Trying to charge $140 upfront for driving in with a regular sized car to discard 5 moving boxes worth of trash (filled with mostly paper and clothing).
Smells like rip-off to me.
This place is great because it’s a lot closer than the valley or downtown LA (which is where all the dumps are located at). But they are expensive. $150/per ton for construction debris.
It’s very convenient and close if you’re doing work on the west side and have construction debris. I think the prices are reasonable.. it’s quick to get and dump your debris and get out.
Transfer station. We dump Constructio debris there when we have small amounts. Due to convenience It’s expensive and has increased 30% in the last year like everything else. Guys that work there are reasonably pleasant
Very easy weigh in and weigh out. $94 for up to one ton of trash. No chemicals, not chemical containers. Crew helps you, move around and park safely. Basically you back up to and open space offload your junk and that's it. A tractor continuously moves junk to the compactor which feeds down to bigger trucks to haul out
If all the service industry businesses were as nice and friendly and accommodating as SCD, the workday-world would be wonderful to live in.
Trash is a dirty business; SCD has cleaned it up.
This place is a rip off, cashier (owner) pathetic unhelpful guy, because you own that place doesnt give you the right to threat COSTUMERS that way, sorry to say this but is the true, i ask for the price for a ton of (wherever), and he told me, i dont care what you have, if its less than a ton you still have to paid the minimun rate.

This location is not operational and shall not retain license. They do not accept payments outside of paper cash. They fraudulently overcharge by weighting only once. If you do not return to weight twice, you pay an estimated double.
