Absolutely terrible experience with Towing Service. They towed my car from my own assigned and paid parking spot—which was clearly approved by my apartment management. When I called to explain, they were extremely rude, refused to listen, and even hung up on me. I was forced to pay $410 to get my car back for a mistake that wasn’t mine. Completely unprofessional and unethical behavior.

If anyone knows how to shut this business down I will try my best to shut it down like they tried to tow my car . They are really bad. They do everything they can to make money from towing. They are really bad at it and don’t think bad things will happen to them when they are that bad. They towed my car and drove it around to get mileage. I turned on the tracker and followed them the whole way. I ran after them when they dropped my car off in the parking lot and that’s when I wanted to pick it up. He told me I had to pay $550 to pick it up at that point. They make up their own rules to make more money from us. I don’t understand how they can survive with their ridiculous rules. We ran after the car and agreed to pay him to drive around San Jose for fun! But they wanted more money, it was ridiculous. If I could give them a negative score, I hope they get shut down and fined. Can they take that money and still survive. and the places that cooperate with this place to take our money, I pray they live in peace.…….

DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS. This towing company needs to be reported and shut down. They sit in the tow trucks and find excuses to tow the car away and then charge an excessive amount in order for the car to be returned. They charged my friend $530 in order to get the car back. This is absolutely absurd!

UNETHICAL business! this spot just towed my aunts car and it was $530! It was parked at target and she was in and out of that place in under 15 mins before realizing her car was gone. Her handicap sign had expired a few days ago and she had read her expiration date wrong. The fact that she was in and out for only a few minutes and have her car gone and towed is insane, it's like the towing place drives around looking for people's car that they can tow so that they can profit-- the amount charged was just ROBBERY and not justified. They charged her for the tow fee $270, storage fee $125, and the after hour fee $135 which added up to $530.That is crazy! this place will charge anything and everything. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL, no business should be able to charge that much and should be AUDITED and checked. Horrible business practice and greedy.

My experience with Rebello Towing on June 28 was absolutely unacceptable and should serve as a warning to anyone dealing with them. My Volkswagen ID.4 was legally parked and registered at Amalfi Apartments, Milpitas. Unfortunately, I made an honest mistake by entering one wrong digit in my license plate number during registration — typed an 8 instead of a 9. The car make, model, and all other details were 100% accurate. Despite this, Hamayuon, the tow truck driver from Rebello, towed my vehicle without using any discretion or attempting to verify the situation. I paid $530 to retrieve it. What made the situation worse was the arrogant and dismissive behavior I encountered from the towing company's staff: David, the supervisor, acknowledged that the car was registered and admitted the mistake was minor yet refused to help in any way. Dave, who I understand is the owner or boss, repeatedly told me this was a “waste of time” and showed zero empathy or accountability. Hamayuon, the driver, was robotic and rude, towing without question even though the vehicle was visibly legitimate and registered. I provided: Proof of parking registration Tow receipt Verbal confirmation from the apartment that the car was registered Still, no refund, no resolution, just complete stonewalling. This was clearly a predatory tow exploiting a minor typo to charge over $500. This company profits off residents' honest mistakes and hides behind technicalities instead of using fair judgment or customer service. Dealing with them feels less like a towing service and more like being shaken down by a mafia-style operation. Once they’ve towed your car, they’ll charge outrageous fees and make it nearly impossible to get a refund.

Really kind and understanding guys here, I made a mistake of parking in the handicap area, went to pick up my car the next morning and they were extremely understanding. I appreciate their compassion.

Don’t trust this business . They towed my car from our apartment for nonsense . They broke my suspensions . They are so greedy , be careful about this business .

This is not a reputable buisness owner!!! according to Reddit on San Jose sub he’s predatory!!! Watch out for Rebellos!! And report them to the better buisness bureau!!!

They are so so rude! I was just asking questions such as invoice for the towing, and the employee was so rude! The owner or the manager came and started raising his voice, charged towards me as if to physically hit me. I wish there was some sense of decency.

If you park anywhere near Robello's Towing's stomping grounds, you better be Usain Bolt if you plan on seeing your car again. I’m convinced they have drivers dressed in camo, hiding in the bushes with binoculars, ready to pounce the second your tires even think about touching a yellow line. I left my car for five minutes to grab a coffee, came back out, and I swear I saw it waving goodbye from the back of their truck. It’s no surprise there’s a class-action lawsuit against them—these guys tow cars faster than Amazon Prime delivers packages. I half expect them to start using drones to lift cars straight off the pavement. The fees to get your car back? You'd think you were buying it back from a luxury dealership. When I asked if my car at least got a wax and a detail for that price, the woman at the counter just stared at me like I’d asked her to solve a calculus problem. If you love playing hide-and-seek with your own car and paying ransom fees for the privilege, Robello's is your dream come true. For the rest of us, it’s more like the Hunger Games of parking.

I was towed in my OWN apartment that I paid for the space just because I rented a car (for two days) and didn’t notify the management. Avoid this company and any apartment that works with this at all cost!!!

**“I had an extremely disappointing and upsetting experience with this towing company. My nephew, a hardworking student who recently arrived from Mexico, parked in a red zone for just five minutes to retrieve his school notebook with his homework. In that short time, his car was towed without warning. Unfortunately, the vehicle also contained all of his landscaping tools, which he uses daily to earn a living after school. He normally parks four blocks away from his apartment every night due to the lack of available parking in his area. This one small mistake cost him dearly. When we went to retrieve the car, the woman at the front desk was incredibly rude, dismissive, and showed no understanding or professionalism. This company shows zero compassion and operates in a predatory manner. I would strongly caution others to be aware of how they treat people—especially those who are just trying to work hard and get by. Very disappointing and unprofessional service.”**

Predatory towing service. Towed my car within 10 mins, I was there to drop off stuff at my frnds place who lives in the same apartment complex. There were a lot of vacant parking spaces, they have spotters without any proper signage

They were very kind, respectful and accommodating to the fact that I was in Texas at time of towing. Let’s be honest no one likes getting their car towed but this place was unlike most!

This is another example of a lawless state (CA). This company operates on fishy and predatory practices. Someone has to put an end to it. For the first time, I went to the PayPal park to watch a soccer match. I was running late and there was a big line to the stadium parking lot. I saw the public plaza next to the stadium and to my surprise there were plenty of spots available. Remember this was Saturday night when all the business except In&Out were closed. I parked there as I didn't see any sign indicating a tow-away zone. Long story short, this scam company towed my car and charged me $530. The whole thing took less than 2 hrs. I had to pay because it was midnight as I had to go back to SF; 3 other people were with me. This is a clear example of a fishy business. They want people to park at that plaza otherwise there should be a sign on every single spot just like other places. I will take them to small calim courts but I truly feel that we have abandoned from authorities to live with disgrace people like this company. We as people can get together and file a class-action sue.

Those fraudsters scratched my car and my neighbor’s car. I park my car regularly every day in my assigned parking spot in the parking garage of my complex. One day, I saw them attempting to tow my car out of the parking garage and it scratched both my car and my neighbor’s car. While I was yelling at them, they detached my car and fled the scene. This was a total fail. I hope they never try this again.

This company gets away with too much. They are crooked an cannot wait to towe my car again from my own condo when parked in my own legally complex(home owner). It's because they work with haters. Them haters play too dirty.

The ABSOLUTE WORST COMPANY AND PEOPLE EVERRRR! They charged me $530 just to pick up my car outside of my client’s house I work as a caregiver and parked out front for an hour I usually do that when I’m getting groceries or go back out. I was so angry to come out after to see my car gone. I got a ride from my client’s bf to help me get there since uber was over the top expensive like ridiculous but this guy was so rude too said it was fine I didn’t have to pay on the phone then in person charged me $530. Luckily my grandfather was on the phone and able to save me. Or else the fees go up by $125 after 24 hours btw I took pics of everything and I have filed a claim to my insurance company. I’m getting my grandfather’s money back. This was total unfair and unacceptable.

This company has repeatedly towed vehicles , claiming they were parked illegally. How is it illegal to park in your own driveway? They are absolute scammers who prey on innocent people, hoping you'll pay their outrageous fees without a fight. Their shady tactics and lack of accountability are disgusting. When confronted, they offer no explanation or solution—just more lies. I’ve seen them target countless others in my neighborhood with the same fraudulent behavior. If you see their tow trucks circling, watch out! Stay far away from this business, and if they've wronged you, report them to the authorities immediately. This company needs to be shut down!

I had an extremely unpleasant and frustrating experience at this location, and I feel compelled to share it. One of the staff members, whose name sounded like Mariya/Moriya, was particularly unprofessional. She was a shorter, heavier-set woman, and her behavior was erratic and disrespectful. When I expressed concerns about allowing them to photocopy my ID due to reports of unauthorized transactions at this location, she insisted on making a copy despite my objections. I explained that if they insisted, I would need to record the interaction for legal purposes. At that point, she became extremely agitated, yelling and banging on the desk. Even after we asked her to calm down, she continued shouting uncontrollably, which made the entire experience very distressing. That said, another male staff member later stepped in to assist us and was very polite and professional, which I appreciated. Overall, my advice to anyone visiting this location is to avoid sharing sensitive information like ID copies and, if possible, use cash for transactions. This company does not seem particularly friendly or trustworthy based on my experience.

They mark up and adding costs that are not supposed to be there. You are in a position that you are stuck and you can’t get your vehicle out and they are using that position of power to just charge a bunch of different fees that they are not supposed to. They towed my vehicle from a handicap parking with a placard on and they wouldn’t let me inspect the vehicle properly to show them that it was in there. I’m moving forward with a small claims court to recover my fees because I was able to get video proof of the whole process including the moment of opening the car and showing the placard on the spot. This review is mainly for property managers - you want to make sure you work with people with the right values and not doing shady things like these guys.

Is there an option for zero stars? If they tow your car, prepare to spend at least an hour—or more. For the amount of money they take from people, you'd expect them to upgrade their system to get customers out the door more efficiently. Instead, they seem to operate at the speed of a turtle.

Last night this tow truck driver got made because I was going too slow for him merging on highway 101 and flashed his spotlight in my face. I could have gotten into an accident! This jerk should not be a tow truck driver!

This company is engaging in fraudulent practices. They deliberately exploit people to take their money. My car was towed from our assigned parking spot simply because the permit accidentally fell off, possibly during the towing process. They refused to release my car without charging $505! I urge everyone to file complaints with your apartment complex against this unethical company and consider filing claims in small claims court to challenge them.

My car was towed parking in Sofi Berryessa apartments complex. There were no towing sign within sign or within the apartment complex. I didn't get any warning from the apartment management. By law they have to issued a violation notice after 96 hrs then they can have the car tow. no phone number, no sign to call and we have to call management for the towing company name and number. The car was towed in the morning of 05/02/2023 and I pick it up at 1pm. Rebello towing service charge me 366$ for total included 250$ for towing and 110 for storage. What's storage? I will take this matter to the next level to contest this towing company charge and the negligent of the Sofi Berryessa apartment management

I think the supervisor who called in my tow lives where I live. I am not resting until I get to the bottom of it. I have a strong haunch something was unethical. Even though my community got me half my money back. I took a late night stroll and this guy is out working on some beater and fits the description of this guy that said I almost ran him over. The so called supervisor. I was just trying to go to bed , but wanted to make sure my daughter had her permit on , and I stumbled on this. There is definitely unethical business being practiced with this company and some apartment communities.
