They wasted my time, made me wait and never followed through. Called pick a part, who came and picked my car up, as supposed to. I’d say go with pick a part, they seemed to be more reliable and punctual. I didn’t get that professionalism from phone operators at this place.

SUV developed the dreaded AFM malfunction that affects 5.3 motors. Engine was done. Tow truck driver tried to take advantage of my misfortune and offered me $2500. I knew the truck had more value but was not sure how to find a buyer. Called the company that leaves cards on windshields and they offered me $700. They were a joke. Just as I was about to basically donate it, I started googling and found the Cash for Cars website. I completed their online quote and they offered me $5900. I called them on a Wednesday at 10:30 PM and they answered. They took my info and said they would call me in the morning. After asking me more about my vehicle, asking for pics and inquiring about the title and motor, they offered me $5000. Cash for Cars offered me a fair deal. The car was picked up by Friday afternoon. I was very impressed with their very professional staff. Nirosha Netha was great and guided me throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend.

All in all this was a good experience. The customer service agents were fabulous and I was given a fair price for my car. My only problem was I was given a window time of 8-12pm and the tow truck arrived at 3:45pm and I missed an entire day of work . The tow truck drivers were pleasant and fast. Finally , I was given the payment agreed upon but cashing the check wasn't as smooth as the tow truck pick up . I went directly to the bank the check was issued from and after 45 minutes the bank notified me the funds weren't available and to try the following day . I hope this wasn't a scam , but I won't know until tomorrow. I hope this review helps . Good luck to all . Thank you 😊

Initial quote was reasonable and easy to get. Everything after that was handled with a lot of miscommunication and forgetfulness between cash for cars and the tow truck driver who was supposed to pick up my car. But the miscommunication began with the agent over the phone who asked how much of a heads up I would need to pick up the car which I answered as being 45-minutes. Somehow, on the day of pickup, the tow truck driver called me about 15-minutes before he was supposed to be where I stated, but I informed him about the 45-minute window I was initially given. I, then, told him I would not be there for at least 30 more minutes and added right after that I would not be there until 12:45pm. He said, "ok." I got another call from the same guy at 12:32pm saying he was already there, and I told him, "what are you talking about, I am still on the freeway, and I just told you that I wouldn't be there until 12:45pm which was 30 minutes from your phone call." His response was, "No, you told me 20 minutes ago that you would be there in 30 minutes." Even, just doing the math at that moment, I was thinking... Doesn't that mean that I shouldn't be there NOW, but I should be there 10-minutes from now? But I shook my head and apologized for the confusion anyway, since he said it is fine and he will wait for me to get there." In fairness to him, I actually wasn't there until 12:50pm in reality. In all, I was pretty happy with his demeanor and the fact that he showed up early since it was no skin off of my back. Also, it turned out he had no idea I was there for cash for cars. Since this was my first time using cash for cars, I was confused and we were both just staring at each other scratching our heads, since nothing was ever explained or communicated to us beforehand by the people on the phone. I finally said the magic words of, "I am selling my car and I thought you were taking it from me?" and he was like, "Oh you are going through a company? I wasn't sure if you were selling it at auction yourself or something." Then, I added on the bit about it being for, "cash for cars." And then the big "Aha moment" happened where now the information started spewing in that this was probably for cash for cars to sell at auction for me as a donation to charity. At which point I was ecstatic that it was now going to a good cause! Overall, I was happy to get a check on the spot, with minimal time spent on the transaction. But the communication from the online/phone team could have (and probably should have) been waaaay better.

Everything was great. Rakeem got the ball rolling and got me to Venky and Jenny to make sure I could get a same day pick up. My window for pickup was noon -5 and as it got closer to 5, I was able to call dispatch and spoke to Veronica who was completely understanding and told me the driver would call in a few minutes. And he did. Jose went above and beyond. He was great. I would definitely recommend Cash for Cars to friends. Thanks again for everything.

Everything went well until the tow truck came because the driver was rude and unprofessional. He was very aggressive and at one point I told him that I didn’t want him to pick up the car. All of a sudden his tone changed. Other than that the rest of the experience was good.

My son totaled his 2005 E class and we had no other choice but to sell. They were on top of the situation asap. I called another place that quoted less and told me the market is down or something crazy like that. Cash For Cars got me a reasonable quote over the phone and towed it for free the next day. I had some problems with tow truck arriving when they said it would. We waited 3 hours and was getting run around over the phone with them and the tow truck company they work with. That seemed to be a driver who had some sort of mix up or truck trouble. Luckily another driver picked up slack and was very polite. Thank You Cash for Cars 🚗 🙂🙂
