The recycling center, really a tent and a shed, is convenient, quick, and easy. It's right next to Ralph's, in the parking lot across from McDonald's, and it's on my way to do shopping anyway, so it's super convenient. I've never had a problem yet. They specialize in bottles and cans, I believe, so if that's all you need, definitely check out Sunset Recycling Center.
Love this place-so much better than RePlanet and Sammy's -I always dreaded going to the recycling centers and then we found this place! The señora is always very pleasant which makes the experience better. They accept other types of plastic and glass that usually go into the city recycling bins which means more $$$ Highly recommend this business!
This site is my only recycling center that I use. The employees are very helpful and courteous. I seriously do not go anywhere else. You shouldn't either.
I have tried other recycling centers before in the past, but this has been the best location to take all my glass, cans and plastic. I would highly recommend this location!
I really don't know what is the correct disbursement for bottles/cans/plastic. You might get more money down in Newhall, but convenience, lack of lines, and friendly service is more important to me. There are no other recycling services my side of town. It's a quick in and out, and when they are slow, they will jump in and help unbag and dump into the baskets for weighing. I love this place.
Ok experience. But employee who put on a mask when I got there - had his wife/girlfriend and their kid there - who weren’t wearing masks and she was the one who paid out the cash. Not safe / adhering to current protocols whether you agree or not with them.
