Do not go to Swickard Honda TO if you want to have your Honda repaired with anything more than regular service. They are not able to diagnose and fix our problem with the check emission problem message after paying for diganostic and 3 different visits and after the 4th visit they found it was due to possibly bad fuel injectors but the extended warranty expired even though the problem was brought in before the warranty expired. Offerred to repair with $300 deductible so apprently the diagnostic fee did not apply to the repair. Service person said this was the district managers decision but was not given a name. So district manager is Kirk D. gave the final decision but general manager Paul L. and service director Javier G. could not do the right thing since it was their dealership that failed to diagnose and fix the problem while it was under warranty. Will probably have it fixed with outside auto service and bring them to small claims court. See you in court Swikard Honda TO, Kirk D., Paul L, and Javier, G.

Ruben was the car salesman that helped me. Really great guy and was very straight forward and Honda helpful. Ruben is a man who likes to help their customers drive off in a car they will love and will make sure you are heard and is appreciated by the Honda family. Swickard earned a new customer for their maintenance and extra services this day. Great place and very cool people.

We went to this dealership expecting transparent pricing, but that’s not what we got. The car we were interested in had a sticker price of $8,777, yet when the financing paperwork was shown, the total jumped to almost $13,000 because of “optional” add-ons that were actually required in the deal. When we questioned this, the finance representative, Arian, was dismissive and said, “It’s already done, so you have to pay.” He also claimed that “all dealerships in Thousand Oaks do it the same way.” His attitude was rude and unprofessional — definitely not what you’d expect from a business that wants to earn or retain customers, especially one representing Helpful Honda. Very disappointing. Instead of recommending Honda of Thousand Oaks, we’ll be warning friends and family to stay away. When we asked why we weren’t told the real price of the car, we were told the full price (including add-ons) was listed online or on the vehicle — but when we checked, there was no pricing information online and nothing posted on the car itself. We even went back to double-check after leaving. Later, we noticed the online price had dropped to $8,490, with no mention of any additional add-ons. Dealerships are legally required to display transparent and accurate pricing, and this experience felt deceptive and unethical. We strongly recommend reviewing every line item carefully and getting everything in writing before doing business here. Be careful!

Ruben Rodriguez was a pleasure to work with. I was helping an elderly friend buy a car, he spent all the necessary time and made this a pleasurable purchase. The dealership did an excellent job negotiating and financing the final purchase. I would definitely buy another vehicle from this dealership.

Took my Honda in for its maintenance, and Greg was very friendly and helpful with facilitating the service. The dealer had a comfortable waiting area with snacks/coffee/water available for clients opting to wait. Other staffs were courteous as they pass by and always checking to see if you needed anything.

I had the absolute best experience I have ever had at a service department thanks to my advisor Jason and service manager Melvin. They were extremely helpful and professional. I was really stressed out about an ongoing issue with my car and they completely relieved that stress and took care of me. Even the general manager of the dealership Paul got involved and was so kind and helpful. If you’re like me and have a Civic with the AC issues, ask for Melvin and Jason as your advisor, they will help you every step of the way.

I was looking at the CRV hybrid but I was unsure it was what I wanted. Omar was friendly, informative and flexible. He took the time to take me to the back lot where I found the new Trailsport. I test drove it and really liked it. The next day I called Omar to look at other CRVs. He took me to another lot to look at other options. In the end I leased the 2026 Trailsport. While I was deciding on the car I never felt pressured at all to buy the car. Omar was honest about benefits of leasing vs. purchasing the car. I would highly recommend seeing Omar if you are looking for a new Honda!

Omar is the BEST!!!! His customer service care is above and beyond than any other I’ve ever experienced at a dealership. I’m a Honda girl and was previously doing business at another Honda dealership- came to TO because it’s bigger and wanted to see if there’d be any difference- and sure enough there was!! Omar got me the best deal, super kind from the get go, personable and eager to help. I took my Pilot to Swickard for the oil change and tire rotation just before the July 4th weekend. They accommodated my appointment request and completed the service within an hour. I also reported an issue with vehicle not starting ant times and they performed a complimentary battery test. Its a regular maintenance but overall I’m happy that I got vehicle back for our long weekend trip.

Was greeted promptly and shown waiting area, with a run down of the waiting room amenities. I do have to point out the kid's playroom can use a bit of remodeling due to the writing on the glass window, made it look pretty clashy, and damaged ceiling tiles need to be replaced to give you a better sense of proud ownership.... A small investment goes a long way if you care. Quick friendly service was appreciated.

I sincerely appreciated the whole process from start to finish. I especially appreciated how Andrew dropped off the car but wasn't in a rush to take off- instead he took time to explain how the vehicle works and how to properly get started. I never felt rushed or was a burden to the staff for asking all the "dumb" questions. I love my new car and the excellent customer service I received from the start. Update: although I appreciated the service initially....upon recieivng the vehicle and encountering some issues with the vehicle I was quickly redirected to other local dealers and was told there wasn't much they can do. The process left me feeling high and dry.

We are really happy with the service I received at Swickard Honda of Thousand Oaks. I had a mechanical issue with my car. From the moment we got to our appointment Jason Dixhorn Senior service Advisor helped us. He answered all our questions and was patient with us. I’ve been a loyal Honda customer for the past 9 years, but my recent experience at the dealership has completely changed my view of the brand. I extended my lease to give myself time to shop around, and during that time, I was contacted by Joseph and his manager at the dealership. They encouraged me to come in during Easter weekend, promising a “special deal” that turned out to be nothing special at all. They assured me the lease extension wouldn’t be an issue and that they would cover the cost. When I went ahead with the purchase of my new car, Joseph specifically asked if I had made an extension payment, to which I said yes — just a week prior. He reassured me that Honda “is good with this” and that I would be refunded within a few days. I followed up via text and was told the refund might take up to 30 days. A month passed, and I still saw nothing. When I reached out again, the story suddenly changed: I was told they had “paid off” the rest of my lease extension and therefore owed me nothing. In the end, I paid for both cars in the same month — the previous car that I only had for a week, and the new lease. Had they been transparent, I would have simply waited until the month was over to avoid overlapping payments. But they were clearly more focused on closing a sale than being honest or considerate of a long-time customer. When I confronted Joseph about the misinformation and false promises, I received no apology — in fact, no response at all. This was a clear case of a salesperson prioritizing commission over integrity. After nearly a decade with Honda, I’m incredibly disappointed to say this will be my last time buying from them.

Just bought a 2025 Honda Civic Sport Touring Hybrid Hatchback from Swickard Honda of Thousand Oaks this past Sunday and couldn’t be happier! Valeria was amazing—she went above and beyond to get us the best deal after we shopped around at other places. She honestly is the reason they got our business! The car is packed with features and drives great and gets amazing fuel economy. Highly recommend this dealership, and definitely ask for Valeria you won’t be sorry!

I had my vehicle brought in to have my drivers side door key solenoid replaced. Everyone was great here. But when I got my car back there were a few strange things done to my car. My rear hatch panels seem to have been removed and clips broken and missing. You can see in video. It’s just strange because they only needed to work on my driver side door. But when I was about to drive off I noticed it looks like they hit my front left side fender onto something. A photo will also be at the bottom. They fixed my key solenoid but there were areas that didn’t needed to be removed or touched. I was initially notified about what was needed done and that was not one of the areas I was told. Hitting my vehicle and not telling me is a bit childish. I take care of my car and I take photos of it so that damage was not there when I brought it in. It’s just a bit disappointing coming from a dealership shop.
