Ever since the trash company switch, it’s been nothing but problems. We’ve been marked down several times now as “trash not out” even though I have video showing the truck driving right by. Same thing happened when we needed a broken bear can swapped out – they claimed they did it, but they drove right past us.
Every time this happens, they act like we’re lying. I get up at 4 a.m. My daughter takes the garbage out at 5:30 a.m. on pickup days because of bears, and I check myself at 6:15 to make sure it’s out. That’s our routine.
Now this week they didn’t dump our can because the bear lid wasn’t latched. We were out of town Friday night, and bears got into the trash again and scattered it around the neighborhood. Instead of just sending someone back out, they questioned me and said they needed to “investigate” because their records showed the trash wasn’t out – which is completely untrue again.
The customer service rep isn’t even local and it takes days to hear back. Then they tell us we have to bring the can in ourselves to dump it for free. Some service that is. They always say they appreciate the opportunity to serve us, but it feels like they expect us to appreciate them instead. Service should be mutual – I pay them to do a job, and I can’t stand being lied to.
4 months ago I had given this establishment 5 stars, and I'm wanting to give it 3 stars, but to be reasonable, I chose 4 stars. The recycling center has changed locations, and that isn't a problem. The attitude of the workers has declined dramatically and although I try my best to bring everything sorted they've taken it upon themselves to Verge on the side of rude with me. It's a shame. Hope they can restore their happy smiles and good vibes.
One star is being generous...They don't provide service as contracted, and won't even offer a refund for charges (even without providing the servoce) unless you notify them within 5 days.Customer service doesent provide any, and they simply dump you into voicemail boxes of peope not there. FRAUD
this company has a monopoly on residental garbage pick up in gualala. they provide NO customer service because they do not have to!!! if you have a problem with their service, call for help, they just hang up on you!!! THEY ARE A DISGRACE.
My daughter has interest in garbage trucks. We visited here last month. A nice worker let her take pictures! Steve i think was his name. He said he also had interest, I love how nice the employees are, i wish i was serviced by them.
I'm having a problem with the 100 pounds of cans and plastics that they allow in one load per day . I live in fort Bragg and am trying to bring in not just my recycling but also the recycling of a few of the elderly people I work for . Since we don't have a buy back program in fort Bragg no more it's difficult to imagine traveling over the hill every day just to bring in recycling is there any Easyer way
The dump and people that work at the physical location are great, most of the people in the office are nice as well, but theres always the one in there that will tell you they are right and you dont mater because they are the only game in town. So if you get garbage service to a residence dont expect much. The service is often late or comes the next day for what they missed. The times are never consistent so somtimes the garbage is picked up around 430-630 am and somtimes during thre day. We live in a community with bears, ravens and a number of other things that love to riffle thru the trash when left at the street. Ive lived hear for 5 years and have had a few rate increases, I cant understand how those are justified other than they have a monopoly and monopolies like making money. Its unfortunate how they pin customers in brooktrails that unable to take there trash to the dump because of the vehicle they drive. There should be some acountablitly. Especially in a time of covid when many of the people they service are struggling financially. I feel totaly taken advantage of as a customer.
We pay good money for this service. This week they did not pick our trash or recycling. They only pick up recycling every TWO WEEKS. I called them and they claimed our trash and recycling cans were too close together. They said they took a photo. So they have time to take a photo but they can’t scoot the can over a tiny bit? Ridiculous. Some of the other neighbor’s cans were very close together but they took theirs. So now we have to go in and drop it off on Saturday or have bags of recycling sitting around for two weeks. Thanks for nothing. Also they said my name was not on the account, just my husband’s name, but he said he knows for a fact that he put my name on it. I heard him on the phone with them adding my name, so I know he did! Frustrating dealing with this service.
Great place to turn in your nonpayables, your payables (aluminum cans and plastic recyclables) and also take your trash if you live out the city limits
Great service and always polite and Professional. The people that assisted me were Randy, Rondy and Maria. All with a great sense of humor, polite and professional
In all honesty what bothers me most is the fact that they have extremely noisy truck's and their trucks shake my entire room so I get woken up way too early like seriously school starts around 8:00 am why do they need to get the trash at 5 am when most people are still asleep and not around 6 am. It's getting rather annoying being woken up so rudely
I was in the hospital and pay my bill when i got home ....mind you im a on diability and had some one cut the all the weeds that were around my home and was charged 42.06 for yard waste ? So now they came by pick up my recyling because they can make money off of it ...This feel like its personal this is how they treated older people with disablitiies ? so upset ...I repotring you to americans with dis, and calling everyone i cvan including a lawyer and cancaling the check i will see you all in court you men are curel you all have no heart why did you take all of the recyling ??? $$$ theses people can get away with anything they are the
only garbage co. I was in icu and couldnt pay my bill late so they dont pick my garbage up then why the extra charge for yard waste no one eles gets charged you people are going to see what happens when you take advantage of a person with disabilties and dont worry i wont be alive much longer going to cansel my check ill see you in court Oh and i couldnt submit thjis unless i gave them 1 star you dont deserve Im calling and abulance so upset cant spell cant breath
This is where you are supposed to take your trash to. Separate your recycling saves a ton of money. Mattresses are free ! Don't illegally dump your stuff in the creeks
