The employees here don't seem to be very knowledgeable about the parts they are selling, more than half the time, I have to take the parts back and have then give me the right one, because I didn't give him the wrong one. Make sure to have them double. Check the part before you leave.In other words, you're going to be making multiple trips, trying to get the right part right
My truck battery kept dying for no apparent reason and the gentleman in the store (Mike, Dusty, Rusty) tested it and found that I not only had a good battery but I also had a working alternator. We narrowed it down to the battery cable. Wonderful, gentlemen and very helpful, I would've been lost.
My car suddenly had a low engine oil light while driving to Yosemite. Shawn checked my oil levels and filled it up for me. Thank you Shawn for helping us! I really appreciate it.
Had my check engine light come on in the mountains and stopped by here to get the code pulled. The guy was super helpful and explained what the code meant and even printed it out on a sheet of paper for me
Great service! I have a rare tire and they helped me to order our snowchain in advance. However the weather was really good and we did not use our snowchain. They gave us a full refund for unused snowchain.
For a small town-ish, they do alot of business, and they , most all the staff, are very knowledgeable and helpful. Josh is AMAZING, he should be Manager!!! He is extremely Helpful, helped me when I needed a new battery. I am disabled, but didn't tell him, just asked for help from him, he troubleshoot my problem, used their tools, removed my battery terminals, cleaned them, reinstalled them, showed me the defaults, recommended replacement and did it for me. James also should be recognized for his superior customer relations, helpfulness and knowledge.

Rob and Sky were the best, I had a broken master cilinder in my 70s chevy and not only they found the part but they stayed in the shop half an hour past the closing time for me to find the piece that the computer system didn't found, when they could have just told me to come back the day after. Amazing customer service by Josh. Was able to be of such help. Unlike most places, he was very professional and saved me a ton of money by helping me screw off a bit that was rusted on to my hitching ball. Overall, the staff is always reasonable and kind.
Tire chain broke during the recent storm. We went into the store and they were sold completely out. That could have been it, but the amazing gentleman helping us went the extra mile-realizing we were stranded because there was chain control all around us. He called some people in CHP dispatch to ask about road conditions and gave us leads on viable routes and timing for the routes. He also advised when it wouldn't be safe to travel. Thanks to him we were able to time our departure before more ice came and without any working chains and get home safely. When we talked with CHP directly they wouldn't even help guide us and tell us road conditions, but this guy went out of the way to call their dispatch.
Need head lights and the cashier women where awesome I wish I knew the name of the lady that helped me because she rocks. I hate to say it but I'm not good at working on my lexus. She not only showed me what lights I needed for my car she also came outside and changed them for me because it was getting dark and I wouldn't have known what to do till I looked it up. I think her name is Amy. Thank you so much for going above and beyond.
Great place, really friendly staff ready to help. I have an 95 Bronco with 269k original miles, I'm the original owner and the engine and trans have never been out, in fact they've never needed repairs. It's a testament to Ford's great design and proper maintenance, it may be the best vehicle I've ever owned. A couple days ago I visited the Mariposa store and just out of curiosity asked if they could order a belt tensioner assembly for the Bronco and to my surprise the salesperson said absolutely, but if you want one we have it in stock. WOW! Who woulda thunk it, a 25 year old kinda rare vehicle and they had the part in stock? And on top of that she asked if I would like to have her install the new wiper blades, of course I said yes. So here's my point, if you're thinking about which auto store to go to don't even worry about the others, just go to O'Reilly's, you won't be disappointed!

I had a great experience with this store although they didn’t have the part that I needed. There were two gentlemen who tried to help me with an incorrect bulb that I purchased and realized that my car used a different bulb in the headlights. They were good enough to give me options and directions that late in the day although they had directions not to help customers with their part-replacement due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Went in there today and needed a wire for a system which is hooked in the battery the guy named sky was not helpful at all they have good products but man they need customer service very dissapointed.
They don't have the patience to connect their diagnostic tool to check a battery for free cause he says he can't get it on the terminal well you're supposed to be trained and obviously you don't know what your doing big waste of time to drive here when the town of Mariposa is spread out I recommend Oakhurst O'Reilly if you need to get parts for your vehicle it is better managed and they are way more knowledgeable than mariposa
Everyone at Mariposa O"Reilly's Auto parts store are so good to me. They are fast and most importantly they know their job!! Never have I been told they don't know about this or that ... All of them know alot about everything a person might or should need for their Auto needs. Thank you guy's for all your help and support.

Yes I'll recommend this business to others for many, many reasons and I'll feel right knowing that they will also enjoy the same trouble free and friendly service that I always have.
Not the cheapest place, but the cheapest place is a minimum 1 1/2 - 2 hours away round trip. The employees are phenomenal with the customer service though, which you won’t find on amazon.
In Mariposa helping some friends during one of the worst storms last week. Lost a 25 amp fuse for my front wheel drive. Sent someone to purchase the 25 amp fuse, a woman.
1. Placed a 15 amp fuse in a ziploc bag for physical size reference. Bag was labelled: Need (2) 25 amp fuses in bold black marker
2. Associate Sky M. Sold sold her 2 delayed time 15 amp fuses...out of 25 amp fuses?
3. My wife and I drove out of Mariposa last Monday not knowing if we would make it out...they live 16 miles off highway 49, on 812--all on dirt/muddy roads.
4. It was absolutely wrong for Associate Sky M. to sell fuses that were the wrong amperage. Female associates in the Oakdale O'Reilly's would never sell an alternate fuse size--they would simply state "we do not have 25 amp fuses, try Oakdale Auto Parts, or Autozone.
5. In this case, my wife and I literally could have been in deep trouble in 2 wheel drive.
6. Please let Sky M. know that in in this case it was critical that a 25 amp fuse be installed--no substitutions...send patrons elsewhere, and not just "make a sale"
We went to this store to diagnose our vehicle engine that was overheating that interrupted our trip. Their service and friends were beyond their duty. They let us to stay in their lunch room till tow truck gets to us and they also provided water for us. I really appreciate their service especially in that hot weather. Thank you.
Got very little help or time all attention given to men. Sold me the more expensive larger size power steering fluid when there was an smaller one. Won't go back.
Well, first they told us there was no such thing as 5/20 weight oil. They don't carry it. o.0
Then, last week, they sold my MIL the wrong oil filter because the clerk didn't check what year her truck is, then the mistake wasn't discovered until the oil change was in process, so vehicle had to be put back together with the new oil and old filter- then they refused to replace the oil wasted because of their mistake. (2 quarts of oil). You don't cheat senior citizens in your community. Drive to Oakhurst for your vehicle needs. This store has bad customer service and a lack of knowledge in their staff. It made me give them a star to post.
I like dealing with the local people behind the counter. They are very professional, conversational and I am always impressed with the technical knowledge they provide me with. All my questions are answered correctly on the spot. They don't have to go look things up to answer my questions. Long story short, everytime I go there it is an enjoyable experience, they might not always have the part in stock but it can usually be picked up later that day and I have yet to get a wrong part from them which says a lot. A great place to go to buy car parts.
