By far, one of the best paying recycling centers in the area. The workers here have always treated me with respect and friendliness. They start to close up shop about 30 minutes to 45 minutes before closing, I guess it would just depend how well they did for that day as far as how many recyclables that people brought in that day. From the moment you arrive to the moment you walk away with cash in hand (considering you have already separated your aluminum, plastics, and/or metals) you should be out of there in no more than 5-10 minutes. I would definitely recommend going here if youre in the area or even if you have to travel a bit to get here.
Got $60 a ton for metal that I felt like I got raw dogged on was sure how this got me at tin scrap so idk had to come twice of no option at the time of day ask before you drop your load of what material it is going to be classified to save some trouble. The dude helping me off load goat !
I liked this one for recycling. I mostly brought cans and bottles from my parents houses so it was alot . I haven't been by in a few years but used to come often for a lil change ..as many know some places are hit and miss. Really fast and easy! It was easier for me to parallel park on the street but the spot is a bit tight if you drive in and especially if your car is big.
Easy quick process and plenty of containers to put bottles and cans. I’ve never come here with anything other than clear plastic or aluminum cans. My only complaint is that the space is very small where to park your car and it can be hard to navigate the little space to leave. The people are usually pretty friendly.
VERY unprofessional. Based on the way they answered the phone. They are clueless about what they do for a living, as they could not provide simple pricing over the phone, which is literally how the Industry works. There is another vendor down the street, that knows how to treat a client. I'm taking my business elsewhere.
The service here is very straightforward not to mention how quick they move. Every time I go I know I can expect to be out of there in 3-5 mins, definitely no more than 10 minutes. once they weigh all your recyclables, they ask you for your name and go to the second window which is located through the driveway next to the one where things are weighed. You then walk up to a window and they immediately ask you for your first name and last name. No California state ID is required when recycling, plastics and aluminum cans, however, it is required when recycling copper and other metals. Once you give her your name, you sign a copy Of the receipt and she hands you the money, your receipt, and a candy. The staff is pretty respectful and friendly. Just be aware that the recyclables you take are all California CRV because they only take CRV. If if they happen to notice any non-crv recyclables among your recyclables they will warn you the first time. But the second time they will trash all of your recyclables and deny you of service.
I do have a question though because I am comparing payout prices per pound of plastics and aluminum For the recycling centers in my area; what is the payout price per pound for plastics? And what is the payout price per pound for aluminum?

Be extremely careful taking any cans/recycling here!! First there is no address listed out front, 2nd: the driveway is littered with broken glass, 3rd: When a BIG RIG TRUCK PULLS IN you have to move so far out of the way from the RECYCLING CENTER your body has to LITERALLY HUG THE BARRIERS/FENCE, 4th: ABSOLUTELY NO CAR PARKING, 5th: if you park on street you have to be careful of traffic as they HAVE TO DRIVE INTO THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET TO GO THROUGH IN BOTH DIRECTIONS, 6TH: THEY ALLOW THEIFS TO BRING IN FAUCETS AND ITEMS FROM HOMES BEING BUILT THEN ALLOW THE PEOPLE TO DISMANTLE THE FIXTURES TO BE DISMANTLED ON THE PROPERTY TO SAY THEY HAD NO IDEA!!!7th: to get paid any money you must go next door to a separate office and the staff mandate you MUST SHOW IDENTIFICATION FOR RECYCLING of aluminum cans and plastic bottles whereas the FEDERAL LAW ONLY REQUIRES PEOPLE RECYCLING COPPER, BRASS, MOTOR ENGINS BEING RECYCLED TO SHOW IDENTIFICATION IN ORDER TO GET PAID!!
the only good part was they pay maybe 5cents more for REAL recycling of plastic bottles and aluminum cans
This place is dirty with cars flying by on the street that has you scrambling to enter and to some how make a u-turn in the tiny space provided and having to wait bcuz it's now filled with others selling their cans here at not to mention a rip off price of $1.56 I believe it was, in discuss I threw away receipt. So I'm out of the weight station now without getting hit by the flying cars I need to exit and drive out park then walk 500 ft to cash out now I'm at the window, blah blah blah from the nice lady oh and the nice man who took my cans both Very nice and so blah blah I get my cash. Never again later alligator!! No star I wish I could give to employees but I'm sure they'd steal and keep them. :/
If I can give negative stars I would.it was unorganized,dirty,bad customer service.i recycled more aluminium than copper.the weight ticket when I got home said i recycled nothing but copper.
Dishonest people!!! If you are smart you will RUN, RUN, RUN far away from these peole!!! I will likely soon be filing a Lawsuit & performing other administrative sanctions. They could have easily handled my situation, but first call I knew it was going to South. Read other 1 stars, of you don't believe.
I've been to most of the recycling centers in that general area and I feel that Pomona scrap metal is been about the fairest they take refrigerators stoves dryers washing machines you name it they even take cars.
Vary polite young ladies and there prices are vary fare. Considering they scrap all ur metals, and you can do your normal recycling all in the same trip. Shoot, if you ask me you can’t find a better place then this one. I defenetly recommend a friend
I was their today had 27 pounds clean aluminum they tried to pay me for painted aluminum. I had a cast iron sink 95 pounds they dried to pay me for 54 pounds. I took it back. Don't trust them.
