Had a great first time experience recycling here. Upon pulling into the parking lot Maria approached us and offered to help. Since my wife and I had never been there before we were happy to have her show us where to get the cans and bottles weighted, get a receipt and collect. In and out in less than 5 mins. Highly recommend this place. Great happy people.

It was a very quick and easy experience and we were given a very good offer on copper. The staff are very accommodating to the point they offered drinks when giving our pay. The process to make sure the material wasn’t stolen was also very secure. Will use again if in the area.

Zo will take care of you this place is one of the best recycling places in San Jose and around the Bay Area they have the best paying prices on anything specially the copper wire I recommend this place 100% been coming here since I was a kid with my parents great family business.

Zo and Ranch Town Recycling are without a shred of doubt the BEST! The best prices, the best service, the best in EVERYTHING overall. I actually go out of my way passing a few recycling centers that are much closer to me just because the prices, the services and the overall experience is consistently the BEST! I can't give Ranch Town Recycling and Zo a higher review. They are simply awesome! My go-to recycling center for life now. Any time I have scrap aluminum, cans and bottles to recycle, I know exactly where to go. 5 stars for life! Everyone there, from Zo, to the owner and every worker there is superb!
This facility is well organized and well staffed. They make the process quick and easy. They have traffic monitors in the parking area to help you safely back-up, unload, etc.
I had a small wine fridge that had died and needed to be recycled. I stopped by on a Saturday and they quickly moved though the folks in line ahead of me, so I got out and on my way in no time. I was probably there for less than 10 minutes in total. The took the fridge out of my car for me and I didn't even need to park or get out. There was a $10 fee for recycling due to hazardous chemicals. They were super friendly with great costmer service. I definitely recommend using Ranchtown for any recycling needs!

Their customer service is absolutely top-notch—every time I visit, there’s always someone ready and willing to help me unload my materials. The staff is friendly, efficient, and genuinely seem to care about making the experience as easy as possible for their customers.
On top of that, their prices for wires are fantastic. I’ve shopped around, and Ranchtown consistently offers some of the best rates. It’s clear they value their customers and make the whole process smooth and worthwhile. I can’t recommend them enough—this place sets the gold standard for recycling centers!
(Cans and bottles customer) An employee greeted me as soon as I got there and offered help and talked to me on a real level. This is neither the fastest nor slowest service I've experienced, but the payout was very fair, about 85% of individual count. I didn't ask for that, but I'm sure my request would have been honored.

Easy experience with friendly people! I just took 2 loads of metal for recycling and was surprised at what it was worth as opposed to "nothing" which was what I was expecting.
They recycle steel, aluminum, glass, and all kinds of things, but call them first if you aren't sure!
I'm so thankful to be able to clean up my backyard!!
