A and K not only came out and diagnosed our car’s issue at 8pm on a Sunday, but took the time to search through active warranties on our car to make sure we got the best deal. We’ve never been treated this well by any mechanic (VW ended up fixing the issue for free because of A and K’s help and advice), and are admittedly sad they can become our go to mechanic back in NJ! Thank you!!!
Amazing experience with Aaron. Our car broke down just outside of Yosemite and he came, basically in the middle of the night, and diagnosed the problem. Rather than just fix the issue and charge us, he found that it would be covered by our extended warranty and gave us all the documentation we'd need to get our repair for free. Amazing guy, amazing service.
I was stuck just outside Yosemite and A and K auto, Aaron, came out much sooner than expected and did a wonderful job, I highly recommend Aaron if you need help in the area.
Very friendly and accomodating staff, battery died out in the middle of yosemite valley and they made the trip to change it out for a new one. Price was also very fair for the distance and work they put into it.
I even have reason to suspect that the owner is in fraud, we had about the next morning at 9 am to see our car, time to contact him, after half an hour to message to adjust to the afternoon, we call many times during the specific time, he lost again, until 2 PM, tell us that he just place signal is bad, but 15 minutes will arrive, at the same time sent to check the electronic bills. To wait for his help, we have been waiting for a long time, finally after 30min still contact him, we can't imagine if always waiting for him will pay much sunk cost, very not recommended, hope the future friends, in superior ite need to repair car problems, don't have any expectations to him, because we real experience can show, he will let you down!
Our rental RV had camping battery issues while we stayed in the Yosemite Valley. We called Yosemite A and K Auto. He directly organized the right battery, figured out where the camping battery is located and changed it in the middle of the night to help us. He also privided some water while we waited. Perfect and fast service, he saved our vacation. Totally recommend. Thanks a lot!!
Aaron was incredible! If you’re having any car issues in Yosemite Aaron is the guy to call. Aaron and I discussed the issues with my car and he made sure to pick up parts for me before coming out to fix the car. He also provided an estimate before I agreed to the deposit. He came out to where I was and fixed my brakes and rotors in a couple hours. I would one hundred percent call Aaron again.
Cell service is spotty around here and not hearing from Aaron made me a bit nervous, but he was true to his word and made sure to come fix my car.
Was on my way to work with my fiance in the car when suddenly my car ran out of gas and this hero came out of nowhere asked us if we needed some help and he literally drove to the gas station and came back with some gas so i could be on my way. Thank you soo much for the help.. True legend right there.
We broke down in Yosemite. Emergency situation. He said he be able to help us 100%. We waited all day. He never showed up or never received a call back. Would never use or suggest this location ever.
Aaron was INSTRUMENTAL in helping us while on vacation here in Yosemite. He saved us time and money and got us up and running in no time at all! We definitely recommend his services!
Not sure when the previous review was posted but this place is vacant. Better bring your own tools. No auto repair shop at this location.
Did not call. Building was closed no one around, looks empty. Usually mobile mechanics even have a base. Why rent a building and keep it empty? Maybe that isn’t the true location?

Towed us when we couldn’t get ahold of anyone else and fixed our vehicle within 24 hours so we could easily resume our trip.
The best auto person you can call when you run into auto issues near groove land. He is also best person I’ve met in California during our trip. Aaron went above and beyond on what he could help us with our very unfortunate auto issue. He towed us to our destination and provided assistance all along the way. Thanks for making our journey so memorable despite how painful the other stuff have been.
Me and my partner were on a road trip and started having issues with our truck on our way to Yosemite on a Sunday. A&K was easy to get ahold of, (when cell service was available) and ready to get the work done. Even in a remote area on a weekend Aaron was able to get the parts we needed to get us out of there quickly. He was upfront about prices, honest, and thorough when it came to what needed to be fixed. It’s really hard to find a mechanic like that these days and since we were driving from cali to nh, it was best case scenario for us. Any other shop we would’ve been stuck for days, but we were able to stay on track with our schedule and back on the road. Prices are unmatched, we actually threw in an extra $100 because we thought he deserved more and we haven’t had any issues with the truck since visiting A&K. Definitely would recommend if you’re in the Yosemite area.
