the garbage can. Since I live close to this place, I loaded up my car and was pleasantly surprised at the amount of cash I got back. Worth the time and effort.

Not busy at all. Great service and very assuring. Explained what I needed step by step with an already approved CAP to retire my car

The street this recycling center is located on can be described as seedy at best, lots of non-operational cars on the street, and lots of odd looking folks. I recommend coming here with another person unless you know what you're doing. There are multiple clearly marked entrances. Most people should be using Gate A. Just pull into a spot and grab a bin/dolly and begin unloading your materials. Typically an attendant will stop by to help you sort so that it can go on the scale. The stuff gets weighed and then they give you a receipt to go to the office and redeem. Due to labor shortages, they are no longer taking CRV items like aluminum cans/glass bottles. Only large pieces of scrap metal; like sink faucets, wire, metal pipes,or automotive brake disks. Each type of material has an exchange rate that fluctuates with market value.

I used to love coming to this location for my recycling, but as of 4/29/22; they appear to no longer accept any aluminum can recycling. I found out after I recommended someone to this location (I moved, and I have yet to honest a recycler that doesn't dock half the weight because they find a little condensation). Most other places in the area were not honest. And many should probably be turned in to the department of weights and measures. So it is sad to see an honest recycler no longer accepting crv recycling. I am sure they are still great with all their other services.

Definitely my go-to spot for recycling. All of the employees are friendly and helpful and they have fair prices compared to most scrap yards in orange county.

I have been coming to this location for a few months now and they're by far some of the most helpful employees I've ever met. The men on the floor will help you separate your recyclables if you're unsure of what's what. They also have some of the best prices around town.

I have been coming here for years to recycle cans and bottles. As of 6/21/2021 they are no longer accepting CRV due to labor shortages. The lady at the window said to try at the end of September. I called another SA Recycling location and they said they no longer accept CRV either. I guess I will have to find another recycling location. Dropped my long-time 5-star rating to 3 because of this change.

Usually have fair prices for recycling cans and bottles. I've been to other places that are a little dirtier but pay a little more. DBW is quick and clean. Just stopped by today 6/26/21 and apparently they are no longer doing crv recycling due to labor shortages. Huge bummer.

Smooth operation, but I wish they'd make sure there weren't bolts and nails all over the ground. Once I get home, I'll be checking my tires for holes.

The workers here are very friendly. At times when I can't make it, and my older mother goes instead they help unload the glass bottles, and cans.

Easy in, easy out. I roll up there and the guys that work there already start rolling out bins to help unload. Way easier of a process to recycle cans / bottles / plastic than waiting in line forever at other recycling centers.

When you enter there's always 1 guy traffic control, then you go to the cashier to get paid, usually 2 ladies are there. Get in and get out pretty fast.

This place is the #1 place to go in the oc to take any kind of metal. They are one of the he biggest places and every single person there working do there best. I have been going here for years and contractor price has been doing great for me. I'm a plumber so I have brought so many things here. So if u got scrap copper, or any other metals, don't take it anywhere else. They pay the best price for what u got. The more the better, and as long as u are current with recycling they pay u rite there after they weigh. Cash in your hand when u leave. Thanks DBW

Fair price I been to others (recycle centers) too shady for me get there early can get busy but they can handle the rush. Best part is a large tv screen displays the value of the metal worth from brass to Cooper.

The prices seem fair here. The coupon is always good. On the can side the guys are helpful and quick. I drive in with a pick-up full of cans and with the guys' help I'm out of there in minutes. I especially like the metal side, though. The guys over there work quickly and I never have to wait long. They help me divide my metals so I can be paid fairly. I know now to make sure my clean copper is really clean and to pull brass fittings off of the copper pipes.

Ernesto was extremely rude and lazy. He even seemed to be annoyed as I arrived. I did not feel welcome nor was I welcomed. They found one can that didn't have CA CRV on it so they wouldn't accept any of my cans. When I told him the manager allowed me to drop them off at a reduced rate on my last visit, he just blew me off. He proceeded to talk to Hugo in Spanish assuming that I knew none. That is also very disrespectful. I will never use this establishment again. As I was leaving there seemed to be many other guys working very hard. I'm sure at least one of them would do a better job than Ernesto with customer service

I love going to this place, drive through service and outside service as well as the office service has always been very nice! They are always so helpful, I always get help from Everardo, he's the best, and his boss too, very pleasant people to talk too. Will definitely be going back often. Thank you!

Very nice and helpful employees. I never felt treated different like at other recycling places and they are always the best prices around. Two thumbs up

I've been here twice over the past 2 years, and I LOVE IT! I collect my aluminum cans to the point that it over fills the back of my F150. ***I drive up and they unload me :) It's FAN-TAS-TIK!*** Funny... I take my wife and kid with me, and my wife is quite good looking. Well, the guys walk by and stare at her as they walk by. They stop and talk to her. My wife is not the uptight kind and likes the attention instead of getting pissey about it (she's a good girl). I left with $140 +/- for a truck load of un-crushed cans and my wife left with a smile from all the attention. Overall, I love this place. I recommend it to anyone / everyone :)
